(L-R): John Mehne - Fender strat; Eddie Rivers - pedal steel, sax and lead vocal; Jim Basque - bass; Kevin Frost - drums; Jim Lutz - Fender tele. Eddie ended up going to fame and fortune as the steel and sax player for Asleep at the Wheel, 2004 to present.

Thanks for sharing. Eddie eventually went back to non-pedal, and staying mostly in A6, if I got this. Love the way he was basically just sort of "plucking" rhythm throughout several bars on this track. A lot of players seem to always try and be in the forefront. But only the very best are capable of backing off a little, in order to allow other band members to take the lead. Just something to think about.
