The "My son, my son" verse makes me think that the Reds knew all along, somewhere deep in their hearts. Darrow's mom for sure did. And of course, the reaper parts foreshadow the Rising of the Reaper. Man, I love this series and you made it a great song.
not to discredit his work in this as it is amazing, but the song was put into sound by the audiobook which probably helped alot

This tone is how the Narrator for the audio books sings it and its so good. I love that the song is so slow and somber, it adds so much more to the story.
This guy could honestly play Darrow in a movie or tv adaptation.

Your tone of voice is perfect and that you just used a guitar to accompany it makes it so intense... made me think of the moment when Darrow sang it to Mustang.

I don’t have a tab, but here’s some rough help to guide you. The guitar is tuned down half a step across the board, and the A section has chords Am G C F, Am G F F. The B section F G Am G F F Am G F. Hope that helps
