One of the best house tours I've watched, not only because of the style but because of yourself and Dom!
Thank you so much!
This is gorgeous! Its so nice to see a renovated 60's home I feel like you so rarely see them online, its really nice to know what you can do with it!
Such a stunning family home. I absolutely love your style Dom! So lovely to hear a Durham accent on CZcams too🧡

House is super fab. Mine is very similar 1960s build and ive stripped or bare, knocked down walls and totally changed it. Hard work and rewarding - but GOD ITS EXPENSIVE.
Me and my family looked at this house to buy😂
Name twins!
@Ben nash £1 mil
@Chanel .m it was no joke
I am obsessed with your house. I hope when you move to your new one you make it just as beautiful, if not more. You have SUCH an eye for decorating it’s insane !!
Thank you so much! I hope so ☺️
My favourite house tour ever! Realistic and still gorgeous, stylish and well kept! Also you guys are fun!
Absolutely love your style! It's minimalistic but has so much character :)
Anaïs: Thank you! We love it and will really miss it when we move x
This is the first ever video I've watched from you! I just happened to stumble upon you.. loved how you kept it real with all the shite lying about and never cut them bits out and I lol'd at the cloud light 🤣 subscribed!!! Can't wait to now binge on the rest of your vids!!!
Ah, thank you so much! We wanted to give a more real look around our house and as there's always a pile of clothes lurking somewhere, it wouldn't be right not to give them a cameo 😉 x
If you’re mainly selling because your wardrobes are too small it would be much cheaper to just have a clear out of all the stuff you don’t really wear. The more space you have to store stuff the more you’ll keep/buy to fill it up. Before you know it you’ll be back in the same situation.
If that were the only reason for us moving, then yep, that would be a lot cheaper. However, we also work from home and shoot a lot of content here and we've been struggling to do that for a while now. We had considered renting a studio space, but decided to invest that money into a slightly larger home (the extra wardrobe space will be a bonus 😉)
Just giggling along with you both, loved this!
@@allthatisshe You have so much space already. I can only dream!
It seems like no matter what anyone has, they always want more. You have a beautiful house. Invest in your future, instead of wasting time and money getting something bigger. There are families out there living in one room. Here you have a gorgeous outdoor area, spacious rooms and studio. No need for more honestly
Always great to see people from Durham on CZcams. The best part of the UK. ❤️
Couldn't agree more 😉
Loved the tour! Can’t believe I’ve been following u for over three years because I remember the office being built! U guys have done such a great job! 🥰
This is the first video of yours I’ve seen and I loved it. You’re so sweet and funny. Loved the tree art around the house.
Great before and afters! We live in exactly the same style house and we have built an extension on the rear taking out the whole back wall. Great to see how you have done alterations.
I looove the green sofa and chair.
Love how bold and beautiful your interior style is!
Love the colours/textures /tones and finally a YT home video without everything being grey interiors
Wicked transformation! Literally just finished our! Love it. Great project
Oh wow, this has been on my home page for so long, I can't believe I didn't watch sooner! Your interior style is AMAZING 😍 I can't even imagine how you would top this
I love the creativity in the home
What can I say you guys have done an amazing job, so many unique ideas thinking out the box love it 💯🤗
Wow guys you are so talented. I am so jealous. Your house is very unique and beautiful. Stay blessed
Wow! Such a beautiful house ..you have turned it very modren decorations what a creativity 🤩👍🏻
What I forgot to say is you are so right about limited storage! Our front small bedroom is full of fitted wardrobes, but we have lost a bedroom to them
This is really interesting to see, my grandma has a similar sort of house from the 60s. Unfortunately it was really badly built and now has subsidence, water damage, cracked walls and ceilings and the electrics need to be completely redone. I like what you have done to the house in this video.
Wow just wow. Stumbled across this video and loved every second of it. Subscribed and liked. Thanks so much. xx
Garden is amazing, and so is Elvis 💕
What amazing taste you missed your calling as interior designers. So beautiful
Tiktok sent me here , love the house , reminds me of house where I grew up in the 70’s x
Amazing home! You have amazing talent!!
Looove this, weve just bought a semi detached version of this house in Ouston and were going to extend the full back out (haven't moved in yet), now I've seen your conservatory dining room it's threw a spanner I the works... so many possibilities! Budget depending haha
Oh wow what a fantastic job, I’m in a full Reno house but it’s so overwhelming we don’t know where to start ! X
Samantha Mcbarron: I totally get it! Project managing a renovation is so stressful. Each job feeds into another, so timing them all right and making sure everything is arranged with builders/workers is overwhelming. Good luck! It’s all worth it in the end.
You have done an amazing job well done. It looks stunning and I love the little detail. With the recent changes to the planning system in the last few weeks you can now increase the size of a house like this substantially without needing full planning permission!
Please make a more detailed kitchen video! Yours is stunning and I’d like to hear about how you chose what shelves and drawers went where, etc. Great design!
You have such a simplistic, stylistic and charming style :)
Would it be an idea for a plate of glass in front of the book-headboard, so the books won't get tattered?
Omg I saw this house on
TikTok it looks beautiful❤️
Wow it’s amazing lots of love and support 💜😊💜💜💜
You could get a piece of acrylic to Sandwich the books then can wipe it if cleaning? Love the idea.
Wow how gorgeous
You have a gorgeous home, best of luck with your new house 🏡
Love your garden long whit planters . What they made out of
Thank you!
my fav style of house.
CURRENT CLIMATE….No trees were harmed in the making of this video 🤣
Just stumbled across this and I love all the trees! Beautiful and clever design which includes so much in a relatively small space. Lovely! Perhaps a pre-drilled piece of plexiglass over the headboard would protect the books? Stay well...from a new sub in Canada!
AMAZING TRANSFORMATION 👍
Scissors on the island make it untidy 🤣 should see my house most of the time 🤣 lovely house though beautiful job of the renovation
It now looks like a motorway cafe 😅
Finally a house that is not all grey
this is diabolical
That looked like a gooood cuppa
Hello. Where did you buy the glass railings for the stairs? And how much did it cost with installation? Very beautiful house! thanks for the video!
Love this! We’re looking to buy our first home and the 60’s semi is something we’re considering too. We are in Durham too and constrained by school catchment areas and I will be showing this video to my other half !
I know the feeling. We have to stick within Chester le Street for the same reasons. Our previous house was a Victorian terrace, built in 1890, so very different to what we have now, and when we first started house hunting we wrote off any 1960s style houses as we loved the high ceilings and space you get with an older property. However, since living in both, 1960s houses are amazing. You usually get more space than with a new build, they have a lot of potential, and you still get to live within an estate which is great for the kids.
ALLTHATISSHE there are some stunning houses in Chester le Street. There are 60’s semis minutes from where we live at the minute and you’ve most definitely convinced me to consider them 😁
You could sandwich The book headboard between MDF and a glass or Perspex front. X
Thank you! The new owners have asked for us to leave it for them ☺️ x
I lobe this house.
Only just found you guys! The home looks beautiful 😊 talking about your cupboards under the stairs.... you’re right, my husbands a joiner / carpenter - Joiner means more bespoke work i.e cupboards, bespoke kitchens, bespoke staircases, unique items ... carpenters are bigger builds usually, beams for flooring, roof work etc 😊
Thank you! So technically Dominic was right - we hired a joiner - but carpenters are still about and weren't only around in the 1900s 😂
Haha 😂😂😂 otherwise my husband is in his hundreds! He’s looking pretty good for a 127!! 😂😂 the joiner did a great job! 😊 love the home! Take care 🌸😊💛
such a beautiful house
I absolutely love the look of this house! You've done an incredible job I just hope Elvis doesn't stay locked in that tiny room all day without company 💞
Thank you! No, we work from home so he has company all day ☺️
Love it pet 💕 can't wait to see your new home Saying that your leaving such an amazing home behind xx Lou from the other side of the water 😂
The Stacey Solomon reference 😂😂
Omg no way this house is in south Pelaw used to drive past there on my driving lessons all the time mad that yous used to live there
WOW I LOVE THIS ITS AMAZING WHAT YOU'VE DONE :)
The rug in your daughters room looks very crime scene CSI like😂
Love your style!
Omg why did I think that was the house on Friday night dinner 😂😅
What fun, thank you. 😋✌️
Brilliant
Your house is absolutely beautiful. I can’t wait to see if you do another home video. You have great taste and Elvis is adorable. Can you tell me where the floor tiles are from in the utility room? All the best and I hope you get your dream home and everything goes well for you all 🥰
This house looks amazing!! i really like it 💕
Thank you! We’ll miss it when we move
Oh my god I recognised the house straight away I live so close to you, saw it on rightmove! House is beautiful
No way! Such a small world. Thank you so much ❤️
I don't like the lounge. It is so dark compare to how light and bright the rest of the house is
You have phenomenally good taste! If only this was the standard to the majority of British homes!
Thank you so much!
Cool, loved the tour. Another northerner 😁 hello! It’s nice to hear ya accent and it doesn’t sound too bad when your talking, but that’s why I’ve never done any vids coz I hate me accent and always worried no one wanted to hear it. Good Luck for the new home and can’t wait to see how you personalise it. best wishes and stay safe, xxanother durham lass
Oooooo very nice
Wandering how much was spent on refeb
It is so nice to see a Geordie on CZcams, I figure you’re currently in Durham but where are you planning to move to sticking with Durham or what? Love the trees and plants incorporated into the interior it’s so original
Also what is the menu blackboard you have in your kitchen?
Yeah, we're sticking to Chester-le-Street as that's where the girls go to school (plus, we love the area!). That is just a blackboard we bought about a year ago, but when lockdown happened, to avoid being asked for snacks and food 24/7 from the kids, we created a tuck shop (and that's the items listed on the blackboard). They were given £1 a day to spend on snacks, and they can spend that £1 as they wish ☺️
I wouldn’t tell the internet where your kids go to school. Just a thought
If you hate Arsenal subscribe it’s a large area her kids could be anywhere 🙄
ALLTHATISSHE that’s such a cute idea for the kids will teach them the value of money and other skills used as adults 😊
That is so British! Lol
lovely house, the only thing that upset me was the fact that Elvis doesn't have a place IN the home with the family that he loves :-(
he does! it's at 12:18
Awesome renovation! How much did the renovation cost in the end? Really like the conservatory!
You did such a wonderful job transforming this house! Love it, especially the garden too. I can’t wait to see what you do with the next place x
If you take the book headboard with you could you protect it with some clear polycarbonate sheet?
Well i love u guys and ur content
So refreshing from grey and blush pink . See your Skelton clock in your kitchen , is it 60 cm . Sorry abit random but I am trying to judge the size before I order one myself x
Looks really great!! I’d really love to know what timber cladding you have used on the front!?!? Looking for something EXACTLY like that!
My semi-detached house was built in 1938 most houses in my area of a kept pretty much exactly the same since they were built we have an old style electric box around the corner that is completely original also my area is connected to an area that was built in 1947 I know that because an image on Google of the area being built and was a 1947 and those houses are completely original completely original brick they used to be some old concrete lamppost that were original to the area but the council got rid of them in 2018 and replace them with metal ones that make the area look not that much different to the rest of the town they all council estates look identical now because the lamp posts are just exactly the same it's only a few that are original but not many
Beautiful thanks for sharing - we'd love to know who made/ fitted your windows ? they are really smart 👌
Lovely gorgeous kitchen and home! Can anyone comment on the quality of a Wren kitchen versus IKEA kitchen?
We’ve decided to work from home. We currently decided with the circumstances of Covid 19 and renting an office. We have reshaped our business so we can work from home long term and we’ve been in our house 4 years nearly and we looking to move as well for the same reasons. We redeveloped and now going to do it all again in not too distant future. Working from home is more productive and I’m sure happier and healthier.
Could you possibly change your name ? My best friend is currently fighting for her life in icu with corona virus
Ginger Snap yes. I will change. I’m sorry to hear that I hope she makes a full recovery soon.
Ginger Snap changed
@@babyshark646 you are a star ❤️
Ginger Snap no worries, I hope your friend pulls through 🙏🙌
Where do you keep the lawnmower, vacuum cleaner, ironing board and girls bikes.? I would love to redesign our home as we own a similar property but need that storage
We had a shed style room built onto the side of the garden office, so we keep our bikes, tools, gardening equipment in there. The door is double glazed and it's fully alarmed so very secure. As for our hoover, we have the Dyson V10 so we have a mount for it in the utility room. We did have a wall mounted ironing board, but it came off, so currently we're ironing board-less 😂
Well well done guys, amazing job!!!
Can I ask for the price of conservatory?
Where’s your shirt from??? I love it
Love your trousers, where are they from? 😍
I preferred it as before
lol what? Takes all sorts I suppose.
I thought the tree branches were curtains 😭
It’s in a fence post 🤣
Nice👌🏽
hi. what about the boiler? did you change it to a combi boiler.
I really loved it. If you don't mind can you tell what your job is? Are you an interior designer?
We're both content creators on Instagram, but my partner loves interiors and will spend hours analysing and planning each room before we decorate, so I think that helps 😉
What a beautiful home you have created. I'm a first time viewer so have a lot of catching up to do. Love the garden office can you remember the approximate cost.
Thank you! We sourced a lot of the materials ourselves, which helped keep costs down, but I believe it was around 16-18K.
@@allthatisshe only the office 18k? That's crazy..
Where are the shelves from in your utility room, above the sink? X
Whys there a tree in the bedroom?
Lovely house! What did you use to edit this video? Love it!
