Roy started guiding duck hunts as a teenager on his families land in 1986. Ever since then, Roy and the team at Carter’s Big Island Hunt Club have been putting resources back into their land to ensure the ducks keep coming back to their area.
They discuss Roy’s start in the hunting industry, changes to ducks migration patterns, the challenges that come with wetland management, the ups and downs of being in the hunting industry, and his decision to get sober back in 2017.

The environmentalist take thinks too far. In Missouri they were going to build a reservoir on the Borbous river. Spent millions moving highway 185 and building a bridge then the environmentalist shut it down because it would displace small mouth bass. The resivoir would have bought millions in income from recreation but nope can't move the small mouth.
