He participated in the same contest as Jessie J and KZ Tandingan, Singer 2018 when Jessie won and he won 2nd place. He also participated and won Singer 2020. Also known as Hua Hua, he's an amazing Chinese artist, great performer ,he's a very versatile artist. He's a singer, rapper, songwriter, composer, he can go from pop rock to Chinese opera and can deliver all kind of emotion.
Since before he debuted when he participated in a survival contest Superboys( he won ), he didn't fit in the line of what the public wants to see or listen to (Chinese public is more into ballade), and he didn't want to fit in it. The disapproved idol, he doesn't really do things by the book or as teachers would teach and he said his first vocal teacher said he was their worst student ever. He sees his voice as an instrument that allows him to express his feelings and emotions.
He also said that singing by the book it doesn't allow him to convey his emotions. He was named alien or martian by the people, but now he is one of the most famous artists in China. His fans are named Martians.

If you're going to react to another of my favorite song from them "Hey Barbara" look for the official music video, I promise you it's really cool. Another one is "Come Inside of My Heart" on the bus. They really are that good but unfortunately the lead singer Unique (that's his name) left the band 2 years ago to pursue a solo career. The remaining original 3 remained but more recently (last week) they announced that they will be on indefinite leave from the music industry.

I really haven't heard of those incredible Pinoy bands you are reacting, they are really good. I think the lack of support financially and promotion didn't made OPM burst out in the world stage. Now, P-Pop group SB19 is paving the way for the next Filipino artists to be noticed internationally.
I think Record Labels and Companies in the Philippines aren't really pouring money to invest to these amazing talents. SB19 is under a Korean company based in the Philippines, they started a competition in the Music and Entertainment Industry in the country.

Yes they are very young. The base guitarist, blaster is only 20 years old, the main singer and the lead guitarist are both 22 years old, the drummer is 24. Listen to âhey barbaraâ, the base is beat.

They are really young when they entered the competition as solo musicians in eat bulaga (the longest running noontime show in the philippines) their segment is called music hero. 1st round they made young guitar players compete, then the drummers, vocalists and so on and so forth. They made young musicians compete with each other itâs a really good segment of the show haha. Then all the winners/soloist were combined to become a band, and this is them now.
You can check out the showâs segment. Youâll surely be blown away there were lots of really really young talented kids who entered it.Itâs eat bulaga music hero.

Actually, indie bands, rock bands, folk bands and all the other bands dominates the PH. When you check out old OPM songs, most of them are from bands. Just like that "Rainbow" cover by Khel, it was originally from a band called the South Border.

And I'm a big fan of IVOS so I would really recommend you guys to check more stuff from them!
Also the main vocalist of this song, the one Efra kept on calling a star, his name is Unique Salonga. He is now a soloist, he left the band about two years ago and now IVOS is a trio. Anyways, Unique got good songs too! Hope you'll check 'em out someday. Glad yall like this one!

These kids are very talented. They write their own songs, they are brilliant musicians. Their lead guitarist is very lit.
All four members are sons of professional musicians who passed on their love of music to their sons. Believe it or not the bass player's dad named him Zildjian after the cymbals brand.
i'm from philippines and they were one of the good bands out there and basically one of my faves and i've seen them live in a concert and tbh they make u feel like home because of their music and the vocals are just insane. thanks for appreciating filipino music! âĄ

I really love how you both appreciate original Filipino music (OPM) and thereâs not a time where i feel like youâre both faking your reactions regardless of whether you like or not which makes your reaction videos so worth watching. PS. the lyrics for MUNDO (which means world) is also very good (almost poetic in the Filipino sense--the phrase "aking sinta" means "my love/ my darling" and "sinta" is sort of an old endearment word that is not commonly used nowadays) and that's why us Filipinos loved this song and group, they were fresh but at the same time nostalgic.
