I have my Raptor grill ready to install on my 22 ranger. Not putting it on though until I get the 2.5in level and some 33in k02s installed. Cant wait

I would highly recommend painters tape on surface of bumber, prior to removing grill.... not to happy scratched the shit out off it. Didnt release, i thought there was clearance.

I would suggest painters tape on Bumper prior to removing old grill. Scratched the shit out of it removing, i couldnt even tell, i thought there was clearance.

Amazon sells all kinds of them. With amber or white lights as well as no lights
I ordered mine a few weeks ago and upon unpacking I found my wiring harness to have the old style negative and positive wires with C clips on the ends. Since then the product is no longer available on Amazon and there was absolutely no paperwork included in the box for customer support..not even the company name. Anyone have an idea how to wire that or where to get a replacement wiring harness? Besides the wiring issue, this video was spot on. Thanks!
I bought mine from stage 3 motor sports. 15000miles now and no issues since install. Give them a call / check them out
@@HarlesGarage I checked out their site and did not see wiring harnesses just complete grills. I will contact them tomorrow. Thanks! The grill itself is installed and looks great..just no lights. I got the larger white rectangular LED's should be the same wiring harness though.

Thanks, it’s a bracket with a couple of screws. It’s very secure.

Have a buddy with FORScan and pay him in beer. That’s what I did. But if y’all interested i can show y’all how to do it with the program/ laptop.
@@HarlesGarage I was thinking more along the line of how they do it on an F150 with a wire jumper.
I think just by disconnecting the little connector going to the negative terminal, its the battery monitering wire for the auto start stop. By disconnecting it you can disable it.

Just buy an LED night light on amazon and plug it in behind the rear console and your good to go.

XLT that came with this grille.. but they gave me the regular grill and I think I'll be switching it back as I like the regular grill better.. but that's just me..

I had a ton of trouble removing the bottom clips on the oem grille.
Yeah it’s a pain. I hate pretty much any automotive clips / push pins .
That's way too complicated for me. I'll just get a Custom Shop to do it...
It’s actually super easy I did it in less than an hour in my driveway the hardest part is removing the oem grill clips but it’s not hard to do at all.

I have the same one and it was super easy to install. No splicing of wiring just plugs in. The hardest part is removing the grill, use a stubby flat head and take your time or you’ll break the OEM grill clips I broke one removing it in a rush. But it’s honestly easy if you have all the tools. It’s not as heavyweight as the oem grill, but seems durable enough. Completely changes the look of the front end for the better.
