  • We witness late p.m. rush-hour activity at Jefferson Station in Philadelphia. We see all kinds of trains and see a couple of individuals who handle passenger flow in this busy station. They did an outstanding job and the trains flowed through smoothly on or close to schedule.

It’d be nice if SEPTA could reactivate their existing ghost lines I.e., Coatesville, Reading, Allentown, Newtown, West Chester, and build more subway lines and extensions to create a would class transit network.

When I see a Philly train car with a "hump" on the roof, it makes me recall Almond Joys on the Market Frankford subway, and the old Reading RDC's

That won't happen until Phase 3 is completed.

Just think about it. Philadelphia could have had a 12mile Roosevelt subway extension built instead of the commuter tunnel IF ex-mayor Rizzo had a brain. Something like this would have been built anyway, but a chance to have an entire subway line built by the federal government and at no cost to Philadelphia is an opportunity that may not come EVER again. I still cannot believe it. As beautiful as this is, just think about a subway-an entire subway-connected to the Broad Street subway at Broad and Erie or at Broad and Hunting Park stations. The commuter tunnel is only 1.8miles long. Smh.

a massive crucial infrastructure project like this would have been built eventually in the U.S. is not true lol, Boston still doesn’t have their central connector

That's where I'll be when we go to the final day of the Auto Show on Sunday, watching a few trains before our return train back to the new Harris B. McDowell III Claymont Transportation Center!

SEPTA's "Silverliner IV" MU Cars...Real Commuter Cars! Once they, and the remaining NJ Transit MU's are gone, only the Chicago South Shore (NICTD) will still operate those type of Cars! But, NICTD's eyes are really on those Double Decker Cars...stay tuned! By the way, coming back to Chicago soon? The new Double Track South Shore between Gary and Michigan City will be completed and operational sometime in late May! Always great Videos you produce!

Its very confusing boarding at the City Centre stations with the different locations. Guess because the station platforms are long, and each train is typically only 4 cars long, guess each line is assigned to different births similar to busses.

Commuting can get wearisome, but the bustle and the people at train stations always seems like city living at its best.

Good video! Might seem a little hard to believe but thats actually me in the first clip as the PA on the Malvern train. I thought I recognized you but wasn't sure and not being on time made it hard to actually come up and ask you.

There were absolutely no Push-Pull trains in that video, I wonder where they went because I think they usually run on Rush Hour Express Trains.
