Same. But I feel that she'll eventually turn against her mum and Andrealphus.
Yeah if bad batch taught me anything, is that octavia wouldn't believe andrlaphis and Stella's lies the moment she discovered the truth and realizing they are worst than stolas.
While tragic, this will probably lead to Stolas doing the Self Revaluation he needs to do, cause his actions has consequences.

that line frustrates me so much, has ever since i saw the trailer. of course he loves her, the first part of that line IS true though, he never loved Stella. it was an arranged marriage and she was TERRIBLE to him, she knows not of what he went through for 16 or so years to give her a NORMAL childhood and if she did know, she'd feel incredibly guilty.

And as much as I like Stolas, he's a bad written character. Stolas was just a side character that Blitzo was messing with, but he's now one of the mine characters with a complicated story. A vague and rushed complicated story. I think Stolas needed more screen time before we gotten to this plot.

I have a feeling Andrealphus and Stella will use Octavia as a bargaining chip of sorts, either by threatening to kill her or offering sole custody of her in exchange for his position in the Ars Goetia and money. I wouldn’t be surprised though if they perform a kidnapping scenario with Octavia and Blitzo either to make Stolas suffer even more/make it more likely he’d give up everything to save them.
I agree with your theory. I wouldnt put it above the Ars Goetia dudes (mostly Andrelphus and Stella).
It could also be yet another manipulation. Telling Octavia "go along with this and if daddy comes running you'll see he loves you over some imp. We won't REALLY be taking everything, it's just to prove a point" when a) they do in fact plan to take everything and b) have some things in place to keep Stolas from showing up to make Octavia think he didn't even bother to come save her. Thus turning her against him
I always believed that striker will try to hurt both via and blitz as stolas expressly threatened striker if he tried to hurt her.
So striker wanting to "kill 2 birds with 1 stone" could be very interesting
@@Derpy-fun125except that Stella would end up being betrayed by andrealphus. Andrealphus would probably let Stella have his position in the ars goetia if he takes stolas' place. And Octavia, having fulfilled her purpose would more than likely end up killed to remove any loose ends.
Which would require blitz and stolas to effectively team up to rescue Octavia and help Stolas and Octavia go into hiding. Stolas and Octavia would essentially both lose their place in the ars goetia royalty and be forced to live among the lower classes of hell all the while resenting the whole situation.
Blitz would be in an incredibly tough position as now he, Stolas, and Octavia must dodge assassination attempts from the ars goetia whilst dealing with their bitter resentment of him.
Moxie and Millie would abandon blitz for their own self preservation and because they'd get sick and tired of blitz and the consequences of his actions. Loona would likely leave blitz as well because the situation blitz put himself and her in would prove too much for her to deal with.
Where the story goes from there, I have no idea
*Edit: I don't think Paimon would care that Stolas was overthrown by Andrealphus and Stella as he always viewed Stolas as a means to an end and an annoying liability that he doesn't have to deal with anymore. But would probably come to regret accepting the change of positions as it becomes clear that Octavia is still alive. The discovery that andrealphus claimed Stolas' position illegitimately at the behest of Stella would make for some awkward conversations with the other goetia kings.

To me, it seems Octavia has been kept from all Goetia politics, traditions, and other relatives her whole life. I think it's gonna be revealed she's completely unaware of her parents marriage having been arranged and that she only was made to exist as a "backup". She's probably spent her life thinking her parents were together because they MUST have loved each other at some point or cared enough to birth her
Imagine how devastating it would be for her if someone like Stella or Paimon told her the truth. She would immediately think her dad NEVER WANTED HER and that her birth ruined his life! To her it would "all make sense" why Stolas seems "so eager" run off with Blitz because she was never wanted and never will be. That's probably gonna be the breaking point and what the dialogue in the trailer refers to
Andrealphus called her 'Via'. There's probably SOME relationship there that he calls her by nickname.

When stories may seem two sided, it’s easier to focus on one side over another. But when one side is off the books, that’s where we start seeing the other side a bit more clearly.

Dude, during Stolas’s kidnapping by Striker it was only Andrelphus pointing out that _Octavia_ would be the heir to Stolas’s ‘everything’ that made her delay his death, I can only guess she wanted to either pressure him into giving it all to her or pressure Octavia the same way.
But we still have no clue what sort of mother Stella is to Octavia, like is she an attentive mother or an absent one? With what we know so far I can only assume she wanted to pressure Stolas into changing his will to be in her favour 🤔🤔🤔

Honestly, with Octavia's story, I think you're right on the money. Getting her on her mother’s side would be the smartest way that they can get her away from her father and if her father dies, they either have a way for Octavia to give everything to them or they have an easy way, as you said, to kill Octavia before they kill Stolas. I'm hoping the latter doesn't happen. I love Octavia! However, it's obvious her mother doesn't as, at the party they hosted (which wasn't that long ago in-universe), Octavia is referenced by Stella to her friends as "his egg that dropped put of her." We've also never seen her communicate with Octavia, only told that she has mother-daughter days with her off screen. Honestly, I want to see one of those as a short, to see how Stella interacts with her daughter. Even if it ends up being an Octavia-Loona short instead, I want to see how Stella interacts with her daughter.
I wouldn’t actually necessarily say it’s “obvious” considering that when you’re forced to have a kid with someone you don’t love, you’re not going to love the experience. also, Stella only referred to her pregnancy as “the egg”, it’s like how one calls a baby. I would see taking what Stella said as the equivalent of, “I had a baby” since some birds don’t really go through labor, their eggs would
literally just pop out. maybe this was stella’s experience, her egg’s initial birth just felt like another tuesday. AND, Octavia’s actual birth wasn’t when the egg first popped, it was when she pipped and hatched. therefore, we don’t actually know how stella felt when Octavia was born. I would also like to point out that Andrealphus calls Octavia by her nickname, “Via”, which implicates that there may be some level of relationship, not necessarily Stella, but maybe just with her uncle.
I think that the court scene that’s gonna happen in the next episode is probably gonna be about custody of Octavia.
I think Octavia could tell the difference between truths and lies. No matter how Stella and Andrealphus will try to manipulate her, I think she’ll know that they’re dishonest.

Poor Octavia keeps getting left on the back burner, even though she has fear of getting left behind and forgotten by her dad.
I can imagine either Stella and Andrealphous either manipulating and use Via, or maybe she's so sick of Stolas' shenanigans that she decides to side with her mom and uncle on her own accord.
I want Stolas and Octavia to have an emotional moment. For Octavia saying that you never love mom and you don't love me. I think after separating from Blitz and having the chance to love himself, I honestly think the Stolas would tell his daughter that if he didn't love her, he would've put her through the same things that his father put him through.
Also, this could be a perfect opportunity for Stolas to come out to his daughter as being gay. However, he had to fulfill his duties as a member of the Goetia family. Plus, considering that it is confirmed that Octavia is Asexual she might want to come out to her father as well.

I believe once Octavia learns her own mother or brother-in-law is trying to kill her, she will be even more confused cause Stella wants her ex-husband to look like the bad guy, pushing her away so she is manipulative. I imagine Stolas will involve Blitz in his situation. Octavia bring only a teenager will most likely take Stella's side. I don't know where Striker will fit in this since Stella called him off.
I think them tackling the realization all kids have that parents are people outside of being parents and having that for Via would be very cool.
I’m still waiting to see Stella and Octavia interact, since we still have no idea what their relationship is or how Stella actually feels about her daughter. Maybe that line from the season 2 part 2 trailer where Octavia says that Stolas doesn’t love her is a result of Stella or Andrealphus’ manipulation like you said.
Maybe they’ll tell her how her birth was arranged by her grandfather to secure a family heir. And they’re able to spin this in a way to make her think that Stolas never actually wanted her, and is going to leave her now that she’s almost an adult. She’s not going to realize how Stolas sacrificed years of his own happiness to give his daughter a stable childhood.
we do know what Stella thinks of Octavia in season 2 ep 1 (I think), when she mentions Octavia as only the egg she laid. and in seasons 1 ep 2, when Octavia was a little owlet, she had a nightmare and then called for both Stella and Stolas. Stella ignores her, while Stolas comforts her. So while we may not have any interactions between Stella and Octavia, we can already tell how Stella thinks of her.

Implying they do have a relationship she’s afraid he’s jeopardizing. Or she only wants control over Octavia to make sure she becomes a proper heir the Goetia want.

My theory is that she doesn’t love her like Stolas does, but I do certainly think there is some existent connection, since Andrealphus refers to her as ‘Via’ and not by her full name. Indicating some bond since he calls her by her nickname..
In the final episode andrealphus is ready to participate in a battle or in some sort way to fight Stolas but from what others are saying it’s to be believed that Stolas has no powers or abilities to keep him from getting harmed which is where imp comes in to help him but Octavia might see all of it and when the battle is over because maybe she intervene in some way but not to stop the fight more like to be mad at her dad because it appears he left her and chose to stay with blitz because if it’s true that Stolas lost his title and everything else then it might make her believe that he didn’t bat an eye at her when he left
I hope that we get more screen time of Octavia and Loona together.

I hope we get some more of Stolas trying to be a good dad for Octavia. But I also kinda want the show to focus on I.M.P. again. Though I would like amends to be made between Blitzo and Stolas when Stolas isn't drunk.

Don’t think stolas has a hard time talking to Octavia. It’s just the fact that it’s hard to bring up why stolas and Stella marriage is failing without bringing up the abuse and arrange marriage

At least there may be time for her to reflect and meditate on the situation or even see a family on earth like hers but sees all the problems they have and octavia may have a revelation on her family
To me, Octavia is smart enough to see Andrealphus and Stella's plots against Stolas and herself. Her being so strongly affected by Stolas and Stella arguing and eventually divorcing is actually pretty normal for people her age in similar situations (I think). I feel like, at some point (hopefully soon) Octavia will find out the truth behind her Stolas and Stella's relationship.

We don't know, but its probably 'vague' to her, like she understands arranged marriages but still believed there was love, largely because of the way stolas acts.
She totally should and she most potentially will in upcoming Episodes. Right now we are completely at a place, where Blitzø's and Stolas' relationship is in a questionable condition. The Next Episode (2x08) is a major one and will have a lot of consequences on it, and that's more than likely where we will learn where we stand.
Once the "lovebirds" figure their stuff out, we may see more of Octavia and Loona interacting with each other. Not to mention Octavia interacting with Stolas and maybe even the IMP overall (she will probably still feel somewhat weird with Blitzø, but that's completely normal).
The one thing I hate about there possibly being another 'fight' between Octavia and Stolas is that it's already happened twice in the story already. We have to separate 'fights' that had Via running away to get her emotions out, with Stolas going after her because he wants to make sure she's okay and to correct whatever mistake he made. Now obviously the resolutions of these fight didn't fix things, more so just putting a temporary bandage over the gaping wound that is Stola putting his money where his mouth is and actually really showing that he loves these people outside of his fantastical view on life, but I really hope that this next upcoming fight between these two character isn't just more of what we already have seen. I truly wish that we will see some actual growth in the resolution of this next 'fight.' I want Stolas to realize he hasn't been much of a good father as he wanted to be, and I want Octavia to realize that her parents marriage wasn't all sunshine and rainbows. And I also want to her to realize that her parent's marriage has nothing to do with how much her dad loves her.
But I will say one thing though, Via did kinda inherit Stolas's romanticized view on life, hasn't she? She seems to have really thought that her parents loved each other, even if we as the audience have only seen Stolas and Stella fighting or just barely tolerating each other. Especially since how the show makes out that Stella was always meant to be an antagonist in Stolas's life.

One of my big theories is that Stolas and Octavia will lose their standing in the Goetia family, with them both moving in with Blitzo and having to accept a new station in life.
The you love him line honestly makes me think that one of these episodes is basically an apology tour type episode but for stolas

Well Striker did say to make an amazing surprise for Octavia, I think that Andre meeting up w/ Striker to make it is the 1st thing that's happening but where is it at exactly, and when does it happen? Not to mention could making Via super scared wherever they put her be one of them if Stella likes the idea of child endangering her?
I’ve spoken at length previously about my theory that Andrealphus is plotting to move up the Ars Goetia ladder by getting Stolas to surrender his royal title, or killing him if he refuses. I expect he and Stella will attempt to influence Octavia against him, however I can see this failing as Via is far from stupid. Naive maybe, as her father was in his youth, but not stupid. Whatever goes down she will become a bargaining chip, potentially Blitz too.
What’s crucial, and lacking, is the context behind Via’s line in the trailer. Let’s not be under any illusions: she clearly says “you never loved mother” meaning she was saying this to Stolas. We just need to know why, and I pray it happens during birdy boy’s character arc where he realises how he was belittling Blitz and imps in general through his treatment of them, even though he wasn’t doing it intentionally. And while he was busy thirsting after Blitz, he was neglecting his own daughter.

I want to see a ballad sung by Octavia all about her grief over feeling like she lost Stolas, the dad she once knew, to Blitz.
I wish we had more development on the relationship between via and Stella to give us a better understanding of these characters but right now it's such a blank slate.
Also, what does stolas do when not with Blitz? Why is he not with octaves then, considering that's the MAJORITY of his time???
There is also the issue of Octavia 'Coming of Age' as a member of the Ars Goetia, and turning eighteen. From Via's first appearance in 'Loo Loo Land' through the latest episode released, 'Apology Tour' there has been over half a year worth of time passed. This encompasses from Spring Break in March (Spring Broken) to Halloween (Apology Tour). Via was already 17 in her first appearance, and is going to turn 18, which is legal age in North America where the show is made. This is likely to happen in the next few episodes, either late Season 2 or early in Season 3, depending on when she was born/laid/hatched I don't know what the standard is for the Ars Goetia. Since Via hasn't celebrated a birthday in the course of the show it falls to reason that her 'birthday' is somewhere between November and February. Via's time as a minor is running out, and will most likely do so in the course of the show in the not so far future.
Here's a connection for you all to consider with regard to the Ars Goetia. If Stolas is in his mid 30's (going to guess 35, to keep the math on the 'legal' side) and Octavia is now 17, that means she was functionally 'born' when Stolas, and likely Stella, were just 18, and already married by that point. Given that Stolas and Stella were roughly 10-12 when they were 'engaged to be wed', is there a hidden 'marriage bomb', that we have not been told of yet in the show, waiting for Octavia on her 18th Birthday?

Oh boy, well folks looks like it's time for more drama and also a lot of tissue price increase
Yeah I’m going to guess Stolas taking Octavia to Loolooland has less to do with her actually liking it than it does with the fact that Blitz was working there as we can see in the freeze frame at 2:39 where he’s in the background wearing clown makeup leaning against a snack cart. Suggesting Stolas has probably been stalking Blitz for years using his young daughter as an excuse. If Stella and Andraelphus drop that on her I could see her really breaking down since the bond she had with her father was the only thing she had. Especially if the truth is she wanted to go somewhere else, like the official LuLu World theme park and her father was ignoring that.
Prediction-wise, I like to think that Octavia will find out that Stella and Andrealphus are manipulating her, only to come to conclusion that she can't trust anyone anymore, and starts doing things her own way, including practicing magic in self-taught, behind their backs or after running away.
Another alternative is where she stays with Loona in the end; and Stolas, after reconciling with her possibly, willingly allows her to live on her own, knowing she still loves him.
In Georgia Dow's videos on Stolas' parenting she said he was actually pretty good to Octavia, and Stolas not telling Octavia about his loveless arranged marriage was actually more healthy for Octavia and made Stolas the bigger person as he knew Octavia might love her mother all the same and he didn't want to project his own feelings for Stella onto Octavia. Also, I sincerely hope that Octavia's quote was a hallucination of some sort on Stolas' part, cuz so far in every single Octavia episode, Octavia gets upset at Stolas and believes he doesn't love her, Stolas clears up the misunderstanding and Octavia is reassured of her father's love for her. It happened in Loo Loo Land and in Counting Stars, just how many more times are we going to have to watch Octavia go through the exact same character progression?
i knew, i knew it fucking knew i've had this gut feeling since western energy that Octavia would be in danger with Stella and Andrepelous with the two scheming in that episode. and that feeling's paid off.
also that vid about Andreaplues being Blitz's ex got me thinking it does make sense considering his mindset with Veroskia and Stolas before he met the latter.
I think what’s likely to happen is stolas will lose his title and have his powers stripped away from him making him a sitting duck for Andrealphus to take him out without any fear of punishment from the Ars Goetia then blitz will show up to save him leading to Octavia missing the whole fight and seeing her father with blitz right after learning that he lost his title and blames him for ruining everything all for blitz
Octavia is my biggest problem with the series, not because of her, but because she doesn’t get enough screen time, and her just waking up one day and “now I’m angry at my dad” feels so repetitive without filler in between

1. Part of me wants Adraophis to take Stolas' position just to watch him suffer when he bites off more than he could chew.
2. Octavia I sympathize with because I had a happy family. Yet, I couldn't understand the conflict between my parents after their divorce. I got older and learned the hard truths about my family.
3. I'd like to believe Stella does love Octavia, but there's reason enough to believe she'd kill her own daughter out of pettiness.

No one never said he's a good father. And I honestly don't know why people expect him or anyone to be a father, when they themselves don't what it takes to be one. He was forced to have a kid when he shouldn't have had and not have a good example of what it is to be a father. Of course, he's gonna be a crappy father.
For Blitzo, he may not had a good father but he at least had a good mother. How I see it, Blitzo has good people around him, while Stolas actually has no one. Yes, he has Octavia but he has no one his age like friends or family.

Octavia, your father loves & cares for you no matter what. You don't know the whole story of what happened during his childhood life including the abuse. You were the one thing that brought him joy, even though your growing up you will always be his daughter.
Honestly I hope Octavia goes off on Stolas cause she really was a casualty in the downward spiral of her father's life and relationships

I really want to see how Stella tries to spin things. She didn't appear very bright, more like a spoiled little girl, so I'm curious to see if she could pull it off. I'm sure Andrealphus will coach her but I don't know if she could really convince Octavia that Stolas never cared. She openly spoke ill of him, even hired a hitman at the dinner table, it's hard to imagine her putting up appearances before the events of the show
My honest opinion on this entire thing is I completely agree with Stolas when it comes keeping his past a secret it's not that he doesn't want his daughter to know is that he doesn't want her to get in the middle of everything because if she does she's going to be in the line of fire so he's trying to keep her on the side not because he doesn't love her but because as a father your daughter or son is the most important thing in losing them would probably be the worst thing a father could ever experience so he's trying to keep her safe so she doesn't get hurt it's not that he doesn't love her it's that he wants her to be okay in the end because he loves her too much to let her suffer
My theory is Andrealphus wants Stolas alive is because Stolas might hold the key to Paimon's crown. Paimon's crown in the lesser key of solomon is supposed to be some "big treasure," so maybe it holds a lot of power to whoever wears it. Maybe Andrealphus realized only the direct son might have the knowledge or secret the crown's whereabouts, and Stella killing Stolas would complicate things. That, and maybe Stolas locked it away somewhere, fearing its power. I think at first Octavia will side with Stella, but I think she'll learn the real truth and realize she got duped by Stella.
I also think Andrealphus might not want to kill her, as she is only 17 and I think Andrealphus might be one of the few villain characters to actually be merciful, and have some respect and honor amongst foes. Maybe Stella would want to kill her, as Stella seems to be the kind of character to do that because of how senile she is and she's very impulsive. But I think Andrealphus would hear that plan and not allow it to happen, and probably he'd try to send Octavia back to Stolas before Stella gets her hands on Octavia.

I like the idea of andrealphus becoming the new main antagonist of the series. He whould make for a better main villain then Stella(though part of me still hopes Stricker becomes the main villain)

I had a few theories and I assume it confirms Octavia truly never knew her parents were an arranged marriage and she only exists because her grandfather ordered it
Octavia is my personal favourite character, I'm telling you whenever she's up again with that line we heard in the trailer, it's going to be tough to watch for me.
And the fact that Blitz and Stolas haven't shared their past with others they care about, is one of the major reasons said others can't full understand why they are they way they are and so on

Also, you have to wonder, how is Stolas supposed to tell her he only married Stella and had her because his father told him to. That revelation would also probably traumatize Octavia, knowing she only exists because her grandfather was thinking about the possibility of Stolas' death

Some very interesting point in this vid, got to admit, I never thought about Andrealphus being married with an heir, but the idea holds up with cold Goetia's A Song of Ice and Firesque logic. I'm not entirely sold on Andrealphus planning to kill Octavia though, admittedly solely based on him calling her by her affectionate nickname Via and what I percieve as a worried tone when he realises who'd get the inheritance.
Plus, I don't think Stella will resort to love bombing Octavia, since Via calls her mother (formal and factually cald) in the sound clip, as opposed to mom (informal, but affectionate, especially notable since she's always called Stolas dad).
That "a plot point being resolved this season" stuff is interesting, though I don't think it'll be Stolitz (even if it'd make me happy, it's taken up too much space), but rather something else related to him, likely his divorce and his ranking within the goetia. If he's stripped of his wealth and position, and assuming he's not executed or imprisoned, his subsequent fate might've been hinted at during "The Circus" where Blitz offered him a job, but that'd very likely lead to Stolas fatigue for the fans, way more than what some fans are currently feeling.

I don’t think Octavia was saying that to her dad but I think it might be directed towards her mom, her mom might be trying to convince her that she’s an ally to get the inheritance by saying stuff like “I loved your father but he betrayed me and you” considering we seen Octavia forgive her dad and they’re trying to get along 🤔🤔

Its more that I think Stella and her brother puts doubt in Via's mind and odds are when Adrealphus attacks Blitzo will be there to save Stolas and Via will see it as confirming her worst nightmare cause Stolas might have to leave since he was either dethroned or is no longer being protected by the Goatia. It will trigger her into thinking her father is leaving her which is just so fucked cause we know Stolas loved her so much that he was in an abusive relationship and tried for years to work it out with Stella who never tried unless it benefited her. Stolas is a great dad but he wants to spare Via instead of telling her the truth we also don't know how life was before Blitz in terms of how the relationship of Stolas and Via was during her teen years. Via resents Stolas because Stella was the one she expected to be selfish since she knew she had Stolas but now that Stolas wants to live for himself she thinks she is going to be left alone.

I feel like Stella and Andrealphus are up to no good. Octavia is in very real danger of being murdered by her mother and Andrea. Worse, she doesn’t even realise it. As far as I know, Stolas really does need to get her away from them.

She was in two episodes so far and in both of them her father proves that he loves her and that he always tries to understand her. If Andreaphus did try to kill Octavia remember she is a processionary heir providing protection in its own right, if he did kill her I doubt the Goetia family would be happy with him dare I say Piamon would have a final word with the trouble he caused. To be fair despite the scandal Stolas has caused he still technically does his job and doesn't compromise anything he's tasked with doing
