700hp+ Holden six - PROFC

- GM Holden made the iconic red motor six back in 1964 and it was the mainstay for Holden up until 1985 when unleaded fuel killed it off. It was a tough little motor and Holden made millions of them but I don't think anyone ever thought the little 202ci six would be ever making over 700hp. Paul Coles from Pro Street Automotive owns this awesome little FC and he feeds the tough little 202 with 30psi boost and enough methanol to drown a supercharged big block. Fastest time to date is 10.12 at 132mpg but he recently up the horsepower again and looking for nine second timeslips. Unfortunately the traction wasn't there on the weekend at Heathcote but hopefully Paul will hit the nines soon.

love the sound when the turbo starts spooling up...
Actually power at the engine is the most relevant because there's no drivetrain loses. But at the end of the day the true test is what it runs and currently this car is in the high 9sec area.
that is a unique set up...I've had many "hot" reds but not like that one...nice.

Go watch it again. He says 550hp AT THE WHEELS, which equals over 700hp at the flywheel.
Might need to secure that bellmouth LOL what an absolute weapon.
I remember a white on red fc (mean 59) back in the 90's that had a red six engine that did elevens

Jarryn Smith I use to take it to some of the FE FC car club shows. Mine dose have a mint original interior , but it dose need repainting & a very small amount of body work. Do have an early Holden ?
Oh & yeh.. there’s already a few big dollar FC’s doing the show seen
