  • I arrived at Moynihan Train Hall early, and rather than wait around the station, I decided to find an Irish Pub in the area to enjoy a drink and appetizer. As it turns out, the Molly Wee Pub is just down the street from Pennsylvania Station and offers a full bar (with exceptional beer selection) as well as a variety of lunch and dinner options.
Molly Wee Pub is welcoming and friendly to tourists and locals alike. I noticed the clientele was made up of people from the neighborhood, Rangers sports fans, Irish expats, NYC sightseers, and travelers like me who were waiting for a train and stopping in for a quick drink.
I was impressed with the Rangers and Knicks sports memorabilia on display, as well as old relics and artwork from Ireland. Learning that the Molly Wee has been owned by the same family for over 30 years was especially heartwarming. Although founder Paddy Reilly has passed, his photo and painting are prominently displayed in the pub as his legacy lives on. Reilly's wife and loyal staff keep the Molly Wee in its rightful place, atop New York's list of best eating and drinking establishments. #newyork #irishpub #midtownmanhattan
