I lost my interest in drone just after the FAA began enacting regulations for them. This video was very helpful in quickly getting me back up to speed on what the industry now has to offer. My how far drones have come (not to mention the prices). Anyway, thanks for the great video.

You’ll have to check the Colombian laws
Regulations are just for if you make money off of it. If you're doing it recreationally you don't need the license even though the license is pretty cheap.
I did the same when the FAA regs came out. Thinking about getting back into it, as I still have my gear and a couple of frames that haven’t got built.

I owned a good amount of drones with 100+ hrs of flight time. Mini Se, mini 2, mavic 2, air2s, mavic 3 classic, mavic 3 cinema, and autel evo. My personal opinion is that the Air2s is the absolute best bang for your buck and easy to fly so great for beginners. Especially right now, you can pick one up for $799. You get 5.4k vid 10 bit dlog, hlg, all the flight modes. You could definitely put out professional quality pics and videos.
If you end up wanting to make money with your drone, you won't have to upgrade right away. The only downside is no aperture control, so you need to invest in a variety of ND filters for videos. I swear my air2s is more stable than my mavic 3 when hovering.
The only significant difference in Vid quality between my mavic 3 and my air2s is when it comes to low light and photographing sunsets. At 1/3, the price the difference isn't significant enough for a beginner to notice.
Nice shot of Henderson beach with the mini 3! I live in Destin Florida and trying to get into drones but so hard to pick what one to go with. I’m wanting to do photography and hopefully one day creates income! 🙏🏼

Honestly I think it's the fpv Drone it's not listed here but it's the most exciting of the bunch and also the fastest, and strongest of the bunch. Easily carries flys with a go po attached. 4k hd Camera is good,

Thanks for the info bud I never had one I'm going to use one for fishing but it's in the money situation too so the DJI mini for $300 would that be good enough for getting putting a dropper on it for fishing or can I get a dropper on it?
5:01 It can also record 1080p 60 fps, wich i think is better because most people dont have a 2,7k or more screen in their houses, and the difference between 30fps to 60fps is very notable.
But having higher resolution allows you to downscale video for huge boost in video quality.

tello is about 10 m from personal experince since its over wifi
I have a mini 2 and for what I do (solar projects) its a perfect tool. 20 minutes is about what I get per battery.
Same here got my mini 2 a year ago and it has been doing everything i want it to do except active track..but for a working drone this does as well as the higher price ones and its small and under 150g, got 3 batteries and when i went out to the desert camping i got a quick charger that charges 2 at a time will charge a battery to full in 45 mins so had plenty of air time out there.

Liked the video… seeing if you could help… I’m a surf fisherman and I’m just looking for a 100-200 drone to spot bait fish … don’t need anything crazy or even anything that could go far out only (max 200 yds from the shore, casting distance)… I’m new to the drone world and u seem like u have mastered it already haha…
I’d probably recommend the DJI Mini SE but it’s 300. Not much I’d recommend that would be reliable enough to put out over the water.
I have benched my M2P my Air 2s is my go to drone I bought 6 batteries the smart controller pro and a GPC Hard case for it

Would you be able to tell me what is the best drone for low budget. That works on pixel 6 that you can connect to a drone to get GPS and video and camera. I tried the contixo f22 It did not work

While I can't spend the money just now, the conclusion I'd come to was the DJI Mini is likely the one I'll get. I need something reliable and with a good camera. I've bought two cheap drones, and neither will fly straight, or for more than a couple minutes. I'm done with junk.

I’m looking for drone recommendations that don’t have a camera. I don’t need them drones with fancy expensive cameras. Just one that’s good that can handle some weight. Not like a lot of weight just enough to be able to fry away to drop my bait for when I’m fishing
I didn’t think that the mini SE and the mini 2 were the same except for the bodywork I thought the SE will it being wi-Fi had the mini one electronics inside it rather than the mini 2’s even though uses the mini 2 battery

I live in Florida, Heat, and wind are a concern for me, I wanted to get a mid level drone, the Mini 3 Mini 2s looked solid, however I am afraid of the overheating, and the wind, I dont want to lose my drone taking shots over the intercoastal or the beach. I live on the beach in ft Lauderdale and it's always pretty windy and I have the mini 2 and I'm amazed how it handles the wind especially cause the wind is always blowing in towards the shore so it's fighting the wind going out to sea but when it's time to return home the wind is at it's back

You can but your limited to 22 minutes of flight time per battery.
You'd need an operator to stand by and take controls every few minutes....far easier to set up and rig a wire security camera system

Thanks for the tier descriptions. My dislike of DJI mini is that it requires a high performance phone or tablet. DJI doesn't educate their customers regarding this so I had four weeks of poor performance and customer support exchanges to learn that I needed a phone that costs more than the drone. They lost a customer. (The cost to put the drone into flight is not just the drone.) Also, the "no need for FAA registration" argument is silly, from my experience; just a marketing point.
i use an 100 usd phone...no problemo at all..
@BwayneAnnaLee My point is that they didn't advise before the purchase and diagnosis was an arduous process. Their app would only work occasionally on my LG Stylo phone, or the second phone that they advised me to buy (Samsung S9+). After countless hours (my time), DJI "support" told me to go buy another (third) phone from their special list (it still had the S9+ listed)... Oh, and then they admitted that their advise for the second phone was wrong. Too bad they didn't have the rules of phone performance, specifications and diagnosis of the app failures worked out when I tried (two years ago). I didn't think it should be so hard to get reliable communications between their RC and an Android phone.
You dont need a phone, the mini 1 and 2 can be flown without one, its just preferable to use one

Honestly I only just bought a little toy drone so i could get used to these things but i want one that could be designed to look like a vehicle for my 6 inch figures and have a cockpit for one.

I had to muster up some disciplined control and put money down on precious metals and a few pieces of crypto speculation and put this drone ownership on the back burner. It wasn't too awful tough making the decision, but it was a little painful.....😐

The mini 2 has a range of 300m in a small town. All DJI drones need registered and authorization given from an airport to fly inside my warehouse. Sent it back. Won't use DJI again
