@ 5:28 is where my husband and I got married . The hospital is where my Granny passed away and where my Pawpaw was air lifted to St. JOSEPH'S hospital and he passed away . I've had a lot of little cousin's that were born at that hospital too . If you turned left at the hospital , went down to the 2nd red light and turned on hwy 138 that's the hwy that my grandparent's lived off of. I heard that Opra had a house over behind/ near Honey Creek . It's behind where my aunt lives , but the last I heard it was empty. No one lives in it . Conyers used to be a great place to raise your family, but it sure has changed a lot since I was little girl. I have a lot of good memories there though . I miss my grandparent's so much . Thank you for sharing this with us . I'm gonna share it with my family and friends on Facebook .
Stayed on broad st in milstead ever summer my dad's from there it was some good timed.Had more family in old Town who moved from the mill neighborhood milstead.
Man that place looks different. Oh boy....i broke down on that road just across from that advanced long before it was there, in the rain, and had to replace my fuel filter. I've spent many hours at that hospital. I grew up in that town.... long before stonecrest mall and oprah telling people to move there. The sandwich shoppe, pawn shop and drug store where there when i grew up. The used to be an army navy store and a card collector store down there on the square. Spent many time in that courthouse too. The ol lil dinky, nancy Quinn library, damn that seems like 100 years ago... times have changed, though. Conyers is a bad place now. I miss the ol days there though. Thanks for the video
My husband is Charles Brown. We both grew up in Stone Mountain , but my husband us a little older than me . He said he remembered hanging out at Pine lake. He wanted me to ask you if you would give your name ? He said, he knew everyone that lived in Pine Lake . He said, I think I know him ? He hung out around there from around 1969 to about 1974 . He's just wondering . We enjoyed your video very much !!
