Filipino Reactor. Keeping it real and natural.
I am Nephi Acaling. I am native to Bacolod City but currently living outside the Philippines due to job assignment. I’ve lived in different countries like Singapore, Japan and United States due to job assignments. I was in the US when I started this channel thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
At a time, I was a band vocalist performing every Friday and Saturday night at a local bar chain but recently decided to quit from my band to focus on my CZcams Channel and my full-time job as an engineer.
I was a member of the Filipino Voice Symphony where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our choral group actually bagged the Gold Medal in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
I was the Glee Club president and was a trainer for various singing competitions when I was in the university - all these were humbling experiences for me.
WHAT IS THE GOAL?
My mission is to promote music among different regions and try to make people from different countries relate to each other through music and singing. I have always believed that even small gestures in understanding similarities and differences towards others may actually lead to greater awareness about countries and their people.
In this modern world full of things that divide humanity, it is but perfect to put efforts in re-uniting and building bridges among all of us.
I have come to a point of trying to find a greater purpose in life, something beyond just being happy for a moment. Happiness in life is more meaningful if we choose to be useful, be honorable, be compassionate, and make a difference.

Thanks Nephi for this reaction. Attended a few of her concerts - when she needed to dance, she REALLY danced. She remembered the steps just like the other professional dancers accompanying her. High notes or low notes, she didn't miss a step. That's why she's so loved.

Yes nephy she is professional. Find one for me who among great singers who can dance while singing n maintaining her vocal ? Whether she is in competition o not she will put up herperformance to a concert level.she will not only focus to vocal but holisticly. Most of singers only focus to vocal in a competition n normal event but not tok ti either for ballad o fast song. She will bring on d stage dancers o other props to accompany her. Imagine how could she do that! She had to remember d steps lyric n syn. Everything. Its hard if u bring all these stuff in ur performance. Its much easier without all these n just focus on vocal . These wiil disturb ur vocal esp in a competition.who don want to get d best vocal? She doesnt really care coz she is so passionate in her career n she has ever won best vocal in AIM (Correct me if m wrong) based on her live live concert performance.wat else she must proved if people keep on denying her ability?
