  • The story of a Russian Master student, who goes to study in Lisbon, Portugal for a semester through the Erasmus+ student mobility program. The video is in ENGLISH! For the Russian version check this link | РУССКАЯ ВЕРСИЯ ПО ССЫЛКЕ: • Первая неделя в Лиссаб...
    I was so anxious making this clip, so I mispronounced some things:
    04:48 -- not 3 but 2 more floors! One with lemon trees and the bottom one with the dryers;
    06:20 -- of course I meant 19 (nineTEEN) not 90 (nineTY) degrees :D
    And P.S. Excuse me for my Russian accent!

    Hi, I am going on exchange next year and am trying to decide if I should include Portugal on my list of countries I want to go. Do you recommend it? Are people nice in Portugal ? THANK YOU!!

      wax MASOTNK Hi there! You should definitely put Portugal on your list - the people are nice, polite and very welcoming, plus, almost everywhere you go, you'll find English speaking people (at least in Lisbon), which is really important and good for you, if you don't speak Portuguese. The weather is just fantastic - sunny almost every day, which kind of automatically makes you happier :) And the country itself is very beautiful - both the nature and the architecture. I have only been around Lisbon up to this day, but from what I heard from friends, it's very true for the whole country. Moreover, living here is much cheaper than in many other European countries, and you also want to consider that

    Hi,
    Were you hosted by a family in that house or you rent it and lived there alone?

    Campolide is almost in the center of Lisbon.
    I used to walk from Bairro da Serafina where i use to live (other side of Aqueduct where you film) to the closest high school (Liceu Maria Amalia Vaz de Carvalho), that was 30 minutes walk and is very close of Marques de Pombal (Rotunda). And i'm saying i had luck, because was the year that high school pass from being only for girls to be for both sexes. Because otherwise i need to walk to Campo de Ourique (the closest Boys high school) that almost one hour distance. Right now the state provide free transportion to low income families, but in that time, no way they help.
