Easy answer. Mortal Kombat is more demanding game and it's targetting the same framerate as big consoles. Meanwhile FIFA is less demanding sports game that targets 30 fps on Switch instead of 60 like all other platforms
Mk1 is heavier
People often forgo the easiest and most obvious answer, which is lazier development, multi-platform devs are expecting to just be able to build once on PC and export to all the consoles with minimal tweaks. The Switch requires more work and often doesn't get it
I admit the framerate of EA Sports Fc 24 are limited on Nintendo Switch but the animation concerning the goals celebrations are amazing thanks to the Frostbite Engine mainly the Volta mode. The PS5 version are more incredible.
I don't get why EA removed the team entrance and lineup on PS5. It totally kills the vibe, especially in career mode and Champions League games. And the fact that they kept it on PS4 and Switch? Makes no sense. I'm almost thinking of just getting the PS4 version instead of the PS5 one

Nahh it doesn't ps4s colours are more natural and the shirts and shorts are animated in way that simulates real life

just bought it on the switch for 24$ as a part of the january sales and I am very pleased with my purchase. one thing I noticed the frame rate can be a bit annoying

ea fc on switch is actually very good, slow but the engine is well done
A console 20 times the size and so large and clunky they make DVD players from the 90's look sleek, and no built in screen so you are forced to play only where there is a TV. Long car ride? Plane ride? Waiting rooms? You don't get to play your favorite games... You can't fit yout console in your coat pocket making it crappy when it comes to portability. All that limitation for what? Slightly better graphics? Ya, not a good trade off. The fact the Switch looks as good as it does on something as small as it is? That is more impressive.
Why would you even try and compare switch to consoles?
The switch is way off gameplay wise but it's a massive plus compared to FIFA 23 on switch

I played almost 2-3 months only in handheld mode, I was so pissed at the graphics but when I purchase a TV and connected to it graphics changed & improved a lot.

That's actually not bad at all, it's quite comparable to the PS4 version, sure the PS5 version looks better but i'm not buying a whole console for it, it's not worth it. A lot of the issues with the Switch version could be ironed out if EA cared more, the big issue for me is that it requires a 20gb download size. What's on the cart then? Stunned to hear the PS4/5 versions are 20gb heavier still, why? Really don't see double the difference except on the PS5 version maybe
