You're extremely brave to have "Pig Brain Soup". It was one of my dad's favorite dish. He was also took me to that place. I could take only bitter melon soup along with traditional Chinese Chicken Biryani, they were yummy too. I'd been there when I was 14 years old (around 1970).
I recommend you to try Northern dish "Aep-Ong-O" which is steamed pork brain curry in banana leaves. It's very delicious, to be honest with you. 😋😋

I'm Thai. I really like Thai food. My house is in Chinatown and Talad Noi. But bizarre foods you eat today. I never even thought about eating it. Those fried insects, if I ate them I would no doubt throw up. You are so brave.

Shell Chuan Chim is a guaranteed symbol like the Michelin symbol. Happened for the first time in 1961. This restaurant where you go to eat is pig brain soup. And this is the first shop to give the Shell Chuan Chim symbol.😊
As for the pig's brain, I also can't eat it. So I don't know how it tastes or if it's delicious. My brain says don't eat it. I think it's like durian. If you like it, you'll like it. If you hate it, you'll hate it. In this video there is only jelly pork knuckle which I think is normal. Normally, if the pork leg rice is stored in a cool place, it will be like this. century eggs are my favorite. I can't eat fried insects because I hate insects.😂
For people who are eating century eggs for the first time. I recommend that you eat it cooked first. For example, Pad Kaprao. Order food like khaiyīomā pad kaprao. Most of the time it comes with minced pork. It will help reduce the potency of century eggs.
My grandma's in the uk you to boil sheeps head and have broth and brain's stew or brains on toast or stew a pigs brain as well. Not for me, I remember the horrid taste and smell. Jelly in meat no, not for me, guys. Yes again, my grandma jellyfied pigs feet yuk. I'd be cringing too Diggy 😅. Bugs omg bit extreme today guys. The century egg the look puts me off. I thought when you asked what you where going to eat I had visions of monkey brains or something similar. Entertaining in a weird way love you guys as I always do. For the bugs, the silkworms and grasshoppers are pretty commonly eaten by Thai people. Other than that, they could be specific region specialty. In fact the silkworms are northern delicacy, I believe, but are popular all over. There is a Khai Yiew Mah krapow as well. You should try that.
We definitely have to try the krapow with century egg, lots of people have said it’s good 👍🙏🙏🙏

My friend, if stores can sell it, they sell it in many places all over the country. That means many people can eat it. It only depends on whether we like it or not. If French can eat snails, Danish can eat herring. Century eggs are no different. I like that you count the numbers in Thai before eating.

Hi, Idon't think black egg(ไข่เยี่ยวม้า= horse urine egg) should be eaten seperately and solely. You just put it onto your congee and eat it together with congee and ginger or onion in order to get better taste from it.
One thing I would like to give is, century eggs, don't eat it with diet soda. Diet coke, Diet Sprite, whatever contains aspartame. Chemical reaction makes the egg taste bitter. Not dangerous but it made you lose appetite X-D

Brain soup is a Nope for me, spit it out definitely. But for preserved duck eggs, high quality one without strong ammonia smell can be tasty enough to be paired with red wine as told by sommelier. I’ve tried it and it’s true.

When I was young i didn't want to taste (eggs urine hose ) preserved duck egg at all sounds so weird to me and then when I turn to teenagers after went to technical school started partying get drunk know how to eat this eggs I love it lol. Same thing every time's I went back to Thailand so see my parents there i love to buy some fried grass hopper s sounds so weird for some ones . just want to let's you guys know most the preserved duck egg and salted cooked duck egg sold in the u s from China honestly Thailand made them this kind of 2 egg s a lot better.
It took us a while to finally try as well, it’s actually quite good with the porridge!
We enjoy some of the bugs there’s one type I think they are called bamboo worms, I like these with a beer 👍🙏🙏🙏

This pig brain soup is actually the first "Shell chuen chim" review award back in 1961. To eat it one should make dipping sauce by combining pickled chili vinegar with fish sauce and a little bit of sugar for balance. The crispy fried thing is taro.

Actually you can easy to find century eggs. You can buy them from 7 eleven. They are good to eat with Worcestershire sauce.
We did know about the ones in 7/11 but really wanted to try on the street somewhere.

You know, many many people make food videos. Most of the food are all videod out. As a result, most seem bland. Your video however, is funny and entertaining, as well as informative. It comes down to your personal characters that are funny and exciting, always open for new things. A very enriching aspect is how Diggi brings in the culture element, talking about Poland that had a similar dish. I am Thai, and I don't take to almost all off your weird dishes today. I love the Jai Yiew Ma though 'coz I order it in Krapao dushes. When fried, the clear jelly part of theegg becomes crispy. That is very delicious with the fried Krapao leaves. So don't worry about your reaction to certain dishes. Most of these foods aren't enjoyed by most of people here either. Cheers!!!
