That place has a lot of gems, my goodness
I took my kids out today to look at our local creek & My daughter found some rutile on quartz, her very first pick. We are learning about rocks & today wasn’t spectacular but we all learnt a little & are stoked that we have a big chunk of rutile quartz in our tiny little town 😍😍😍 Love your excitement & learning from you Liz, thank you for sharing with the world 🤗🌟💞

Liz....You are amazing! You do so many interesting things. I enjoy all the videos except the crafting. Huge fan. Thanks for sharing.
I loved the video! It's kind of funny, she was throwing away all the crystals I'm trying to find, and was amazed by all of the ones I have to throw away: the black ones. When I first started mineral hunting, very recently, I knew that there were a few black minerals, but it wasn't until I got to a spot and realized every black mineral that I picked up was different from the last! I have one that's very black and shiny and it actually looks like it has diamond cuts in it, it's very lightweight. I kept it because I thought it was beautiful, I'm still glad that I did, but I'm very new to this and only have an idea of what it might be. Thanks for the great video!
I enjoy your lessons and vblog on finding minerals. I Live and work in Australia. Like that Quartz crystal
Love your videos, so exciting and amazing! To find places with so many different minerals all in one area, I'd go bonkers.

Wow you would love northern ontario canada if you like finding quartz and iron pyrite or jasper. There is an endless supply. 😊
I would love to be able to find stuff like that here where I live. I have to buy most of what I have. Anyone living in a place where they can get it easy is very lucky
You are a bonza Sheila showing us these gems. I used ur garnet one at Castle Rock and had a ball finding garnets. Thank you Liz.
@@LizKreate these garnets intrigue me.
They don't look much when you find them, either whole or broken and they don't appear to be much better when you clean em up.
Shinning the phone light through the small ones/bits you can see the red but how do you use/process them to show their redness?

Charcoal Kimberlite !
That’s interesting because I found a diamond on the surface in South Australia.
At 3:30 I have some of those rocks but smaller. I had a man come to fix my stove and he has a rock store. I asked him about them and he said those marks were fossils that the substance of the rock had formed over little water insects and sediment.
Very nice . good video
Always having fun Liz. I'm jealous :)
+bigbigtitties1 Thanks for the comment BBTT. Hope you still been getting a chance to go out prospecting. Happy New Year. Cheers, Liz
well the white looking ice there many like that in our place under a tree when u dig it..
Wow very good 👍😊
Hi Liz, I love watching your videos! I am not really a collector as such however I have a few gem stones just because they fascinate me. Recently my son found an absolute beautiful crystal looking stone literally accidentally in the Snowy River Mountains in a stream. I would honestly love your opinion about what this mystery aqua looking clear rock is with what looks like a kimberlite type rock with some dramatic black straight lines which look like carbon? Just touching this rock left some black residue on our hands. It is very pretty and has a brilliant shimmer, with some rainbow oil slick patches when light hits on certain points. Is there a way I can send you a photo of our family mystery rock? We already love it because my son is 14 and he seems to attract money (its a long story) and his first thought was to give it to his 17 year old sister because she collects crystals lol. They mostly argue all the time but he still lovingly gave it to her, so its worth more than a precious stone now, it is special 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. Anyway thanks xx
Hi, how to know if an area contain gemstones or not ? Is there any tools to know / check the depth of the land to find some gemstones ? Do you have any FB so i can upload some stone and know what is it ? I like walking around some area to find the artistic and value gemstone too. Thanks
Wow I want to be where that is. I’m so interested in all this it’s like my new hobby. It’s not a crisis or a breakdown just. Sry interested in learning about gems and minerals and rocks.

OMG Liz! If that had been me I would had been squealing, but then again, I have not been hounding for gems/minerals before but l love them.
But my question to you is this... when you and Wal go out how far from home do you travel? I watched one of the Pedro vids and you all were gone 6 months. Do you now stay closer to home or do you still have to go on longer trips to find your materials?
Have u got any tips for prospecting at wee jasper Im going this weekend thanks
+Thomas Venton Hi Thomas, The general area of Mcphersons Creek is now under private lease and requires permission. The area is also over run with blackberries, which makes the creek almost impossible to work. Cheers, Liz
Cool Show !
We here in Norway have a lot of Quartz as well, but not a huge variation like that with so many different minerals
If you ever come around here let me know :)
