My dad thinks that I shouldn't compete just to prove myself, because I'm just a beginner by learning how to do boxing 🥊 but when it comes to competing you got to have heart I mean it's a dangerous sport I know, fighters like this need to be healthy & also need to train harder and harder and harder and harder, just to do competition to see who is the best.

I have zero sympathy for a sportsman/sportswoman who, clearly realizing that the opponent was knocked out, continues to beat him on the ground. Anyone who practises such sports knows when their opponent is knocked out. Completely unacceptable. That has nothing to do with sport either. What would it be like without a referee? When would the opponent stop? When the skull has burst?

That, I believe, is down to the awareness / speed of movement of the referee . But I def agree with your point . Way too much responsibility on one man's shoulders where seconds , nano-seconds , could be so vitally important . I also made a point above that only the lucky few make it to the very top , or thereabouts . Many more , for financial reasons , have to carry on in a "business" they have dedicated their lives to , just to make ends meet . Opening their minds and bodies upto God only knows what kind of abuse . The silent majority ? Who knows .

Also, hitting an opponent after they go down with a hard strike, is very unsportsmanlike. It's obvious that the fight's over when they go down like that, so jumping down on them and continue striking is a total dick move.
