    Another great video!
The Nexu attacking Gaarkhan at the beginning cannot attack twice in one activation. Since it already attacked the first time, it can’t use the optional attack after pouncing.
Edit: around 12:30 , nobody got wounded so those troopers couldn’t become focused. Wounded means taking enough damage to flip the character card to the wounded side.

I love these videos. The little things like showing the cards involved in attack and defense, the sound effects, and the hero damage trackers all make it super easy to follow.
Unfortunately while there were way less rules mistakes this time around, they were two really major ones that definitely changed the outcome of the game. The Nexu can't attack twice, which means Gaarkhan would have lived and it would be very likely a focused Gaarkhan could have achieved the final objective. Also, the game terms wounded and damaged mean different things. That's a common mistake I think most players make when starting out, but without that focus on them I doubt those Stormtroopers could have wounded Fenn that turn. But mistakes are how we learn, so don't sweat it. Keep up the great work!

Actually the Pounce at 26:18 was played incorrectly, and the elite Nexu should have attacked, so the net result is the same.
Also, agree about the Wounded goof, that was too bad, not sure if it would majorly change things though.

Also, at the very beginning, the Imperial players starts with 0 threat (Preparing the threat and round dial at the beginning of a mission always starts at threat 0 and round 1). There are no special rules giving the Imperial Player a threat of 3 to start this story mission.

I love this game and that it still gets a little love.
There's definitively a challenge when younare trying to do a showcase on your own. This is a 5-player game that can get quite complex.
    Thank you for posting.

This is still my favorite tactical rpg. This game and your presentation oozes so much immersion. I really hope they make more expansions for this game. We really need an Endor theme expansion imho. I wouldn't mind a Mandolorian theme either.

I just started watching the video but noticed that the Nexu attacked twice, which isn't allowed, even with special abilities. If the text contains attack, you can't do it with a regular attack already done.
(I don't know if you want these kinds of rule corrections. If yes, then reply and I'll write a longer comment like in the previous video)
I'm loving the series though, keep up the good work! Or maybe even upload them even more frequently! ^^

That's correct. Non-heroes can only use one action that contains one or more attacks during their activation.

At 9:35; the role was one damage, two surges versus three defense. In the video, you said Jyn does 1 damage to the Probe, but given the three defense, Jyn actually does no damage.

I love this. I started a campaign with a group of my friends a couple months before COVID hit. We got about 4 missions deep before COVID made it virtually impossible. It's nice to watch a new campaign to refresh on the mechanics while we prepare to start up again (and painted too!). Keep up the good work! Being the Imperial is so much work, but when your rebels enjoy themselves, it's all worth it

This is excellent. Amazing coincidence, I`ve taken about the same... two years to be in a position to return to this one with serious long term consideration. Your series couldn`t have come at a better time for me and the wife.

What a great series it is! You are able to pack up whole game in around 30 minutes which is really reasonable to watch. Nice to see tides turning in favor of Empire, finally! Definitely the best SW:IA footage out there. :)

AHH, I see the two attack thing has been mentioned before. Do not worry though I finished a Jabba's Realm campaign as Imperial and still used the Nexu wrong with the last move of the campaign.

Great work on this series. love it. some rules errors, but the quality is great. I made an App to track heroes health equipment, XP, and kills

also, the nexu can't attack AND pounce. Only one attack action, unless you have Assault (like the e-web), a notable semi-exception to this rule is (obviously heroes and) the brutality ability, which is two attacks but it's still only technically one attack action.

This is amazing. This is the best playtrough of the game I've seen. So many angles, so much clarity, the sound effects, the card details, everything. Huge props to you. You got me inspired. I gotta ask though, where did you find all those sound effects? Specially the quotes for each enemy being actvated and such. I tried to search for it but couldn't find anything. Could you point me in the direction you found these?

  • @ananbebe6048

There are def some rules that may need to be looked at. Wounded is a condition of a unit, and I did not see any of your four wounded when you used the imperial card. Keep learning the rules, and keep making videos. You will get it with more practice.

    • @stephengilbert8166
      @stephengilbert8166 Před 3 lety +2

Naaaa, to me IA is a tool kit for using your imagination. Like D&D you use what you want, and a good game doesn`t rely on remembering to implement every rule, its the tone and the narrative that makes it all come alive. I`m always homebrewing my games, and sometimes leave out (or add in) rules as I see fit to further the game enjoyment. Never been one to play it safe by the book.

If the Imperials are using Agenda cards, are they also using their class cards or is this part of an app?

  • @user-ny1og2up1b

You are playing wrong. Imperial figures cannot attack twice, except for Darth Vader and others, for whom this is clearly indicated in the deployment card. Therefore, your Nexu could not attack the rebels twice:)

This is fairly entertaining. Though the "i'll burn their brain" like sounds kinda dumb and lame, and the consistent miscalculating of damage is irksome.
