I was at this concert at Earls Court in London and nothing, NOTHING has ever come close to matching it. Just magical. This was the third and last song in the encore and I was standing there, tears of happiness running down my face but also of sadness because I knew I’d never see them perform a full live concert again - end of an era, end of one of the most important books of my life. This tour played to 5.5 million people in 68 cities; each concert gathered an average 45,000 audience. Three stages leapfrogged around North America and Europe, each 180 feet (55 m) long and featuring a 130-foot (40 m) arch resembling the Hollywood Bowl venue. All in all, the tour required 700 tons of steel carried by 53 articulated trucks, a crew of 161 people and an initial investment of US $ 4 million plus US $ 25 million of running costs just to stage.

the album "The Wall" tells the story of Pink. Pink is completely freaked out and out of his mind. Therefore, sounds try to demonstrate this sensation. pink is a kind of ego altar from Waters. your anxieties, fears.

My employer (Labatt Breweries of Canada) was the sponsor for the three shows in Montreal, they were offering employees discounted tickets, in addition to a draw of a few dozen tickets I bought mine for May 23 and I won those (a pair) for May 24.

I have been going to gigs for over 45 years. Not one has surpassed this one. I feel immensely fortunate to have gone to one of those nights ( they performed for two weeks at Earls Court). I had seen Pink Floyd perform The Wall (again at Earls Court) in 1980 and that was spectacular but it never came close to the Pulse concert. They were the greatest live band ever.

I'm Italian and I was lucky enough to see the concert live in Venice in 1989, an unforgettable experience. Run like hell" has always closed PF concerts. Ciao from Italy.

I love to watch my Georgian brothers react on music videos, but my favorites are Pink Floyd reactions. I was lucky enough to see the Pulse tour in the different states on the west coast. Best concerts I ever saw in my 64 years.

I never got to see Floyd to my great regret. I did see Dave Gilmour do a solo show (surprise guest? Roy Harper!) He was great of course.

They were pioneers in the visual part of concerts and of course They are one of the best bands ever, musically they were almost perfect and in my opinion with Dire Straits and a few others They created the most brilliant songs ever.
