His hair is like m 2 year old sons. So I’m glad I found this channel! I can’t braid and these twists videos are helping me switch up his styles. I do his hair for the week and at the end of each week redo the same style.
Love to hear this! I was just telling myself I need to do another non braided style again for those you prefer twists! So not the next video (already recorded lol) but the following on will be a new twist style for you! Twists are such a great protective style cause you can redo them weekly like you do and that gives you the chance to add more product and water to rehydrate and let the hair retain some length and be healthy 💙

I like this style. My son is grown and keeps his hair in a Mohawk most of the time. So I make up for that with my reborn toddler boy doll. I collect reborns and love styling their hair. So I will be trying this on him real soon. Thanks for this helpful video. 🐝🐝❤️

With Shine and Jam I've been using that since I was a kid and I always will have to use holding spray afterwards for it to last all day especially for ponytails. But for braids its a great product to use tfs!
That's a great hack, I've never thought about that.. thanks! 💙 Yeah it def does the job for a "light" no residue hold... I think I just enjoy it because it doesn't seem really harmful on kids hair 🤷🏽♀

Hello, I’m watching your styles now online for my 6 year with the same type of texture. Only difference is he is major tender- headed, and patience only 15mins. Can you create a braid hairstyle for little boys using hair jewelry. He thought at one point it was for only girls and the beads. So, I showed him how men are wearing it as well, especially African men. The only problem is I can’t do those hair styles and want something easier and for a toddler. I don’t have any income myself, I am an at home mom so can it be simple in cost please, thanks.

Hi! Question for you? Do you clip/trim Kam’s ends? My 4 year old son has a very similar curl pattern, it’s like 3c and I’m noticing he has split ends. Since you take such good care of your son’s hair, you’re someone I trust to tell me if I should consider trimming his ends.

What advice could you give to retain hair & avoid shedding because on wash days my son sheds alot?
Hii 👋🏽 if you’re leaving protective styles in for a longer period of time you’re going to get a lot of shedding because our hair sheds on a daily basis but when it’s braided/twisted, etc. it can’t fall out daily and only comes out when we’re combing out a protective style.
Other than that, I’d say make sure to detangle before washing, small portions and start with the ends first, holding tightly and work your way up the roots. Use leave-in conditioner (braid) spray a couple days a week. Wide tooth combs, ez glide brushes, detangle with conditioner in his hair. Keep his hair moisturized (water) while in protective styling or just refreshing if hair is left out. Drink lots of water, kids vitamins and a kid friendly healthy diet. Hope this helps! 🤞🏽💙
