The reason they sound so good together is because vivir mi vida came from c'est la vie. Big shout out to REDONE and Sergio Georges for both these masterpieces
The song, C'est La Vie might remind people of a World Cup song because this song was sampled by Magic in the Air. Magic in the Air is a 2014 song by Ivorian group Magic System and Moroccan singer Chawki. Although never the official World Cup song, MitA was a soccer-themed song made to coincide with the 2014 World Cup. Both songs are also produced by the same Moroccan-Swedish producer, RedOne. The 2022 World Cup was definitely a blown opportunity to use C'Est La Vie, considering how Qatar is Arabic-speaking and how this song is sung in both Arabic and French. Oh well. Maybe when France (or another Arabic or French-speaking country) hosts the World Cup and if Khaled is still be alive by then, this song can finally become an official World Cup song.
Excellent mash up! I love how well khaled and mark anthony's voices complemented each other. MA's slower version is so soulful, and khaled's original is full of life and this was a great balance in between!
Both sound equally good, but the king of salsa, the golden skinny, the skeleton of salsa, because it is what it is, Khaled expresses a possibly lived experience, Marc Anthony ties up the idea of turning the page, philosophizing in the argument 'I will live in the moment, to understand destiny, I will listen to the silence to find the way', both parts are things that most of humanity does not practice, because silence torments them, we are so submerged in the noise of the life that when we are next to someone who is fallen, we jump running away from him, forgetting that in that silence is the rhythm of our heart.
Oussama OUALI exacte même si la version de Marc Anthony est la plus célèbre ça reste juste une reprise. Celle de Khaled est la meilleure car c’est l’originale. C’est un peu facile de surfer sur le succès des autres avec une reprise.
No Marc Anthony is a ripoff... C'est La Vie is the original. Cheb Khaled shouldn't have let him do the cover of his song he's reaping all the fame from it and he's so stuck up. Khaled is the original and you don't mess with the original. If you guys actually understood the lyrics you'd agree that Khaled's french/arabic version is way better. Plus Marc Anthony can't sing worth a shit. All he did was change the lyrics to spanish and tweak it a little bit to make it rhyme. KHALED'S C'EST LA VIE IS ORIGINAL AND THE BEST! ON VA S'AIMER ON VA DANSER OUI C'EST LA VIE LALALALALA!!!
So you're stating that a song that no one understands shouldn't be translated into a different language so that everyone can enjoy music regardless who sings it because it's considered "trashing"? I like both versions and the salsa version as well, if you don't like it stop searching Marc Anthony on CZcams and save your comment to someone who actually cares about your long benighted comment.
Aubree Cox I think that Marc Anthony brought life back to this song. Granted no one will ever take credit away from Mr Khaled. This was an amazing song then and it's an amazing remake. BUT you have to give credit that it is known GLOBALLY now due to Marc Anthony's remake. This remix is Bomb because I love both versions. And Mr. Khaled is getting more recognition from people in countries where his music has never been heard. Great move in Mr. Khaled's part for choosing such an incredible artist as Marc Anthony to remake this song.....it was a WIN WIN from the start!
You don’t have to tear down Marc Anthony. He simply just a covered a great song. His fame here in the U.S. and all over Latin America is different then Khalid’s fame in France, Netherlands, Romania, Sweden, Switzerland, Belgium, Slovakia, the Middle East and North Africa.
Marc Anthony's got an outstanding voice. But it's undeniable his cover is a rip-off and not a sample. = No credit whatsoever so indirectly claims it as his own = Apart from the voice/ everything is kept as original. Just translated.
The reason they sound so good together is because vivir mi vida came from c'est la vie. Big shout out to REDONE and Sergio Georges for both these masterpieces
Doesn't matter, they both sound great
Imagínense que estos dos maestros canten juntos en vivo

Nice mashup, still having trouble deciding who did it better. Though I did like the slower pace of Marc Anthony's just a smidge.

Time of our Lives by Chawki
Don’t fight guys, it’s just that we liked the music so much, we couldn’t let it still, so we did our own versions. I love both !
