The Residence, available on our Airbus 380 aircraft, features a living room, separate bedroom and ensuite bathroom.
Seeing this video makes me want to save money and buy a ticket for myself when i grow up. On my first time to America i will definitely stay in the Residence suit and pamper myself.
Life just keeps getting better and better..................for the wealthy. Thank goodness their "needs" are being kept up with. (Love Dannii & Kylie!)

I'm just staggered. What you've done, Etihad, was take conventionality, and throw it out the window. It's seems you've cleared all obstacles present, between a regal, almost hedonistic level of luxury, and those lucky few with the opportunity to experience said luxury. While I'm sad I won't ever be able to count myself amongst these lucky few, I'm confident they'll remember their flight for years to come!

Hey Etihad Airways, you might want to check out the latest episode of good mythical morning ( Rhett and Link) and is the cabin only for overnight flights, because I can just imagine like Bill Gates taking a 9 hour flight in the cabin
Never flown Itihad before, and this might be way over budget for me, but this is the first time in my life i see a company reaching out to customers on youtube to seekout their feedback.
Listening to your customers is good, but reaching out to them is just exceptional... Way to go guys

Personally, I had always liked the EY first class product the most out of the Big airlines. Even the old first class. The accents of light gold, beige and darker beige as well as the sophisticated yet not too loud modern Arabic patters on the doors are spot on. Not so much overwhelming wood trimmings like on EK.
Weather one feels the Residence is a good idea or not, the spirit of innovation and presenting something new to commercial aviation (as well as the curved aisles on the 787) is something to be very proud of.
Despite this can function just as a marketing scheme for EY, I don't think professionals at EY would invest in this (as well as the apartment) if they didn't think the return would be there.
Very impressive work EY, I hope your new livery would also be as impressive.

Not all private jets can fly all the way from New York to the UAE.

Hope you will be sending A380s over to San Francisco, it's so amazing. But I'll probably never fly it, I hear it costs like 21 grand. I do think 21 grand is worth a suite, a butler, a bathroom, a bed and whatever else is there that practically beats every other airline's First Class.
