I know most all King Air pilots raise RPM on runway after landing, I do not agree with this method. My instructor, a very high time military 350 driver, calls it "fists of fury" after landing to go from throttle to prop to throttle then reverse on roll out. He and I are the only people I think that are at full RPM prior to landing in a King Air. I am a 7,000+ hour ex-corporate and ex=commercial (121) pilot flying my own MT prop equipped 300 now for 5 years. Love your videos, not being critical at all. You land as most every King Air pilot does that I have seen.
My company's SOP is to have props full ahead when putting the gear down. Though in our case we'd also not get away with the lag to put them ahead on touchdown with some of the strips we fly into.
I enjoy these videos and was glad to see this one. It is also good to see you in the left seat. Well done! I missed hearing your dialogue and other camera angles but I'm sure that will come as you get more comfortable with the King.
Hi Max, Looking good. Nice to see you in the left St the controls. How is School going? You still owe me a Cuba video on its flight planning! Clear Skies! John
King Air! Big "upgrade" from the 182. Congrats!
Glad to see another video from Flying TEXAS. Great job.
