As a former league player i can firmly say she shoots way better then a level 4. Alot of ppl sandbag during the league games to keep their levels down so they have an advantage at the tournaments. On the other hand he also rushed alot of his shots causing him to fall way behind. This was the night to take his time and he played like it was just another league night.🤦🏽
When I played in Vegas on the team, I’m a five and I steamrolled a six and they called me a sandbagger and had people watching me the rest of the tournament
She’s been playing for 20 years… she knows some things. I don’t think she’s sand bagging. I think she’s been shooting a lot of pool lately and is fairly comfortable. More so than he seems to be. I don’t think it’s right to say someone is sand bagging when you don’t know them.
@beckyhumphrey7464 exactly! According to the keyboard warriors, everyone who shoots a good match that looks better than their SL, they are sandbagging. It's utterly ridiculous.
I'm a 4. Sometimes I shoot like a 5, sometimes I shoot like a 3. That's why we are 4's! Inconsistency. You cannot base someone's skill level on one match.
I played in the league for almost 3 years and I went from a level 3 to a level 6 because my intention was to play a good match to the best of my ability. However as time went by I met and played with many seasoned players before and after league matches who were better then me but on league nights they would play their "B" game to keep their levels in check so they can keep their all star team together for tournaments. Im not saying people dont have on or off nights but shes no level 4. Atleast a level 5.
@beckyhumphrey7464 yes she does know a few things after playing for 20 years. How can you be so sure that how to sandbag isn't one of them? There are many shady players in the league that can influence even the cleanest of players to cheat if it means going to vegas or another big tournament. If she has been playing consistently for 20 years then how is she still a level 4? Everyone starts at level 4.🤔 Just saying.
@@beckyhumphrey7464I agree that altho she won, I don't really think she was sandbagging. She was regularly on the wrong side of balls, speed control wasn't good, and seemed to have little ability to play position unless it was natural. With that said, what is somewhat impressive is how a person can play pool for 20 years and still be at a skill level like 4!
They talk about how beautiful and gorgeous that table is but I think it's hideous. The white and blue color scheme make it look more like a baby's toy than a pool table. I would never want something like this. I'd even take that Mt Dew green table from a few years ago over this thing!
It looks like they spray painted plywood really cheap looking…

The referee needs to back up. On many occasions, he waits for the players to dress the ball, and then he walks up as they shoot. If he can't see the table from an appropriate distance, he should not be a referee.
