I have absolutely no criticisms about this song, or their "new" sound, but I am definitely hoping for more of a My Damnation feel to the rest of the album, more of Alex's monstrous high Vox would be killer. I feel like his lows are nowhere near as quality as they were 2 years ago (which explains pablo) but I'm thoroughly enjoying how they blend with the new style

I'm loving this revived sound. I personally think that they did want to change a bit with their Evolve EP but then the label forced that image upon them. Now that they're with a label that doesn't really care about how they sound as long as they push out kick ass music they finally have their soul back in it. Also, the people who are complaining that this isn't them clearly haven't listened to their self titled or desolation of Eden album. I'm loving the return to their roots. I did like their last couple of albums though!
The instruments are awesome. Too bad that the lyrics are awful. It's like they hired Chris Fronzak to write the lyrics to this song. I'm still excited, but this track made my excitement go down a bit. I'm hoping lyrics like this don't plague most of the album.

I'm so sick of how many bands try to be so hard and say how they "don't give a fuck" about anything. It's the most contradictory thing ever. If they wrote a whole song, and some bands even albums worth of how they don't care, wouldn't it be obvious that they DO care enough to dedicate even one song to how butthurt they are? These are men at their mid 20's now, not teenagers. Grow the fuck up.

A lot of people are hating the fact they included semi-clean vocals. I don't get the hate either. They're all great in my opinion. I believe some bands who are heavy for the sake of being heavy get worn out trying to have this bad ass attitude all the time and need to take a step back and experiment. Which they did and executed it flawlessly, now they're back to the sound they used to have and people are all flustered.
This was fucking awesome. So keen for the album.
