Thank you so much for the support you always give to me - love you all so much †- Jak na to + styl
I am 32 childfree by choice and I gravitate to you for this reason. Other influencers are able to talk about their children on their platforms and being a mum and mum life. If I don't relate I move along... Thank you for keeping the childfree by choice conversation going for us guys! It's appreciated more than you know! â€
I am guilty! I asked a female acquaintance, a couple of days ago, if she was planning on having a family. She answered me and I left it there.
This is a genuine question to you. Would you have found that offensive?
I was trying to conceive for ten years, from 27 to 38. I made the mistake of telling a few people and I ended up being constantly asked, if I was pregnant.
If someone told me that they didn't want children, I'd leave it there. I wouldn't dream of questioning anyone why they didn't want a family. I admire women who go for what they want (or don't want in this case)
I'd be really interested to know your thoughts
Love & light âšïž
I agree with you Olivia. Same reason I watch Victoria and I am 53⊠wasnât my first choice to be child free but itâs how it ended up and some days I just cannot watch the bloggers I follow with children as it stings a bit some days. Not saying itâs their fault itâs just me.
Swear all you want Victoria đ
â@@fibrowarriors682 Hi †I wouldn't be offended at all, I think it's quite a natural question to ask, I think it's just the response that's important. No one needs to know or understand the reasons, just respect the choice which I find most people do and if they don't, that's none of my business đ đ«¶đŒ
Couldnât agree more â€
@@charlotteg1900 đ«¶đŒ
Iâm here for the child-free content! Would anyone ask a content creator with children to stop going on about their kids? Unlikely. So why is it okay for someone to tell you to stop talking about your choice to be child-free? Ah, the good olâ patriarchy đ«
Keep the conversation going, Victoria - itâs so important. â€
Yes, me too!! I have kids, but this is my escape đ€Ș love, love, love your content, Victoria đ
I completely agree!!!
I have only heard Vic talk about not wanting children in two of her past vlogs. She doesnât bang on about it all the time. She and Alex made a decision not to. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. This is a fashion and life style channel. And I have been watching for a long time..đâ€ïžđ
It's not repetitive - it's literally YOUR life and we're choosing to watch YOU. Folks who don't want to hear about it should watch someone else. Keep talking about whatever you want - we're here with you!
Iâm 45, married and child free and itâs great to here you talk about this as itâs relatable to me đ
So so glad you're here!! xx
Me too! Never planned and i should not be my Future with Kids, so dont judge if someone is living a different life.
Sammmmee :)
Same here!
i have children. i still appreciate women talking about being childfree, it makes this visible and shows that we do have a choice. and everyone should decide without societal pressure
I am nearly 51 years young, married, and childfree by choice. I love your vlogs and I've really been enjoying seeing you living your best life. Your recent adventures with family and friends have been so lovely to see, especially since I know you've set goals to take the time for more moments like that.
There are countless family and mommy vloggers out there - my take on it is if I have to hear about other peopleâs children then people will have to just deal with women talking about being childfree đ
Yesss love this xx
A lot of those mummy vlog areas of the internet are so toxic too, which is kind of baffling
đđŒâ„ïž
đđŒ
Honestly thank you for speaking about being childfree. Iâm also 34, happily married but childfree by choice and it was not something I decided upon easily. I agonized over it for a good 6 years and am finally at a place where I feel (for the most part) confident about it. You speaking about this makes me feel less alone. I think thereâs a lot of grief involved in making this choice and itâs very much path less traveled. Please keep talking about it. Appreciate you so much.
Trust your own judgement Victoria, itâs solid.
The âIâm trying to pack a bit lighter these daysâ slow-mo really made me laugh out loud đ€Łđ€Ł Love your vlogs
ahahahaha xx
Hi Victoria, Iâve been following you for a very long time now and normally wonât make comments but felt like I had to. DONâT listen to the negative comments. Theyâre judgement of you donât matter. I find that with all your well deserved success, you still seem genuine. Keep being yourself! â€
Bad commenters are just reflecting their own misery. Xo
Say this louder for the people in the back hahaha xx
So true
Children are a blessing but not everyone should or wants to have children and people should respect that.
You are gorgeous btw!â€
Perfectly put!! xx
There subject of the matter is about being a role model, I guess so it's not exactly stating that "being childless is wrong"... I think that what is meant by Taylor Swift not being someone's role model is connected with the fact that childless people only have to take care about themselves whereas those with kids are less self-centred and more responsible and that's why they're more probable to be a role model. Giving money to charity etc. is obviously very honourable but when you're as rich as Taylor is not actually a huge sign of generosity... Just a though, nothing personal
@@nataliakwidzinska5666 oh yeah, having kids definitely makes you less self-centred and more responsible. I'll remember that when I see another parent ignoring their child down the pub, whilst scrolling on their phone. Childfree people can be just as responsible and outward thinking thanks - sometimes they are carers, sometimes they are doing things for wider society (not just people in their family who they love anyway)...don't make assumptions about huge groups of people - it's just another form of discrimination and part of the problem. Just a thought, nothing personal.
@@charlottewilliams7690 that's just another assumption made by you about SOME group of parentsđ I agree, not every parent is perfect. I have nothing against childless people, let me be clear about that, that was just a thoughtđ
@@nataliakwidzinska5666 Wrong, I didn't refer to a group of people. I said next time I see a parent doing that - which I will, because I see it regularly. and every time I do it is proof that you are wrong to assume that being a parent automatically makes someone responsible and caring. Bye.
I am 31 (32 soon) and itâs so refreshing to hear you talking about being child free by choice.
I donât hear anyone else talk about it! I can relate so much, thank you so much xx
45 here and still child free. Best decision I ever made. Donât feel influenced or pressured by others and I think itâs great you are a role model to other women. I think Taylor Swift is too! Not all women want to breed and itâs great having examples of that in the social media world.
I am the other end as I have 6 children, I love that we are all different and unique in our life choices x
Yesss me too!! Let us all talk about the things that make us happy! xx
It's definitely about respecting that other people's life choices are right for them, in the same way my life choices are right for me, just different life choices! â€
I think there are too many people having kids as they just think itâs what you should do. Itâs nice to have people discussing alternatives. Itâs great you are creating the life you want, keep doing you lovely â€
As a mother to two and a grandmother to one, I ABSOLUTELY respect your choice to be childfree and the conversation shouldn't cause offense to anyone. I enjoy your content for all the topics you discuss: fashion, simple day in the life stuff, fabulous trips, lovely vacations, heart to heart talks, home decor, garden life, etc. You bring it all and it's greatly appreciated â„
I love the fact you talk about it. Itâs much more common now and it should be talked about as itâs completely normal! â€ïž
The high trees catch the wind is all I can say! Love watching you, one of the most "real" people ever.
Ohh this is a lovely saying gosh! xx
You are so lovely and both you and your husband are so hard working in a job you love and are happy doing. Dont understand people who comment negative things . All they have to do is not watch you and move on.dont worry about them because you have nearly a million who love you â€
Yeahhh I always think this! We can curate and watch so much free content across socials, fill it with the things you love :) xx
I'm 39, childfree and have been married for 20 years this October. Being childfree should not be taboo anymore and I still get so fired up when people affiliate that decision with being selfish, cold / non-nurturing, and say I will never experience true love, happiness and fulfill my purpose on this planet. Rant over đ...Wonderful vlog as always Victoria. Hopefully you can resolve what's causing the eye irritation! Sending love from America â„
Hi Victoria, I've only just started watching this video but I want to say that your CZcams content is by far my favourite. You look beautiful on Instagram and the other places you post but we see your personality on CZcams and that's what we all love â€
This is so so kind!! xx
â€
I am 55...(Generation X) married 24 years...LOVE kids but it never happened for us. It blows my mind that people assume because one does not any....they automatically don't want any. Some couples can't conceive and many can't afford alternatives.
64 and childless by choice. People keep saying I'll regret my choice, still waiting......Nope, no regrets yet!đâ€
Victoria do not worry to much, I learnt not everyone will be happy. You are respectful and nice to all. I can think of much worse things to be offended for đ Lovely to hear about the childfree choice, it is inspiring â€
Hi, well I'm in my late 50s, have children and am divorced. I love watching ur vlogs and will continue. Don't apologise to anyone for being u. Plus I love a good curse word it relieves stress. Ur looking fab â€
As a barista I was always told to listen to the pitch in the âscreamâ the milk makes while youâre steaming it! When it changes pitch and stays there then stop steaming. Apparently this keeps you from scorching the milk. đ
Absolutely love Vic and I really hope she gets to 1 Million subscribers soon. People may disagree but I genuinely think sheâs one of the most talented and authentic people online. Iâve been watching her for 7 years and sheâs still the same then as she is now â€just a bit more elevated in terms of style â€
Thankyou so much for being here lovely xx
those are the best looking vintage earrings iâve seen an influencer show! beautiful
As a Scottish person living in Wales, I call Lakes Lochs by mistake all the timeâŠ.. itâs just the word your used to when your chatting đ
Iâm 28 & child-freeâŠ. You are definitely not repeating yourself! Itâs so refreshing to just hear you chat and see your amazing travels. Also it is really lovely watching another woman pursue her passions, ambitions, and career â€ïž makes me feel not alone in that! Itâs so cool that now as women we truly have a choice in our path!
35:14 đđđđ made me laugh out loud also very relatable!
ahahahah Alex got me there xx
Hello gorgeous, I donât think Iâve come across a more kind hearted, humble person than you. I just donât get it how people can say anything bad about you, itâs baffling. Having watched your videos for so long now I can truly say you are the sweetest person đ thank you so much for sharing your life with us all, xx best wishes always
47, child free by choice, and proud of it too. I REALLY appreciate people speaking up and standing tall with their decisions. I spent my 20âs and 30âs having the same old conversations about how I would regret it, how I am being selfish, how I am making a mistake. It is SO good to hear it being spoken about - THANK YOU to everyone who does †(and PLEASE repeat yourselfâŠ.!) And sing your swearing songs! â€
So excited for you because I can see that you have 972.... subscribers! Go the mill! Not that is about the subs but hey a nice round number lol. Thank you for coming back week after week I love your vids! x
Haha I feel the same! Quality over quantity but that 1 mil being in sight is soooo exciting! xx
I appreciate your perspective and being genuine and authentic in your lifestyle choices. Itâs not redundant when itâs your life and itâs a common topic amongst women and extremely relatable â€thank you for sharing because a lot of people arenât as brave to put it out there
33, happily married, childfree. Thank you for talking about this. Crazy that in this day and age, people still assume that because you are female, you should have kids. Have been a silent watcher of your channel since 2014. Thank you for the great contentâ€
Your makeup with the white dress looks STUNNING
I've been watching your vlogs for years. You're one of my favorite content creators. Sending lots of love â€
Ahhh thank you for being here babe! xx
Agree! Love her blogs too! đ
Your makeup is stunning, Victoria! I've enjoyed your content for years. Keep up the great work!
Iâm a Mum of 3 and I love your Vlogs and social posts. Your content is high end and the perfect escapism and inspiration for everyday life. Just keep being you lovely xxx
I donât like to just watch people that mirror my thoughts. I like watching people that are different than me. I am 43 with two basically grown children. I got married at 20, and had my first child at 22. Iâve been a housewife for 17 years and love it. I think thatâs what makes the world wonderful is all this beautiful variety.
I am 27 and in a happy relationship, we want to remain child free and itâs so refreshing to hear someone talk about it as a positive! I have watched you for years and as soon as you mentioned that you were childfree by choice, I felt very validated. I really appreciate you talking about something so personal đâ€ïž
I have followed you since the beginning and am your motherâs age but really wanted to say you are an inspiration to young and older ladies alike in your work ethic, personal relationships and style. You are beautiful and I adore everything you do. Lots of love and respect â€đ
No mean comments here - Just let the good in and mentally block those others.
My husband and I are child free and we donât think we missed out on anything. All of our friends are all scrambling trying to pay for college, weddings and grandchildren. We laugh as we go travel the world and will never have to worry about those things. Each to their own. Itâs everyoneâs choice so nobody should give you a hard time for what you and your husband choose.
You are not boring, not repeating yourself and CZcams is my favourite channel too x
Iâm 44, married, child-free and I find it relatable when you talk about itâŠ. I think it helps too for younger viewers because you can definitely find yourself at a time when your friends are all having babies and it can feel like you are drifting apartâŠ. Reminders of how fulfilling life is without kids are important at those times. I definitely had that a few times in my 30s but so happy now â€
46:00 can I just say that this camera footage is just mega beautiful, feels so HD and crispâ€âŠalso this dress colour suits you so well!
As someone who is choosing to be childfree and starting to navigate the world of peer pressure and people questioning my opinions, you speaking about this has helped me so much, you articulate it so well and I'm sure there are many of us who appreciate current and any future times you want to bring it up and keep the conversation relevant. In an age where people still question what others do with their own bodies, having voices to support us is so important to know we're all in a similar storm.
I love the Merit mascara also. Thank you for showing the new Merit products, so nice.
Hiya Victoria whamich tan remover/exfoliator do you use for the few days before reapplying your tan? I am in that stage now and feel I could be using something better x
I think its amazing that u talk about being childfree. I am a parent but i think its great to be an example for those u donât want to be or are questioning having children. I think many people just feel like itâs the ânext stepâ in life and donât seriously think about if itâs what they want. Societal norms can push people to do things especially when they are young that they can regret. I think this is a topic that should b spoken about by more people. Im loving ur chatty videos, thank uâ€đ
Hi! You are such a sweet person , you make me laugh when you are packing those shoes ⊠like me , everything goes well untill shoes comes around đ đâ€ïž
I love you Vic. Your doing great. Watched you for years and years and personally i find it very interesting to hear a different perspective. I have two girls but i also enjoy hearing you talk about your perspective on life! What ever that might be. â€
I love hearing about all your beliefs, values a s principles regardless of if I'd choose to live that way myself. It kinda helps to give me perspective and expand my awareness as I move through my own unique reality and experience.
Thank you Victoria, I needed this because I'm 32 and I'm undecided, I'm 3 years post divorce after DV and now in a very happy and healthy relationship and I'm happy just living. So thank you for openly talking about it, I wish more people did!
Hi Victoria, With your skin, are you checking the ingredients in your skincare/makeup products? There are websites (acne clinic nyc is one) where you can copy and paste the ingredients in your products and the website will tell you whether the ingredients are likely to cause breakouts. Just a thought! â€ïž
Iâm 49 & child free. When I first started therapy I said I never wanted kids & my therapist challenged me on this. So I explained that as an introvert, I need a lot quiet time to recharge myself everyday, I knew that if I had kids, you canât (unless you are a monster) say âkids, donât talk to me/come near me/make a sound for the next six hours,â and because you canât do that, I would very quickly come to resent, if not actually hate those children. I donât want any child to grow up in an environment like that, so the best thing I could do for âmy kidsâ was never having them. We ended the conversation with my therapist saying that I absolutely should not have had kids. I get to be a huge part of my friendsâ kids lives and I absolutely adore that, I can be my best self for them and then go home and crash. Itâs the best of both worlds for me.
Live the life you want Victoria, it only belongs to you.
I've followed you for years but never commented, but I wanted to say how much I admire your ability to carry on producing such wonderful content in the face of persistent and ridiculous negative comments. You're an inspiration â€
It always seems like such a double standard to me when someone who is child-free by choice mentions it once or twice and (most) people with children, it's just standard to talk about and discuss their kids all the time. Why? Because they're a part of their life! The same goes for being child-free, so why not bring it up from time to time? It's almost like people think it's a "dirty" word or something that doesn't need to be mentioned.
It's not really fair.
This
There's definitely a taboo about it which for me is another reason to chat about it when the topic opens up! Especially if it means someone else ends up feeling more comfortable in this space too :) xx
I have kids and Iâm also here for your child free content-I love it and you should never apologise for your choices! You are fantastic and a breath of fresh air xxxxâ€
Iâm 28, child free and have been single for 8 years. I absolutely love my life! Itâs nice being able to talk openly about our different paths in life â€
You are such an inspiration to me â€â€
I personally donât relate to childfree life, Iâve got three kids that really fulfill me but I do believe that having kids is not for everyone and people should really think this decision through. Thank you for speaking on that. However, I would be interested in your reasons for not having children if itâs not too personal maybe you can share it in the future. Have a great day! đ
the cut on this video was absolutely amazing, loved it
Yey love your vlogs and content x
Ahhh thank you lovely! Hope you enjoy xx
I am here for the honesty, the fashion, and the child free conversations! Keep on! Also, you looked fabulous all through this video (as always). â€
Hi, absolutely love your channel, thank you so much for being so inspiring. What Foundation brush are you using to apply and blend the Merit foundation stick?
I absolutely loved this vlog! Keeping it real and relatable as always. â€
You could get the wedding dresses shrink wrapped and boxed. Then theyâd be boxed and you could put them anywhere so they do t get ruined
Flipping heck Victoria that bowl with the salad in was bigger than you hahahaha made me laugh xx
Hahaha I know when it came to the table I said blimey out loud!! xx
Victoria, I never get bored of listening to you talk! The haters can hate, but you'll always be great! I love all your looks on the Valentino trip, especially the make up on the last night. Viva Victoria!!!â€â€â€
Victoria! I donât usually comment but had to. pls donât ever stop talking about being child free. Itâs so refreshing. I am 35, happily married and child free. Love hearing you talk about it and owning it. I do, but with someone with your platform it really does wonders hearing it out loud from someone else who is the same. It should be a conversation not taboo! Itâs nothing against the people with children, itâs just having your own choices. Atm if anyone asks why, i just say because we realised we donât have to. Keep owning it đ«¶đŒ thank you!
I absolutely love all of your vlogs and content Victoria! Iâve been an avid watcher since an old friend of mine and one of your cousins recommended starting to watch you when you first started and have followed you since then and even now that Iâm in Melbourne. Iâm married and have a child but I love watching your content and having an escape for an hour from mum life so thank you!
Good for you. Iâm a mother of two boys, and my oldest which is 25 has said from an early age that he does not want any children. I respect his choice 100%. I actually donât see myself as a grandmother. Most of my friends are and I get the eye rolls because I donât crave to be a grandmother. What ever works for you and as long as you are happy thatâs what matters.. much love to you 3. â€
Hi Victoria â€got to say absolutely love your videos. Always super entertaining and full of great content and fun , fun fun xx†canât wait for the next chapter xx
Ok I've been following you for a while but I didn't realize you wanted to be child-free - I just figured you were. Thank you for mentioning this. We are also child free and undergo lots of societal pressures from coworkers, friends, and family, so I find this comforting to know that there are others like us. â€â€â€â€
I am havenât watched your video yet but I am seeing a lot of comments about being childfree by choice, and I will say as a mom of two kids, I GRAVITATE TO CONTENT ABOUT CHILDFREE FREE STUFF OR JUST VLOGGERS LIKE YOU VICTORIA, I need a break, CZcams watching time for me is my break and I canât watch mommy/pregnancy bloggers stuff it triggers me so much and makes my anxiety go through the roofđą And this is no personal attack on those people at all, I just canât be in mommy mode 24/7 I have unfortunately unsubscribed from many people who have gotten pregnant and have had babies just because I do not want to be reminded of my current stresses in my life. I had my first kid at 23 and my last kid at 30 and am now 35, I just donât want to be pulled into family/mommy/pregnancy vlogs, itâs been a tough transition to motherhood for me and I really donât want to bring in more stresses and also finally I am myself again or getting closer to my true self with therapy and the gym life, so please to all childfree people out there, you do you please, enjoy your lifeâ€
Wonderful vlog. Looked like a fabulous trip to Rome with all the goodies you received. So many of the people that leave negative comments are just jealous of what you have and who you are. Thank you so much for sharing.
I've also had the most puffy eyes I've ever had with hay-fever recently xx
For those who get offended so easily, do they live in the real world? Sometimes we have become so sensitive that we are stopping to live the real world. Victoria, you don't need to apologize, your videos are very classy, elegant and always appropriate. You don't need those who easily are offended. Carry on with your wonderful videos. Luv them all!
Beautiful as always thank u đ
You are unique you do what makes you happy. Your job is not to make others happy, if you do youâre destined for a lifetime of misery. â€
As so many others have said, I relate to you and your content which is why I love watching your channel, I just canât relate to people who talk about having children all the time but thatâs fine, the beauty of having so much choice online is we get to choose what content we consume! đđ
I have a four month old but I love your content and Iâm living vicariously through you! â€
Thanks for a lovely vlog †I appreciate the way you address criticisms. It's good that you aren't insensitive to people but also don't take yourself too seriously. We all can slip up and say the wrong thing. We don't always have the ability to edit ourselves before speaking. You are a kind person who cares.
on behalf of all normal Scottish people...... we dont care if its lakes or lochs. we are happy you loved our beautiful scotland
Thankyou lovely :) xx
Oh yaaay, a good one before bedtime! â€đđ
Yeahhh a long one! xx
Iâm happily married with 3 children and 2 step, so canât relate to child free content but it does fascinate me to hear about women that have decided to be child free and reasons behind it, good for you đđŒ Have you always felt this way? Iâm the same age as you, so itâs great to see a different side of life through your eyes. X
Thanks for the phone tutorial especially for your elderly viewers! I think itâs admiral that you are promoting âchildless by choiceâ. I felt like I needed to constantly justify our lack of children, which I imagine was all in my mind, partially because we waffled a bit. I have chronic health issues and I felt like I couldnât do my best as a mother and that my husband would be constantly stressed and nearly a single parent. It is difficult and you will loose some friends because they become so involved with children and parents of children. In our family and friend groups we are of a tiny handhold of âchildless by choiceâ. Bottom line, give Victoria props for knowing that you can have a beautiful life with or without children. I canât imagine how often as influencers she is asked when sheâs getting pregnant. I heard this question asked of another influencer the other day in a live and it made me want to scream!
I appreciate the repetitiveness đ i think its a sign of authenticity
Victoria, Iâm glad you talk about whatever you want to it is your channel. And we love watching you and listening to what you have to say. I, like you choose not to have children and glad you talk freely and openly about it. I love my dog and consider her my baby as you love Boe and treat him like your fur baby. I think knowing oneself and what you want and what you donât want is better than making choices to please others or because thatâs âwhat society says weâre supposed to doâ and being unhappy. Youâre a kind and genuine person and no one should ever make negative comments towards your beliefs. I just want to know your secret on how you have so much energy in traveling so much and always on the go. đ. Youâre a hard worker, smart, beautiful, funny, and a great role model. Thank you for sharing your trip to Tuscany! đâ€ïž
Love Merit. Great for a minimalist curated make up routine.â€â€
It's just so fantastic! Perfect travel makeup too with such versatile products xx
The best content creator always inspiring me to keep going no matter how tough it is . Sending love â€
