- this is how I pulled off the lava chase in that one unfunny video with that really shitty "knockoff" version of the game. I didn't really wanna make this because I didn't want to post a tutorial some people can't utilize, but you know what? That's what you get for buying an IPhone. (I'm just kidding please save the pitchforks and torches for another day)

polymap editing *can* break some elements of your level if your'e not careful, but if you know what you're doing, there's no problem with it at all.
This is the hill I'm gonna die on, if I must!

Im having a bit of trouble, i have gotten to the polymap file and i have edited it but i couldnt save it
If you can't save the file itself it might be an issue with the text editor you're using, but if you mean that nothing changes in the game, you may not be reloading the level after editing the file. That part is important because just hitting the play button will save the level that was in the editor, overwriting any changes you may have made to the file.
To make sure it's an issue with reloading, you can try editing the file while still in the title screen or with the game closed, and only opening it once you have saved the file.
If that still doesn't work, my best bet would be that the text editor isn't working, but that issue is probably only possible if you're on mobile
or just use falling blocks going left/right

you sure it's not at /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.lastquarterstudios.catsareliquidabp/files/Custom?
if you have the other CaL game installed, you may have opened its folder instead of ABP's folder.

What app do i use to open the polymap?
If you're on windows, notepad should do the trick. If you're on Android, you might need to install a text editor app. I personally used one called "simple text editor" and it worked alright, but any text editor you can find will probably do the job

@@user-ot4wp4mz6l If I'm not mistaken Google docs creates an online copy, but I suppose it should work as along as you can copy the modified file back to its directory

There is a game called Sonic Boom, where after defeating the last boss,he will crash into a nuclear reactor and Sonic will have to escape from the explosion, The scene is identical because while Sonic runs away the fire is behind him 0:14
Its a sonic rom hack called sonic boom (not to be confused with the offficial HECKY one) where in the final act used a fire thing that chased sonic

How did Red jump off the circle at 0:29?
I placed a jump pad on the circle and set its Y rotation to 89.9 using our good ol' friend polymap editing, making it appear almost invisible but still functional. From there it was just a matter of timing red's jump so they land on the jump pad and bounce off, while making sure I, playing as Lumi, don't hit it in order to not spoil the effect
