Great stuff, cheers.
Didn't realise what a brilliant storyteller Jim was rip
The legend jim ,
Lovely great smashing 😜
Brilliant, Jim Bowen RIP mate, we still talk about bullseye here in thailand
Jim on great form!!
You can get a good idea of how popular he was by the number of comments from all five of his relatives in the last six months.
Why are you here 💨
@@johnwalters4792 I was looking for comedy. Unfortunately the only comedic thing I see and here is an old man who is amusing, because he thinks he is amusing. That's why.
BTW I watched less than 2 mins of it to come to that conclusion. It is a bit like watching Albert Steptoe attempting comedy, and his son in the wings trying to pull him off the stage. The only thing missing was the son.
@@erepsekahsone of his later routines entitled "you can't tell these any more" is even more dire. It's like watching a dementia patient telling interminably long stories, rambling away with seemingly no purpose, pause or coherent point. Just a load of teary eyed nostalgia for a deluded audience.
This is exhausting to watch. Tedious and predictable
He was 55, he just looked old. The glasses and the hair mostly.
He said prince Charles broke his arm seven months ago. Making this 1990
33:13 Charles broke his arm on 28th June 1990, so as Jim said seven months ago then it would put this performance in about January/February 1991. It is very likely the same performance at Blackpool's Talk of the Coast that was on the VHS tape 'Jim Bowen Live' released by Video Collection International on 15th March 1993. Jim seems to have done residencies at the Talk of the Coast throughout the 90s, so I couldn't pinpoint one specific date that he appeared there.
