Note: I didn't mention this in the video, but having a team equal to or stronger than a premium no-sustain setup is incredibly valuable. This detail makes Robin's value skyrocket since its like playing with a permanent triple harmony team's worth of damage while having the comfort of a sustain unit.

I actually liked using Tingyun with Robin. Tingyun's skill is used in a main dps, and her Ultimate goes to Robin as the damage bonus is not waisted (adds up to Robin's bonus attacks)
3:56 - Lynx doesn't provide Taunt for Harmony units, only to Destruction and Preservation, March 7th on the other hand does + she performs Follow Up attacks.

The Robin value is insane, that is like 30% more damage than my LL (I'm also a 1%, but with E0S1 and speed boots, at 3k atk). Luckily I got a free monthly supply pass from a web event (idk which one) so I hope I will get her at the end of her banner.
With Yunli being announced as a physical destruction character with FUA, Robin might be a great support for her in the future.

Yes! Robin is a universal support with a bonus FuA synergy. If you struggle with ER even with HuoHuo, you can give HuoHuo QuidProQuo and it should solve the issues.
From my experience, Sparkle, RM, and Robin all provide very similar damage buffs in the end. What matters is the extra utilities they provide such as speed, weakness efficiency, etc.
Interesting that he gets to use his skills/ults woth already fully stacked lord.

What setup would you recommend if I have access to all the 5 star harmonies and Ting but no HH?
I would recommend not using Robin in the team, instead use Sparkle Tingyun + Sustain/RM
Started playing roughly 3 months ago (Last week of Feb), and the General instantly became my favorite. I built his team with what I have, and made a makeshift Acheron team to carry the other half of two-team contents.
I currently have Sparkle, Robin and Gepard(Fu Xuan about to replace him soon xd) on my team.

1) FX is still very good for JY, though he is good with pretty much every sustain. A significant outlier is HuoHuo who enables double-ults setups which are very powerful, but she offers less sustain and is more difficult to use. I wouldnt worry too much about his sustain, but having a cleanse is a nice QoL.
2) Robin - Sparkle is an amazing combo! Try to make sparkle act twice before Robin Ults so your JY can sustain his ultimate from his skill's energy.
3) Slow JY is his best setup! You shouldn't need a lot of speed on Sparkle to make it work either. You want to go [Sparkle > JY > Sparkle > JY > LL]. It may be more difficult if you use JY's ult on his first action as it makes the LL faster and harder for sparkle to out speed! Try to save JY's ult for his second action per LL.
4) I HIGHLY RECOMMEND dropping the crit damage chest. Due to JY's damage distribution in the number of LL hits, he averages his total damage over crit rate. This means every 10% crit rate you are missing is a permanent -1 LL stack (because non crits do literally no damage). Dropping 60-70 crit damage for 30-35 crit rate is 100% worth it and will make your LL hit a lot harder in the end. I recommend a final crit rate of ~95%+ after buffs to maximize your value!

Seeing your videos recently and I've been asking myself how much does the e1 really change the character. My JY is surely worse than yours, but it still does the job so I'm good with that, also because I'm not chasing 0 cycles runs and other stuff. But one thing I sure noticed is that your lightning lord hits some crazy numbers, like in this video getting 330k on a single target LL. I am pretty sure I dont get even close at these numbers, but I'm also not sure if JY's e1 impacts on a single target follow up. For sure though i think that in another one of your videos, where you 0 cycle MoC12, you got like almost 1m damage on a 2 target LL. Even if it was a sparkle-RM-yukong buffed JY, I'm curious how much of that damage is inflated by the e1 multipliers and how much the LL could manage to get without it. Not flaming or complaining, just curiosity, since for sure you are more competitive than me and have much more experience with the character than me.
E1 is a bit complicated in its wording, but all it does is double the splash damage of the LL hits.
LL deals 66% Single Target and [25% of ST%] to adjacent targets for each hit. With E1, this changes to 66% Single Target and [50% of ST%] to adjacent targets. It does nothing in single-target gameplay. In 2-target fights, you gain about 150% worth of multiplier, which is quite considerable.
If you want to buff damage though, I recommend going for a support e1 like RM, Robin, etc because those buffs will impact JY's ult and skill which make up around half or more of his overall damage.
First: note that enemies and external buffs can artificially inflate numbers. Common examples are the Sanction Robot Fish which give 20% def shred, the Meme Dinosaur which gains 50% vulnerability when broken, and the MoC buff which applies various buffs (20% increased damage or something this time).
The 900K nuke was a combination of tons of screenshots supports, the Meme's 50% vulnerability, e1 value bouncing on that vulnerability, and the MoC Buff's bonus damage.
If you already have the "right setup," but are struggling to hit high numbers, the reason is most likely support investment. I never realized how much of an impact support builds make until I tried to build them, and it really is a huge difference. Flat damage buffs like LC superimpositions and traces are significant, but more importantly is speed. More speed = more actions = more resource (energy, toughness break, etc). You could have the #1 JY build, but if your supports are mid then you will struggle to compare to other setups.
I recommend building your JY to around 3k atk, 95%+ crit rate (after buffs), and 150%+ crit damage, then getting some good support setups.

What do you recommend? In my account of all Harmony characters i only have the 4* characters, my JY’s team is Asta, Tingyun and Luocha. Having this in view, for my account is worth it to pull for Robin? Or i wait for a HuoHuo and Sparkle rerun to replace Luocha and Asta?
I recommend you pull sparkle to replace Asta because Robin is difficult to use without HuoHuo, but if you really like robin, you can run Robin, JY, Tingyun, and QuidProQuo Luocha. Robin, TY, and Sparkle are all pretty interchangeable, but Sparkle is the easiest to get value on.
As for sustains, JY really doesn't care. Luocha or even Lynx is fine for him, though having an easy cleanse or anti-CC is a nice QoL (though not necessary). If I had to chose, I would recommend FuXuan/Aventurine for comfort or HuoHuo for damage, but HuoHuo has less sustain and is harder to use.

I dont play any DoT, but as long as you can get uptime on robin's ult, she will make any team very powerful
It's the same notes here. If you have HH she's good, without her she kinda sucks. Her performance is inflated in both MoC and PF because the blessings are both energy related, when the blessings change you'll def feel the energy issues
Edit: sucks relative to limited 5 stars and Tingyun prob, worst Robin is still probably better than the other harmony characters

Not really. She gets her ult up fast enough on wave-1 to not need it and you will not likely act twice in a cycle after her 90spd counter acts.
It may be possible, but otherwise you forfeit a lot of atk%, buffs, and damage for no gain.

I have not tried Robin with DHIL yet, but it should work. If she gives any extra action breakpoints, then it might be super op, but if not, Robin is likely a sidegrade to RM. I recommend asking around in the Dan Heng mains reddit
I pulled her until I dried all my saving. Her issue can merely be fixed so easily if dev doesnt so stingy with that energy regen on ally hit... 2 energy,,,, if they make it 5, it def will fix her energy issue in any team comps. Her sign LC is very quirky too, as it lose the ER during ult x-x They really did her dirty with all those restriction lol, while other harmony only suffer behind crit damage/Speed tuning requirement.
But regardless, she is really one of the strongest support in the game with powerhouse buff and damage. Def a must pull if you want more qol in moc/pure fiction.
I think what's more egregious is the 5 energy more on skill. It's so stingy. RM literally gets 5 free when her turn starts and she has a 130 ult. Robin should have been bumped up to 10, especially since she has to spend a skill point to get the benefit. She strong but she's so needy she just sucks without HH or FuA team
Bro giving Robin any type of buff is just ridiculous she will just 200% completely powercreep Ruan Mei lmao, the Robin we got is already so strong if she regen 5 energy instead of 2 she would be able to loop her burst on many more teams making her easily the absolute best support in the game lol

5% ER is neat, but I just like the action advance. It helps get her ult up faster.
The other relic sets aren't super amazing on her anyways

You should be fine running Cogs/Memories on Robin and any good LC on JY. You drop a decent amount of damage by not having the SIg LC, but hitting energy breakpoints is all that really matters

You almost always need robin or Tingyun for energy reasons.
I say Robin is better, but sparkle is much easier and more comfortable to use

My Jing Yuan has literally almost the exact same stats. Just 8 less crit rate. I male up for it with Earthly Escapade. Mine only deals like 300k each LL hit.
8 crit rate is 16CV / 16 crit DMG. Not huge, but noticable.
Though, you should be dealing more damage with Escapade on Robin than with her SiG.
Unsure what's up here. I probably have a bit more talent/build investment in supports

I have a spd of 163 on my Sparkle with 214 crit dmg. I use Tingyun and Fu Xuan aswell. I don't have any buffing supports really. The 9% dmg bonus from Fu Xuan LC She Already Shut Her Eyes I guess counts.
My Jing Yuan has like 340 crit dmg in battle and all lvl 10 talents. I don't have e1 either. So it's just 300k on a single target.

If you feel like it is lacking though, about all the advice I have build-wise is to make sure you are capping 95%+ crit rate on JY. Good luck fellow JY main!
@@nejeritepalace in battle he has over 100% crit rate thanks to the 32% he gets from passive, Fu Xuan, and Earthly Escapade. I'm hoping for a buffing sustainer in the future. After I get Ruan Mei I'll save for one. If I get Ruan she may be all I need for a good 0 cycle potentially since she can pseudo sustain with the delays. Just have to make sure Jing Yuan is breaking fast enough I guess.

Note though: from all my experience, Jing Yuan's setups include Slow LLs which act after the enemies already act once or twice. I don't think I have ever been able to rely on RM sustain in a 0-cycle. You should be able to survive though if you build at least two high-hp supports to tank damage.

It's doing the same amount of damage as...

E2S0 Sparkle
E1S0 Ruan Mei
E0S0 Fuxuan
Difference is he 0 cycled, mine is 1 cycle. So per screenshot is same, but total damage is more.
The teams do similar damage per screenshot, however there is one key difference: my team sustains two JY Ults per cycle.
Each JY ult does ~100k damage (+15k from Robin) which is very significant!
@@nejeritepalace Yeah, after watching your video, I decided to go and test damage myself since I didnt pay attention to how much damage im doing, so it's pretty surprising to see the same numbers comparable to an E2 Sparkle+E1 RM, I have 44% def shred here, then add the fishes explode.
So yours is pure damage and only relied on the fishes.

You should be able to sub in QuidProQuo on HuoHuo if you struggle with Robin's energy

@@Tttrn6657 I would say Robin is better, but you may struggle with her ult uptime without HuoHuo. Robin can replace Sparkle or TY, but RM can't replace TY, and you need to run speed JY to make up for it.

No/maybe in this one MoC. If anything, you need to replace HH with an abundance character on QuidProQuo / or you need to reset for the energy enemy to target Robin.
HH's two Ults generate 64 energy overall for Robin, so making up for that is difficult
Try Robin, Sparkle, Jing yuan and Bronya, crazy team but i want to see in action

U know why Robin TY comp is just a side grade to Sparkle comp in ur test? Using Dance on high spd TY(probaly over 166spd) is way much better than a slow TY with Planetary as it will give her, JY and huohuo a lot more AV(TY could go 4 times in 1 cycle), planetary only better if ur trying to 0 cycle. As TY move alot, she can NA alot to abuse Benediction and Robin dmg. Quid pro on speedy Huohuo will solve Robin problem.
Robin TY comp is alot more about building ur supports rather than JY tbh

@@Krysslander there is a significant difference in JY's performance with or without LC, but you may gain considerably more damage from your current setup by re-allocating your crit ratio into crit rate.
Many people build high crit damage ratios because it looks pretty, but JY's damage averages out over crit rate due to the LL's 10-30hit nature.
This means every 10% crit rate you are missing is at least one less LL stack PERMANENTLY. You currently are missing out on ~3 stacks per LL (not counting lost splash damage) which is a massive damage loss.
I highly recommend dropping upwards of 30%+ crit damage for 15%+ crit rate and then running him with Sparkle LC or with FuXuan to top off your crit rate.

Debatable. I would say from my testing that Robin's teams are the same / maybe slightly stronger or weaker than a premium Sparkle TY HH team.
Not bad at all, she can replace TY or Sparkle easily, but she isn't a massive upgrade.
