It was almost 3 weeks i m in on contact process. His been blocked for 12mnths at first when we broke up he was begging to come back but the amount of chances i gave him i knew he was never gona change. Mine at last reached out in a meaningful way after 8 weeks minus 1 day (yes I'd been counting while delivering stony silence) so your estimate was pretty darn uncanny. At first, I thought that the tornado story was too long, but it ended up being an excellent analogy. I was the one who dumped my ex because I didn't feel loved or appreciated. I'm trying to do the no contact, but he keeps texting me with small talk, and I answer back because we decided to stay friends, and I don't want to seem rude. But, I think that when you break up, it's best not to stay friends until you figure out what you really want to do.

I know its not recommended to look at exes social media but it helps me gather info of what women he is talking to possibly. I saw on social media that he gifted a female friend for her birthday. If he comes back, i know now which friend isnt "just a friend" and that hes only back because she friend zoned him. It hurt to see that but im prepared to let go even more since hes making public romantic gestures to another woman.

Guys i cut the contact with my avoidant 1 week ago. We weren't in a relationship but everything he was doing i felt like we are together. Talking about me like I'm precious but at the same time pushing me away, later pulling. I told him straight, that if he doesn't want a relationship I'm cutting the contact right away. I got cheated on then dumped, so i left the country, went to thailand for a month, then came home to my own country after 4 years away. I met her 2 weeks after the breakup to mend things before we never saw eachother again, as i was leaving the next day. She cried, said she loved me, we slept together then i left. Coach I messed up. Last week I broke nc. We broke up around 3 months ago. I gave her a call thinking maybe she would want to speak to me, instead all she said was ‘please don’t contact me’. This call was less than 10 seconds and I won’t lie. This absolutely crushed me. I respected her wishes and haven’t contacted her since. A bit of back story she is my first real relationship and we were together for just shy of a year. I’m considering going no contact no 1 month into the break-up. Only the contact between him & me is the only thing that keeps her (his affair) away from him.
He cheated as he felt I was being distanced, then decided to be with her & broke up. I know I shouldn’t want him back but I do.

Can you do a video on what to do if you feel you have ruined your chances by reaching out or pleading straight after the break up ? Ive done this and in hindsight I see why that pushed him away further especially when he was probably thinking about the break up long before.

3 months is generally a minimum, I don’t think 2 months is enough time unless they are anxious which would make sense if they reached out after a week or two in that case.

Coach; I was in a long distance relationship (Im 40, she is 34) where we made wedding plans and even talked about having baby since she never been married or have kids. We had an argument about she lying about her working with her ex even though she swear she has no feelings for him. She said she was afraid to tell me about this. I was the rebound for my ex, and like people say, it lasted exactly 6 months and we bring up around 7th or 8th month and my ex had completely lost interest way before we broke up, even though the beginning was very magical and my ex did everything, and even went out of the way to get us together, which slowly changed as months passed...
After the break up, I did go no contact, but I hadn't watched any of the videos then and I somehow did that because while breaking up, my ex said a lot of things and they had hurt me too much to go back.. and my ex did come back, but everytime they came back I tried being tough just keeping in mind whatever was said during break up, but the SECOND my ex said they hadn't completely lost feelings and still like me, I immediately melted and cried, and my ex just left after that...
And came back again, then again, then again... They came back everytime I was resolved to focus back on my life and not let them back in, and they politely left everytime I began hurting again... I said I have the papers ready for divorce and she says “we’ve only been seperated for 2 months, other couples have been seperated longer.” To me it’s like she doesn’t want to fully be done. But wants to do her while I chase. We have kids together. So since last week, I decided to only speak about the kids. And it’s more just like quick texts and she’s the one who hits me about them mostly. I won’t mention anything about us anymore. Part of me thinks she’s talking to other guys. Part of me just thinks it’s because I’m out here being a hoe now. She said she doesn’t care if I have a gf. We shall see. I may just file those divorce papers anyways. I caught my gf lying to me about talking to someone she said she already blocked.. I gave her the rest of the night last night to herself and she called me a couple hours later and I didn’t answer. @blacademic is no contact (blocking him everywhere) still the right choice if my contact with him is the only thing keeping the other girl away from him - he says there were no problems between them other than him not wanting to cut contact with me right after leaving me for her. So she ended things with him. He said he wanted to be back together last week then was unsure so no I’m thinking blocking him to wake him up but - If I block him now, she’ll go back to him 😥😥
