- We don't always consider our off-body options when we think of everyday carry. In this video I share some of my items and recommendations for off-body carry and when it may be applicable. Considering when we may not have the storage or ease of access to carry our body or when we are trying to avoid less attention.

The Molle on the back seems like it would be used to attach the bag to a bigger system rather than attach items to it. If you use some quick release Molle clips the bag could detatch quickly and then be used as a sling bag.
That’s great feedback thank you. I never considered that and was wondering why it seemed out of place but that could work for some people !
That back molle is to attach to plate carriers or packs or vehicles seat backs i was hoping Viktos kept that feature on the upscale 3 but deleted it
I have the first version and i wear it across my front, but i did have issues with the zippers on the back pocket slowly sliding open, so i used "s" biners to keep them shut or you could tuck them into the nylon loops next to them .
Great tips thanks for sharing I wouldn’t have thought of that !
Far as I’m concerned as long as the seal is still intact I don’t see why it won’t be good unless there’s liquids involved
Even if things "expire" they're still serviceable. Those dates are more marketing to drive sales. I got rid of an "expired" can of OC Spray....into the wind. It still works! So, I'm under the impression that those items remain serviceable well beyond a date on a package.
Thank you for your response, glad to know you should be covered in case something goes wrong.
I am an OC instructor and it is not about the formula going bad but instead the O ring that keeps it pressurized if that begins to rot and leak then it will not stay pressurized and will not spray as it’s supposed to but instead leak out
@ElJefe1007 that O ring will last way beyond that date on the cannister. Ask one of your officers to give you a quick burst with a rotten O ring and expired date....then post the results on your channel. I'd love to see it!!!
Dark Angel medical says as long as the seals aren’t broken then the med items should be good to use.
Thanks for the feedback back, I’m familiar with him and his expertise. So if that’s all it is then it’s good to go. I appreciate you answering the question.
Be careful of anything with elastic, rubber, ect. Those things will dry rot and eventually become useless.
@@VETERANPREPPER1 will the items dry rot if the seals aren’t broken? If the packages are vacuum sealed, how does dry rot occur?
Where did you get this bag send name and how to buy one from who and how much would help.
Sorry about that some of the policies on CZcams are weird about links. But it’s the Viktos Tactical upscale bag. You can find it on their website and get the upscale 3.0 or if you don’t mind they have the earlier versions on Amazon . They fluctuate between $70-100 new.
My opinion only - never carry your firearm in a fanny or sling bag unless you have no choice. The bag is held with 1 strap. Anyone can slice off you with a sharp knife and now you just lost your protection. If you search google you will find hundreds of people this is happening. This has turned into quite a fad. This goes on in larger cities like Portland and Nashville etc. Purse snatching has been going on for ever why take this change? Something to think about.
That’s a really good piece of advice I’ve never considered that. Thank you really puts some thought into it. I usually never carry this bag on person it just stays in my vehicle with extra medical and ammunition.
@@DesertTigerSyndicate I do carry a sling bag but all it has is 2 tourniques and medical supplies. 2 mags and 1 in the gun and my swiss army on my belt. The way IU see it better to see then make it easy to take
Yeah I strictly appendix carry unless I’m like rock climbing or on a hike. Besides that I pretty much use the bag just for extra supplies and quality of life items.
@@DesertTigerSyndicatealiengearholsters have a holster that connects to the strap in front of you and a molle to attach to the belt I have both sitting here but they messed up my holster they will fix this week. U may wish to check it out
Okay yeah that’s cool I will check them out thanks for the tip !
..do you live in iraq?
I don’t live in Iraq. Here in the great United States although I’ve been to Iraq.
inst?
What’s that ?
Did you have the instagram ?
Oh gotcha yes I did have an Instagram called Greenmoonsandghosts
I've never heard of an Off-Body Carry bag that you wear on your body. Interesting...
I see what you’re saying. In regards of off body it’s because the bag acts as an extension. When worn the items are still in the bags storage and are considered off body. Additionally off body because it can be prepped and stored. Thanks for the feedback.
The bag is badly designed. Molle is stitched on the back side of the bag against your back. And really, if that’s how you carry that bag, there doesn’t seem to be a reason to off-body carry your firearm. Seems clumsy if you have to draw from it.
It definitely has its flaws and it’s not something that I would recommend using or carrying all the time because of those. more showcasing off body carrying and what you may or may not have in your kit. there is many other well-designed off bodies satchels and man purses. Unfortunately I don’t have those and this is just something I had available. If possible I always appendix carry, if I have my battle belt with my duty holster would work too but in some cases for example, like when I’m going outdoor rock, climbing I don’t really want appendix carry. So it’s pretty niche use but it can be helpful, It’s more use as being prepped in the vehicle.
Thanks for sharing that good to know. I completely forgot about using it that way.
@@DesertTigerSyndicate you do you big dawg. If it works for you cool. 🤙🏾
Pretty sure you don’t know what your talking about. Next time you design a bag. Then I’ll review it.
Not sure who that is directed towards but cool man
It’s too big. You won’t continue to wear it.
Yes it is big I don’t wear it often only when I’m hiking around or I can through it in the truck and get it if needed.
🤣😅🤣😅🤣 Why does every body have to carry a back pack , it looks like every body is waiting on the bus ! !!! Nobody use to carry backpacks and everybody seem to get along just fine . If you got so much stuff you got carry with you in a backpack, somethings wrong !!! People are crazy and just trying to keep up with the stupid trends that go on ! I've never nothing but my car keys a wallet and a pocket knife and I aint never had problem or needed nothing else, people are pitiful !
That’s cool man, Glad you been doing good for so long!
why do you care? are they hurting you? no. worry about yourself.
You should try carrying a grammar book in a backpack! It will help make your comments worth reading. 🤓
Wearing boardshorts and a t-shirt during the summer makes conceal carrying my weapon impossible. Sometimes, you want the option to have your weapon system near than no where at all.
