Don’t hold the handle down just put it down once if you’re peeing and pooping keep it down all the way because I have a Highland but it never takes down as much as I wanted to.
Typical for a Low Water Consumption (LWC) toilet - it passed all the solid performance tests (the washcloth, grocery bag (also both together) and dishtowel) but the bowl rinse and clearance is pants! Obviously treat this like a dual flush toilet using the press let go for the flush to clear out pee and press and hold to clear out poop (and more than a couple of sheets of tp)! It is shame that the swirly flush only happens when the siphon jet is clogged up. Based on this I give this toilet a okay'ish 6/10 = not bad by any means but certainly plenty of improvement required for it to be classed as a decent toilet!!!
What happened to the old flush valve that makes it flush a bit longer? And that flush valve u put in makes the flush not accurate to this toilet. but anyways that dirt test was okay, could’ve have a longer flush with the old flush valve to remove the rest of the dirt.
The old flush valve was cracked but this one is the same. It was originally set above the water line in my first video and it used more water which is why it flushed better. I reduced the water usage to 1.28 gallons which is what it was designed for.
This has different tank parts in it. They originally use the yellow ones.
almost 7k subs ALREADY?! holy crap your channel has been growing at sporradic rates
I have no idea what happened but I ain't complaining
He has 8.49K subs now.
@@CARma193well actually it’s 11.7k
I have that toilet in my house you don't need to add water, that's just how it is. the water level can be at different Hights in the bowl.
It flushes weaker with less water in the bowl
I really thought that Facebook notification sounded from my mom‘s phone. LOL! 😂😂😂😂😂

@@ChaBarry The Facebook notification came through on the video

Yeah, it swirls slightly

I would always hold the handle
That one looks like The one at my friends house I don’t know if they moved somewhere
Hopefully it doesn't have as many problems as this one
Only thing i like about this toilet is the quiet rim jets, they don’t make a high pitch sound
Those high pitched rim jets are annoying
@@OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations yeah, and they make a toilet feel cheap imo

These are generally disappointing toilets and I wish they would design them better
I have a Kohler Memoirs with stately design comfort height and the bowl is similar..the bowl rinse sucks with it being 1.28 gal flush
My Memoirs is older so it uses the Ingenium flushing style
Can you swap out the 1.28 aqua piston for a 1.6 one? I think maybe the longer flush would be better bowl rinse
@@raycampbell7944 They're the same
Ok cool. I was told the canister might be taller on the 1.6 and hit the tank lid. The one in my toilet don't have markings on it like some.
@@raycampbell7944 This one is the same height and it has a 1.28 gallon mark and a 1.6 gallon mark. Yours probably has one too but they tend to fade.

modern Kohler is like the Toyota Corolla of toilets. Very functional, but very boring. 😴
I think it's the opposite but I respect your opinion
