- Welcome back to another video and the fourth "movie" of my channel! Today my friend Brocky and I started our adventure right after the max-pop server we were playing on had wiped; we decided to put our base down near Launch Site. This decision was bold as clans are known to build in the Launch Site area. After not too long, Brocky and I found ourselves surrounded by two groups that outnumbered us and wanted all of the launch site loot to themselves. Enemies were made, friends as well, and after Brocky and I picked on the wrong group, an inevitable raid loomed over our adventure. I hope you enjoy the video!

Hey everyone! I really hope you liked the movie; I had a blast making it😄
I am seeing plenty of comments that are asking/speaking-on these two things:
-You weren't in an actual alliance, you just agreed not to roofcamp or doorcamp, that's not the same thing
-Your neighbors still betrayed you by raiding you especially after you had saved them from getting raided twice
So I figure I will respond to people thinking those things here with a paragraph for each point instead of to everyone individually.
I can see in re-watching the video that I didn't make it abundantly clear, but the little chat we had with our neighbors was not the extent of our interactions with them before they raided us. We frequently typed to eachother in chat, they asked if we wanted to take bradley, roam or even raid with them, we never shot at eachother as we saw eachother running into our bases, and eventually we even PVP'ed together in the same team UI. So while our little conversation about the no roofcamping, no doorcamping wasn't really an alliance, over the next day and a half before they raided us, our friendly encounters with them had definitely seemed to have formed one.
While many of you may still think them raiding us was scummy, I think the contrary. Rust is like a game of soccer (futbol), of course you want to beat the opponent you are playing, right? But you NEED to have an opponent to play against to be able to enjoy the game. Same goes for Rust. Of course if you want to raid someone, you want to win, but you need a target to raid to have the enjoyment and thrill of experiencing a Rust raid. Neither us or our neighbors could consider raiding CR, they were simply too big. Too many members. Their base WAY too big. So they figured they would raid us, an understandable idea. Now because we were friends at this point, they warned us. They gave us near an hour to prepare by making meds, ammo, turrets, etc. A type of warning like this is damn near impossible to find in Rust these days, and I really do not consider their raid a betrayal because of it. We simply misunderstood their intel, and therefor expected a CR raid, not a raid from them. It was our fault. When all was said and done, it was very clear in my conversations with them the next day that they had no malicious, back-stabbing intent, and they truly believed that we knew they were coming to raid us.
Hopefully those to explanations could clear some things up for you guys and let you know my full interpretation of the situations. Of course, I understand many of you will still believe I was wrong to be mad at them because we weren't in an alliance, or they were wrong to raid us after all we had done to them, but that's okay. Everyone is going to have their own unique opinion on what played out... I just hope you guys enjoyed this emotional roller coaster of a story!!!

the way Stevie has changed in these past years is crazy i wish more of your newer videos could be like this one I learnt how to play the games almost the day this came out and throughout my game experience I have never come across a storyteller this good. Do you know the spine tingle you get when something clicks just right, it when something goes horribly wrong. With a few thousand hours in rust, that into gave me chills, And the moment I hear a rocket hit with a hitmarker I felt that.
It's so strange how emotional rust can make you, and how horrible it feels, even to hear the sounds of a raid on your base. This, this feeling right here, is why I play rust, and the fact that in 1:28 seconds you stevie could make me feel it too is well worth subscribing.

Every rust movies of Stevie is enjoyable and it makes you want to stay until the end for the conclusion and stuff which, unlike many other movies dont get that feeling.
OMG! The clutch plays by Brocky during the defend-raid when it all almost seemed to be over. You always managed to have good and reliable teammates in these movies that makes your movies even better, they're more than just a Robin to their Batman, they're another Batman being a key in order to succeed in these adventures of yours!
That one tip is still being used till today if u even remember "dont trust anyone"
