A seven-person council to appoint an interim President in Haiti is NOT democracy.
When a local gang leader has said more about the people of Haiti needing to elect their own leader, and you have a bunch of foreign countries saying "No, well pick for you" you have to wonder if our governments actually care about democracy. Especially when they readily deny it to other countries.
Why is other countries not allow Haiti to make it's own decision of who will be putting someone to help change the situation in Haiti. Haiti is a free country and not under siege by those other country making decision for it. I hope the Haiti people not accept what they are being force to accept.
