Vampires are very iconic creatures. A mystery of the dark. But why are they so hard to make a story with? Probably because vampires Can often be hard to make scary. Humans are more scared of murder,ghost,demon,hacker,stalker,slender,and creates like love Ness and Bigfoot. Vampires are truly kings and Queens of the dark. But it Was the media who took it and turned them into romantic creatures and lustful ones. And Kinder then the demons they truly are and deserve to be told....
You should look up the Highgate Vampire Case. It actually happened.

Truly great vampire pastas are very hard to find. I usually prefer the actual mythology, but I will give this a 9.9 out of 10. Wonderful job:)
This is actually very close to the Highgate Vampire Case, something that actually appened in 1970s Britain. After nearly 5 years the ghoulish corporeal apparition was finally destroyed by a Bishop of the Old Catholic Faith.

+Liz Alyzee I did, and I'm from Colorado in the United States where even we have certain parts of our state that are without public transportation, Internet, or phone services. The countryside will ALWAYS be isolated comparatively - don't think I gave Romania any special treatment. Not to mention this entire narrative is set an unspecified amount of time in the past - likely before the gentrification of more rural areas. Don't think I made up some absurd fantasy about Romania here - EVERYWHERE has high speed internet and free transportation, but within those same places you'll find isolated communities - that's just . . . Basic geography? I researched as best I could to find real towns with the lowest population and set them in the proper landmarks. Did I do a great job? Nah, of course not. But did I "do my research?" Yuuuuuuuuup! Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo chill out? Haha XD

Steven ray If you want a longer story where the protagonist interacts with the evil entity after the introduction, check out "Design" or "Yellow Halogen" both of those feature the protagonist and fighting for/against spooky creatures (A human weapon of mass destruction, and a Siren respectively.

lh0000 True. But then, nothing in this story really suggests that they NEED to breath. Most of what we learn about them is from the narrator and the brother/father, none of whom are entirely sure what's going on. And, as the narrator points out later, most of what they learned ended up being a ruse that the vampires used to give off the impression of being in a sort of semi-dead/comatose state. It's very possible that the breathing - like their general lack of response - was just part of the charade.
Well now that's settled.

I am a romanian when I was young I used to live in the romanian countryside ,usualy at night my friends and neighbours would tell each others stories they heard that happened in surounding zones of where we lived or to some relatives of theirs ,some of the stories I heard would scare me shitless and still today I am afraid of walking alone in the dark ,trust me if u would hear the stories that I heard u would be too,some of them even sweared those stories were true, most of the stories were about ghostly apartions like moroi,stafii,and demonic figures my hair is raising up as I still remember some of the stories but I forgot most of them it's been ages since I last lived in Romania
