Congrats on the strong track season debut! Enjoyed the vid!
It’s a solid track session Phily. Was a great event and so much fun watching on the stream. 💪
Well done Phily💪 Awesome event, enjoyed watching it live
what a wonderful video. thanks for sharing your first track race with us. everyone seems to be so happy to be back at the track running again. also how exciting you're starting your coaching course. i will be looking out for this one
Totally, the vibe was just good moods all round (think the bank hol sunshine helped too!)
It's like a real life super power to run so fast for so long. Can only dream of that. Awesome work 👍
Great work Philly ! It was a little warm Friday.
Great running Phily strong finishing the last 2k keep the vlogs up . Good luck with the coaching I am sure you will be a big success just like on the road and track 👍🏃💪👏
Appreciate the honesty regarding your track session before the race. Trust me, that hearing stuff like that is just as inspiring as watching pros crush races!
Aww Thank you Jack I appreciate that! Have to be honest and keep it real, it also shows one sub par session really doesn’t define what shape you’re in/how you’ll race!
Great race strategy & you looked really strong in the second half - congrats!
Thank you! It’s always a nice way to run moving past people as the race builds
Solid effort! Great tactics! Awesome to see you ☀️ I know these 5,000m track races can be tough for marathoners 😉 quality run!
I love your channel so much!!
I was watching on live stream. U smashed it! 🚀
Well done - good run. Always good to come through in a 5000. Crazy weather for mid April. Good also you are getting the official coaching qualifications as then we can list you as one on Power of 10.
Such a strong finish, must be all that marathon training. 🏃🏻♀️🥳Exciting about the coaching business, good luck with everything. ☘️
Another excellent video
Well done and good luck with the coaching!! Tadley boy needing advice! 👍
You have to be reasonably happy with that! My experience was that the first track race was always pretty poor no matter how well I had been going in training in the weeks before the race. Should fill you with confidence for the summer ahead!
Yeah 100% it’s always a burner for the legs kicking off the season but hopefully this is the bar set 🤞🏼
Absolute G!!!
Did you say 16:10?! Daaaamn! I'm still hoping to sub-20 someday, I can't imagine doing that pace, that's insane! Good video, and great energy! It's inspiring me to run more, so thanks!
Yeah 16:10 😅 thank you 🙏🏼 Sub-20 still not to be sniffed at, that’s a tough barrier to break - good luck with it!!
Love the shades!
That's where I used to do all my training with my club!
Well done, great race, very well ran. And love your grey sweat shirt, can I ask where you got it?
Whoawww bet you can't run that fast at pontypridd parkrun 🙊😉 I can't run further than 5k so it's all I do, just wish I can one day run it in 20min lol eyes are glued on you for all the advice now Haha you run along so effortlessly! Grrr
Haha you’re probably right 😉 sounds hilly! Thanks Maff, good luck on the 20 min barrier 👊🏼
Great running Phily! Do you find your shorter distance races harder than marathon?
Also saw it live stream you paced It well plenty more to come with a few more under the belt.ohhh is it Lirf and Cirf or something bigger than that ?
Harder in a different way I think, there’s nothing like the pain of the last few miles in the marathon, but I find it harder to reach the higher gears for speed on the track for sure
@@PhilyBowden i know what you mean, very different, but the higher gears needed for speed is so tough
This vid just randomly popped up in my timeline, but it was really nice. Did she run at Oregon?
@@PhilyBowden Thanks for replying 🤩 I was telling my son about your channel bc he’s a runner too; lots of great info in your vlogs. Keep up the good work.
Hi, can we get a training routine for 5k? ;)
Hi, just wondering what standard of runner will the online coaching be aimed at? Thanks
Hey Paul! There won’t be any standards in terms of times achieved or anything like that, I’m a big believer of if you run you’re a runner… and everyone can improve no matter where they’re coming at it from ☺️
Did I see that right, no socks? Is that a thing? I'm not a pro by any means, so I'm just curious if that is the way. How would you know just watching a meet. love your videos ...
Yeah no socks in spikes on the track is a thing, I’d say around 50% of middle distance runners do it, maybe less for the longer stuff!
Hoikathon! 😂🤣. Sorry, I spotted one then when I watch a bit back I spotted another. 8:31 & 9:07 (At least!)
Also, great news about your new venture, I wish you every success. 👍
@@PhilyBowden Hi Phily, 'Hoik' as in hook your finger in the leg of one's pants to stop them bunching or retrieving a wedgie! The two time stamps I gave could have done with a sound effect! czcams.com/video/RKscLZhYMcg/video.html Maybe hoik is just a word I use! I do tend to live on my own planet!
@@PhilyBowden It made me think that if you are trying to put an all-out effort into running as fast as you can, it can't be helpful to have to keep adjusting your clothing. I don't know, as I'm not a runner.
I can almost always guarantee that no sooner do I start a set of bench presses, say, I get an itchy nose! It is very off-putting!
😤 i hate a my parents
i cant a train because my dad does not allow me
Missing these summer track races 🥲
