Massive respect to that first guy, I’ve never seen something like this handled in a better way before. He was respectful, friendly, and wasn’t arguing at all, he just wanted to give his point of view and the cops were also very respectful of that. The cops listened and heard what he had to say and overall just an excellent exchange from both parties. Take notes from this incredible gentleman!

Ive seen alot of people who dont know the 2 classes of E-bikes and what separates them. A E-bike were the primary drive is the electric motor those in most places require a plate cause it is a motor bike. The second E-bike is electric assisted were the primary drive is the rider to pedal and the electric motor provids assistance and these dont neeed plates sice its a bicycle with a secondary power adder.

Lost my DL in Virginia(1996) for a 3 yr suspension & got a 49.9cc Moped. Had a fairing but looked like a small motorcycle &
cops would stop me. I never admitted that I could go 45mph after adding a better exhaust but it had am oil injected fuel sys
so I didn't have to premix oil/gas! Got 115 miles per gallon & looked so sporty = when ya can't drive anythings good. peace
The best of 2 stroke small bikes is that you can completely mod them to go fast and they will still look stock besides the custom exhaust.

there's all sorts of ways to get around if ya F#@K'd Up as I did back then? I rode mine for almost 3 yrs & laid it down
two times. Got stopped 5-6 but never a ticket or warning but I knew the Laws & rode safely so I got by. You be safe.
Man the police in the USA are so relaxed when it comes to traffic laws. Riding around with no plate in the UK would likely get your bike seized and crushed. If you get caught speeding you get 3 points straight away and your allowed 12 before you get your licence taken if your over 100mph it's a straight ban ! Over there it looks like you just get a fine and no sort of any licence penalties?
If you just pay the citation (don't fight the ticket in court) you do get points on your license. Once you get over a certain number of points, there will be other penalties such as your license being suspended. The points depend on the infraction and what state you are in. For example, in Arizona, if you accumulate 8 or more points in any 12-month period, you may be required to attend Traffic Survival School (TSS), or your driving privilege may be suspended up to 12 months. You're only allowed to attend "traffic school" once every 12 months. If you are able go to traffic school, there are no points from that violation added to your record. Most 'smaller' traffic violations are 2 points. DUI is 8 points. You can search each state's driving citations and points online.

Funny how some people risks their life over some possible ticket (talking about the last one in the video) It's just money. Why put yourself in danger by driving over 180mph just to get away of a ticket that was around $300 for speeding 20mph too fast. (Think he was clocked around 80 mph)

Depends on the motor you want. Small (400cc) is under 10k (american) medium (600cc) around 9-12k and large (900-1200cc) are around 16-20k. This is for new and used is better cause depending on year and model you can get 1000cc for under 10k

@2:31 - If all cops were that nice, there wouldn't be an escalating war between riders and cops. The reason a lot of guys don't display a plate is because they don't want to deal with cops trying to bother them for stupid stuff like riding a wheelie.
@6:46 The cop here totally admits to harassing people and trying to write them a ticket for anything.... and that's what escalates the ongoing problem between riders and cops.

It truly is..... Lived there over 40 years and the insanity just jept getting worse and worse and I never could understand how people had their heads in the sand about it.... Not only is it difficult to survive there but it's the most depressing place I've ever been.....I moved to the gulf coast in Southern Alabama and it was hands down the best decision I ever made....
