I think no.6 is now a bigger need than CB.
The improvement when Trey and Stefan came on must be slightly worrying for Endo and Jones. It was like watching someone driving finding out the car's a manual not automatic. Bradley puts in such consistency that none of us are surprised when he's excellent, just normal service. Carvallho didn't present a strong case for not going on loan again.

John said on the last show that he expects Curtis to start against Ipswich and asked "who's gonna move out of the team once he's in it?" I said to myself Curtis will move himself out of the team because he's injury prone!

We looked better as soon as Jones and Endo went off. They are both so static and passive when receiving the ball, a real sliding doors moment for Nyoni. TAW must have a sell on clause on Van den Berg, the fella can’t pass it forward.

Curtis getting injured was a blessing in disguise because in a team like this he would be brilliant higher up the pitch.

Blair and Gordon gave a much clearer look at what we'll look like when we have our 9's back imo. We'll defend with a front 2 but in possession one will drop and one will stay up top
Impressive scanning from all the lads leading up to the failed Arne hi-jack. Very hard to teach that kind of peripheral awareness.
Looked like two 10's rather than two false 9's. No really Center Forwards in the Squad at the moment so work with what you've got. Love seeing the flying fullbacks come back into play with the overlap/underlap options.

First real exhibition, grain of salt stuff, but one positive was the runs from deep especially Bradley and Quansah. Was definitely part of the general attack and certainly unbalanced the defense. One thing that stood out on the not so positive side (can’t bring myself to say negative, that’s a bit much) was the numerous runs behind that weren’t played in, especially off turnovers in the midfield. It’s almost like they weren’t looking for it and focused more on building possession. Good stuff though, great to see the Reds again!
