    I've been eating high protein for the last six months or so and it's making me feel so much better than I've ever felt! BUT not many vegans seem to do this so it was hard to research and plan. I do high protein and mostly cooked veg and it's working really well for me. I was trying (before my leg broke, now things are a huge mess lol) to really pay attention to how I felt after eating certain things and it's really interesting what I realized was making me feel awful. Can't wait to be all healed and start working on all that again :)

    I’m gonna have to create more space in the “Immy” section of my recipe box. My partner has already created an “Immy” section in our freezer. Today I am making 2 of your previous recipes: Riverford Roasted Winter Root Veg Tacos/Wraps and Pecan Coffee Vanilla Brownies. These brownies are such a hit when I share them with my colleagues at work (it also peaks their interest in vegan food... yah!! ). Honestly Immy, your recipes are fail-proof and so simple. Thank-you so much 🌿💜 PS - I love your doggos and their cuddly Teddy Bear. 🐶🧸

      @@winterrrsea1674 Hi Winterrrsea, Yes I do remember... the unforgettable “Pecan Coffee Vanilla Brownies” were featured in Immy’s recent video called “Making My Favourite Comfort Foods” (Feb. 11/21). The recipe is also listed in her Blog Post (go to Blog Post, click on “Food”, click on “Winter” and you will find the printed recipe under the heading “Making My Favourite Comfort Foods”. (I substituted vanilla extract cuz we can’t get vanilla bean pods where I live. I also baked mine in a 9” square pan). I hope you’re feeling fine during your pregnancy, and that your leg is healing up nicely. Maybe some of these incredible brownies will help you heal and bring a smile to your face. Take care 🌿🍫 PS - I love your name, is there a special meaning behind Winterrrsea?

    Hey, I love your channel and wanted to ask you a question. When I talked with a friend about being more conscious about what to buy she told me that she buys ecofriendly things (like toothbrushes) from AliExpress and when I asked her what she thinks about the long shipping way (and thus CO2 emissions) she told me that a lot of zero waste products that can be bought in Switzerland come from china originally and since she buys those items in bulk it is the same as if the store bought them from china. What would you say about that?

    Really nice video Immy, I struggle to get more protein in my food so this was helpful. I don't have an oven however so maybe if you make more videos with recipes maybe you can present alternative ways to prepare? I know it's a lot to ask but I think that especially people who live with small kitchens sometimes don't have an oven. I recently see a lot of electric air fry cookers for example on CZcams but haven't the faintest idea what and where to buy one. Maybe you know a bit more of this because you live in the UK? For example the Healthy crazy cool guy on CZcams uses a small one. It seems very easy and maybe also sustainable because you don't use a gas stove. Hope you get well soon!

    What is the difference between the stove on the counter and the stove with the lids on your oven? Do they have different purposes?

    • @Merciaks
      @Merciaks Před 3 lety +2

      The stove with the lids on is an Aga, kind of old-fashioned but still rather popular in the UK. It has lids because it's always on, so you need to cover the hot stove. From what I've been told, the temperature in Aga's is not very precise, so most people also get induction/electric hobs on the side for quicker & easier cooking. Feel free to Google more, I don't really know too much about them! :)
