Omg. He’s so ADORABLE. I wanna give him a hug.
yes, so cute
Seems like he'd be a fantastic person to learn from!
Unfortunately the person passed away on 2016 and his shop had turned into a restaurant.
@@hvboovuhhucb6128 ...aaawww...I'm so glad we have these videos! This is a part of what he brought to the world!
I just came from another comments section where someone made me cry, and this guy is so wholesome, he would never make me cry
what a pleasant man
When he said "liquidizer," I was anticipating a $1,000 machine the size of my kitchen table, and then he pointed to a blender.
lol!
same lol
Same here. Hahaha
hahahah!! same
i think it was him being funny. dry humor. cuz same ahahha (but i've made paper to paint on before, and we totally used a blender so i lol-ed)
I visited Jonathan's stand at the Chiltern Craft Fair earlier in the year. I had a great time producing a piece of linen paper. Also Jonathan showed me how to make the denim/fabric paper. Thanks so much can thoroughly recommend. Hannah
I'm doing as much research as possible before starting in on making paper, which I hope to sell. This process blew my mind. I assumed that at some point some traditional paper pulp would come into the mix. Wow!
It is also inspiring me to look for ANY 100% cotton clothes at thrift stores to use for supplies, since actually gathering used paper has become harder in this world that does more and more correspondence electronically.
I take all the useless letter that get sent my way and turn them into recycled paper
I found this looking for a way to breakdown my dressmaking scraps into fibers that can be carded, spun and woven into new fabrics. This gives me ideas! Thank you very much for this video.
Did you ever give this a try? Did it work out well?
I have no words for how much I love this man
My kindergarten kids are going to LOVE doing this, thank you so much!
Oh my god this video is so pure I can't handle it
Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I am excited about papermaking again. I intend to make the paper I need to make a journal, the embellishments, the tucks, pockets, cards etc... It might take me all the year but it's a lovely project to work on... Off to the charity stores to find fabric to use, old jeans, sheets, shirts ... Anything I might be able to use.... I am in papermaking heaven!
This is awesome! I often make paper from scraps from my studio, but never knew you could use denim! Thank you for sharing this with us!
No one talking about that awesome hat? Seriously no one else in the world could pull that hat off but this guy.
HIS IS SO ADORABLE 😭❤️❤️
Thanks.. Have a blessed day..
Thank you for your time showing the paper making
I like how he calls the blender a liquidizer. 😅💖
🤗😆😂
That is what British people call a blender
Howdy, thank you for this wonderful demonstration -- never would've thought this could be done with pieces of denim - nice hat too
Thank you. I had no clue denim could be used this way!
Really good demonstration and explanation, thank you.

Excellent tutorial! Concise, to the point and fun especially considering it appears to be done as a spur of the moment video! Simple to figure the different words for the same object by the way :-).

Peace and blessings to you and your family,Sir
I used to use an old wringer washer. One time I started a load of jeans and forgot it. Did a few farm chores and waaaay later that day remembered about them. The jeans that were already worn and holy had become liquidized. The newer jeans were quite weathered and fragile.
So COOL! THANKS FOR THE LESSON

Fantastic.
👍🏻🤗🤗👍🏻
This is a great idea for schools to teach in art class as you do not see the kids taught things that are fun and also intresting and also educational like this they can learn how the paper that money is made from is also made in quite the same wayand then it gets bleached to remove any color before it gets printed on to make our dollar bills that all are made somewhat in the same way you have shown on here thank you for the great video my new subscribed friend
That’s really interestering
Wooooow
Sir it's ossam today you gave me my dream that's what I was wondering about yourself to make new recycle products out of paper thank you.

Omg. Are they looking for a Mr. Rogers double. Move over Tom Hanks. This guy doesn’t even need to act. He’s awesome. Lol love this. Now folks make sure to use “clear” water. Do not use muddy water. Great video seriously
Спасибо за прекрасное видео лайк
Awesome video! I’ve made paper before with more primitive methods. TFS. Tere
Yes, I can make these with my old clothes that I would've donated or thrown away! Thank you!
Great video! I have been wanting to make paper out of canvas scraps and this was a pretty good comparison since they are both made from cotton and are similar materials! :•)
This man speaks English with every accent. I love him.
@ECLECTIC DOMESTIC money? i think the idea is to use old torn up jeans/textiles instead of throwing them out..everything else needed for paper making is either around the house already or easy to get (mold/deckle - just some bits of wood and screen you can get from lowes and throw together yourself)
He is so adorable! And it is an amazing way to recycle old clothes! It is 100% cotton paper so it should make a great watercolour paper. Did anyone try to paint or print over it? Greetings!
Only issue that I saw from another source and I know from making my own paper is works great with ball point pens but fountain pens and paint will run unless you size the paper first. To size the paper I googled it and they said add a package of gelatin to the pull will help prevent the bleeding effect. If I were to use jeans I would bleach it first to make it closer to white
Liquidized!!!!!
amazing
Hi thanks for your video. can I ask do you have to cook it first, like other fibres?
Can you please tell me what the music is at the end? Liquidizers! So great.
can you use lint from the dryer?
Beautiful. Do you do paper relief casting? I would like to learn to make botanical paper relief by first pressing the plants into a mold of some sort then casting the impression using paper. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
yes, it is a fancy name for blender!
