Inside Lucas Oil Stadium in 4K: LA Rams vs. Indianapolis Colts 10.1.23

- We travelled to Indianapolis, Indiana to see the Los Angeles Rams play the Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium on October 1, 2023. Luckily the Rams pulled out a win in OT after blowing a substantial early lead! What a nail biter--the fans were on their feet and the atmosphere was electric!
It was amazing to watch this game from the 4th row of the stadium (Section 109, Row 4, Seats 17-18, on the visitor side). Great views, and the entire stadium was easy to walk around. Lucas Oil Stadium is a beautiful and well-designed building, and it was a pleasure to watch a game there. The roof was closed for this game since it was over 80 degrees outside, and the indoor temperature was really pleasant.
The Colts fans were so wonderful-really friendly and so into the game, but not aggressive at all. I didn’t even hear any swearing around us! We’d be overjoyed to have the opportunity to watch another game here. Hope you enjoy the video! - Sport

Indeed! Puka is just incredible, I’m so glad the Rams drafted him! In Cooper’s absence he’s been a difference maker. I can’t wait to see them both on the field vs. the Eagles!
I'm a Colts season ticket holder. I'm glad you enjoyed the game and the stadium! We always welcome anyone and everyone, even opposing fans. I'm glad that you were treated kindly and with respect. Some stadiums are almost dangerous for opposing fans.
Thank you so much! It really was an incredible experience, and we still would have enjoyed ourselves even if the Rams had lost. I though SoFi was pretty awesome, but Lucas Oil gives it a run for its money!
We’re Rams season ticket members and we’ve seen some stuff at SoFi. I think we’re a pretty welcoming bunch, but there are always some fans who just can’t seem to behave. Many of the opposing fan bases who visit SoFi have been pretty awful, but I will say that the 49ers fans were better this season 😅 Eagles fans this Sunday, though…😵
I was at the game this past weekend (as a browns fan) and I was blown away by the hospitality and kindness shown by the colts fans. Thank you so much. Colts are my new #2 team for that reason. Also the song they play when the Colts score a TD is awesome
great video! I flew from hawaii with family to watch my first ever NFL game. Ive been a colts fan since i was a kid and i never though i would be watching a home game ever let alone having a cousin playing on the team. The whole experence was just mind blowing for me the energy the people and the stadium just beautiful. We were sitting straight across from you on the oppisite side. My cousin was nice enough to get us seating in the lower suites what an experence! Even tho we lost that game I had a great time, indianapolis is so beautiful if i didnt love the ocean so much i would definitely moved there. Thank you for sharing the video ALOHA!!!!!!

You will never want to sit in regular seats again after having a suite experience, though 😂. Lucas Oil is such a nice stadium, and that is coming from a Rams season ticket member who gets to go to all the home games at spectacular SoFi Stadium! The energy at Lucas Oil in the second half and in OT was through the roof! The only time I’ve heard it louder in a stadium is at SoFi when the Rams beat the 49ers to win the NFC Championship and go to the Super Bowl! I hope this will be the first of many NFL games you attend. There’s nothing like being there in person 😀

Good morning Ellabelitta🌞great win but as you said it should’ve been this close, great for watching a football game and yes the Colts fanbase was 👍🏻 so after the Rams 2nd touchdown my wife came to the the man cave and said, OMG was that her screaming🤔I said yes I believe that was Ellabelitta yelling. My wife has never met you but she’s heard you on your videos, and as I was watching the video she heard you yelling and she that was her🤣🤣yes I thought they were going to blow it, I kept saying to myself that I can see the way this ends, Matt Gay kicking a 56 yard FG with time ending😖now we have 3 home games and if we can go 2 out 3 that would be huge, we’re not there yet but the signs are and especially if we draft smart and sign a handful of impact players. Hi John, thank you so much for watching! That's hilarious, I'm sure your wife did hear me on the broadcast because they had a huge set of microphones very close to where we were sitting! She's got great ears if she can pick my voice out, but as usual I was loud AF, lol! That game started off so well but I never felt like it was in the bag, and look at what happened! I'm so glad that they were able to come back and get a victory in OT. Thank goodness that Stafford was able to gut it out and Puka is as good as he is!

Yes I know your voice, but I was surprised because she picked it up quickly, and she wanted to watch the game with me and I said, I’ve watched the last two games with you and we lost so I’m going Lone Ranger today. But you know what they say about a wife, she hears and sees everything 🤣🤣yes Stafford gutted it out hopefully that hip pointer doesn’t get worse because they are painful, and we get Coop back🤗🤗McVay has to incorporate the run consistently in order for the offense to be successful, and Kevin Dotson at RG was huge🤔thank god the Steelers traded him to us for basically pittance😉
Im from Indianapolis but grew up a Rams fan. I go to a few colts games a year just because there’s nothing better than going to an NFL game but I never miss the Rams when they come here considering it’s not very often because of opposite conferences. I thought I was gonna have a heart attack towards the end of the game. 😂 But glad to hear you had a great experience in Indy! I went to Sofi in 2021 when we played the Seahawks, the game that got moved to Tuesday night. I’ll never forget it. I don’t think anything compares to Sofi, however Lucas Oil is up there too. Colts fans in general are pretty cool to opposing fans. Except the ones that know me personally. But that’s all in fun though. 😂 It was a great win though. HORNS UP!! GO RAMS!! 🐏

I agree, there's nothing like seeing NFL games in person, and I feel very lucky to be able to attend all of the Rams games at SoFi, which is just a spectacular stadium. This particular game probably shaved a couple of years off my life, but it was such a great experience! We loved how easy it was to stay near the stadium and walk there for the game, and how many options there were for people who didn't even have tickets to join in on the fun (the Touchdown Zone right outside the stadium). It's all so accessible and people were SO nice. I was also super impressed at the loyalty of the Colts fans. Someone told me the Colts hadn't won a home game in something like a year, and yet that stadium was packed with Colts fans who were cheering so loudly for their team. It was practically deafening in OT! I And then when they didn't win, Colts fans just quietly walked towards the exits and even saw us in our Rams gear and told us it was a good game. No one talked any ish and I didn't see any fights. What a fantastic experience. I would gladly fly out from LA and do it all over again. Go Rams! 💙🐏💛
I was also at the game and completely agree with you. The people and the stadium in Indy are fantastic. SoFi has always been my #1 but Lucas Oil Stadium is giving it a huge run for its money.

That’s awesome that you were also at this game. What an experience! Damn, it got loud! Lucas Oil Stadium is really fantastic, and it was so nice to chat with Colts fans sitting around us and enjoy the friendly atmosphere.

I think you’ll be high up enough to see over the players, but they’ll certainly be in your field of view all day and you may find yourself watching the people on the sidelines! It’s pretty cool to be so close to the players and coaches and to see their expressions and interactions.
