    I remember the lady who faked being kidnapped to get out of being married. Jennifer Wilbanks. So I looked it up to see what her punishment was.
    After pleading guilty to a felony count of making a false statement, Wilbanks was sentenced to two years of probation, 120 hours of community service, and mandatory mental-health counseling. Wilbanks was also ordered to pay the city of Duluth $13,250 and the sheriff's office $2,550 to help cover the costs incurred while they searched for her.
    If Juicy had pleading guilty instead of the theatrics he possibly could've avoided jail time.

    He was trying to incite hatred and violence toward his political enemies, not by exposing real deplorable content but by fabricating a hate crime and using racial and ideological tensions for self-aggrandizement and trying to entrench a stereotype onto a certain group of people. If the people you don’t like are really as deplorable as you believe maybe it should be really easy to find deplorable content instead of fabricating it.

      @ WOW to "deserve violence". You know that over half of all homicides are committed by BPOC right? And that BPOC murder over double the number of YT people as the other way around. Table 43a & Table 6 expanded homicide data if you need receipts. We saw how Nick Sandmann and the Covington Catholic school kids at the pro life rally were treated. Interestingly enough very little attention was given to the real hate group, The Black Hebrew Israelites, that taunted them. That's the group that assassinated Dr. King's mom among other crimes like shooting up a ✡ deli is Jersey. I think it's funny in a tragicomic way that you dolts claimed that Trump would destroy the economy and get us into WWIII. The economy was great and he started no new wars. Then you geniuses put this decrepit war hawk into office. GOOD JOB BUDDY! 👍But hey Trump is a xenophobic (Wife and mother are foreign born), homophobic (Literally kissed Rudy Giuliani in drag on the lips during a skit.), racist (Dated a biracial model for 2 years), sexist ( Hired a female engineer to oversee the construction of Trump Tower at a time when women were not given opportunities like that.). Oh and there are hundreds of other hate hoaxes chronicled on websites created just to curate these incidents. They tend to happen around election time, because sheep like yourself are so easy to herd. Meanwhile I am on here listening to Aba and Preach because I enjoy their takes on a lot of subjects. I'm looking forward to the day you call them Uncle Toms for saying something unapproved by you. The Left cannot see what they have become. But hey I'm sure that Monica Cannon-Grant appreciates your donation to the cause. What exactly did Trump supporters do again? I know that they were attacked for wearing the MAGA hats, but what did they do? Meanwhile BLM/Antifa has a body count.

    Drunk drivers get punished even if no one was hurt, because it's only by chance no one was. Just because a particular case had no victim doesn't make it a victimless crime. A victimless crime is something like drug use or prostitution, where everyone involved agrees to it. "Victimless crime" is one of those terms that gets used incorrectly too often and no one cares to properly define it.

    • @evelynwaugh4053
      @evelynwaugh4053 Před 2 lety +15

      Maybe we should just toss that phrase completely. If a crime has no downside, it shouldn't be a crime. Society in general can be the victim of someone's prohibited behavior, i.e. neighborhoods less safe, wholesome, or secure. Drug addicts are horrible parents and so down the road society suffers because their kids are messed up. It's a rare crime that doesn't affect others adversely. I can't really think of one offhand.

Whether there's a victim or not can be entirely situational imo and many laws are in place because people COULD be victimized like prostitution, dui, illegal possession of just about anything, etc, but there's isn't a victim each time the crime is committed.

    False accusations deserve harsher sentences, especially if the false accusation directly harms someone. For example, if you falsely accuse someone of rape and tarnish there reputation, they should be able to sue you for every cent of your money. In addition, the perpetrator of the false accusation should get a third of the jail time the victim of there accusation would have gotten. On top of those punishments if the victim of the false accusation spends any time in jail, the perpetrator should serve 10 times the amount of time they spent in jail!!
    EDIT: The only issue with my belief is if the victim of the false accusation gets imprisoned, the harsh punishment will decrease the likelihood of the perpetrator coming forward with the truth. So on top of what I already said there would have to be an implementation of some form of reduced sentence if the perpetrator came forward with the truth. I really struggle brainstorming ideas for this where the perpetrator will be justly punished while at the same time be willing to tell the truth. Do you guys have any Ideas??

    • @Shininku
      @Shininku Před 2 lety +23

      There's a difference between someone who told the truth but the case was dismissed for lack of evidence and the cases where the person admits that they lied. Because I'm sure at this point, we've all seen the petty cases where the false accuser literally admits that they lied because they either hated the other person (like the woman that told her children for years that their father molested them) or they feared public accountability (the girl who said she was raped because she didn't want her parents to know she had sex). I used those two for examples because I think Aba and Preach did a video on both of them at some point, so more people are probably familiar with those cases over others. But yes, I agree, there should be at least half-sentence of the crime as punishment for outright LYING and trying to ruin, and in many cases successfully ruining, someone's life. That father had like 15 years stolen from being a father and public hatred, including losing his job and such; while the boys lost their scholarship and reputation. Because as it stands, if you've got the extra money for lawyers, there's no downside on the accuser's end; because people don't punish and shame them the way they do their unfortunately, ACTUALLY INNNOCENT, victims do.

    According to Ms. Tina Knowles he shouldn’t have to be sentenced at all due to people of other races being sentenced to less time for more severe cases or not at all. I think we should be pushing for accountability for all not he got off so I should too. There would be chaos 🤷🏾‍♀️

      I hate when people use that reasoning. Just because a person of one group got away with it at some point in time doesn’t mean everyone else should too; anyone who commits a crime should be sentenced accordingly, regardless of race, gender, etc.

      i agree with you, but she has a point if the woman who made false R-word charges againstr chris brown don't get sentenced to do time! and others it would actually prove that justice system is not equal, which it has to be, so just like you said everybody should be prosecuted, however if not that then we don't have to prosecute anybody, which will tare the whole society down if people can abuse the justice system as a weapon, but it seems both sides are wrong.
