Hydrangea is a plant native to the warm temperate regions of East Asia, where there are high mountains from 1000m in South Asia, Southeast Asia and the Americas. .
The hydrangea is a herbaceous plant with asexual flowers. Most of the hydrangea flowers are white, but depending on the pH of the soil, the flowers are still blue, pink, purple, etc. Hydrangea is a moisture-loving plant and is suitable for cool climates from 15 - 25 degrees Celsius.
So this plant is grown a lot in Japan, UK, Korea, USA, France.... Hydrangea is usually propagated by two main methods: cuttings and tree branching method.

Well over a decade ago I was working as a visiting nurse and in a parking lot at a building where a patient lived. It was late November and I spotted a hydrangea bush off to itself, with one bloom left which had turned a beautiful raspberry shade in the cold weather. I couldn’t leave it there unappreciated and broke it off about 7 inches below the bloom. I took it home and placed it a bud vase on my mantel just to enjoy the color and shape. Occasionally I added water throughout the winter and to my delight, substantial roots formed. In the spring I think I removed the flower before planting the one little stick in my garden. It took off and today is a big, beautiful, thriving bush.

Hydrangeas are magical, i planted a cutting of Blue Hydrangea in February, it took 1 month to give its first Leaves, after 2 months in May it bloomed First flower, Magical it turned Pink.
I am from India. These are my favorite flowers. I have plenty of these plants. Propagated from cuttings. It's mostly pink and just a couple of blue. My soul is mostly alkaline.
These plants are my newest obsession. I want them everywhere if possible!

I've actually bought the ones they sell in grocery stores for bouquets and trim the bottom and dip in rooting hormone and just put in a container with potting mix. And in a matter of months I got flowers right before winter here in Fort Worth. And it slowly started sprouting from where they had trimmed them at the store.

En climas cálidos, esta planta aún se puede cultivar. Eso sí, debes plantarla en una maceta y dejar que tenga una temperatura moderada. Por ejemplo, debajo de un gran árbol fresco.

I accidentally snapped a stem from one of my 11 hydrangeas stuck it in the ground and it grew into a beautiful healthy little plant. I don’t see how a tomato comes into this as the risk of the rotting tomato bringing pathogens seems too much. Just rooting powder and water should do it. Hydrangeas are super easy to grow but they seem to hate fertiliser, well mine do.
Yes, no explanation was given about using the tomato, maybe I just missed it.
I think,will just try with that Tomatoes,if it works,, then , will prove it,, then judge by our own,,God Bless 🙏

tried to root so many branches from wedding bouquets & table vases but none took except 1. Will try this method tomorrow from a cutting of that one, which is now 2feet tall with a few side shoots & had 3 blooms this summer. Thank you for the tutorial.
U nas w Polsce niestety hortensje ogrodowe często przemarzają zimą lub wiosną podczas nocnych przymrozków. Jak zakwitną są wielką ozdobą ogrodu.😘
Ja mam w doniczkach na balkonie. Poowijane w agrotkaninę przetrwały zimę i pięknie kwitły. W ogrodzie chyba jakieś zabezpieczenia trzeba porobić. Może tylko na zachodzie Polski jest cieplej
Jeszcze nie wiadomo w jakiej temperaturze trzymane są te sadzonki. Gdzieś w domu ?
@@pumaTe muszą mieć ciepło i wilgoć. Ja tnę w czerwcu dłuższe odnóżki i ukorzeniam w wodzie na parapecie. Ładnie puszczają korzenie ale pierwszą zimę trzeba je trzymać w chłodzie w domu lub innym pomieszczeniu.
W te cuda z pomidorem do końca nie wierzę...😉

A może prędzej pomidor wykiełkuje niż hortensja 😉

The ideal soil for growing hydrangeas in a jar would be loose and fertile soil, slightly stronger in acidity. Especially if you want to grow blue hydrangeas in a jar.
It is the acidity that gives hydrangeas a specific blue color, while on other soils they can be white, yellow, pink and purple.
When buying and looking for a hydrangea plant to grow in a jar, always look for the “hydrangea macrophylla” species. You can enjoy this flower because of its large lush flowers from year to year, unlike flower hydrangeas that bloom for only a few weeks and then end their season, and will never be able to overwinter. ❤️

Increase alkalinity of soil will give pink flowers while increasing acidity will give blue shades. The fertilisers for camalias is acidic.

Aca en Argentina , para que sean azules le colocamos . materiales que contengan hierro ej : colocar restos de hierro redondo de construcción siempre se encuentran tirados por ahí , o clavos de ese material .También vienen productos ... pero para no gastar generalmente recurrimos a ese método y es barbaro . Yo uso arena para esquejes. La tierra para plantar es una mezcla de abono orgánico, fibra de coco y humus, que se composta durante 3-4 meses.

Plants are expensive. If you can grow more from yours go for it. I have a very large one and from that one I now have 3 more. I'm going to start new ones for family and neighbors and friends. What a nice way to share.

Что то от помидорки и шкурки не осталось! Она и так прекрасно приживается!!!
Что только не придумают🤔 причем здесь помидоры.....да....
Дело в том,что гортензия любит подкислённый грунт,вот помидорка и обеспечивает необходимую кислотность.Корни как минимум поорастали недели три,и конечно от помидорки ничего не осталося.Ну а шкуру может не стали показывать из эстетических соображений.

Eu so gostaria de saber o nome do enraisador usado pois o tomate é claro que nao é pois alem de demorar muito para a areia transformas o tomate em materia pronta para alimentar a estaca a probabilidade de apodrecer pelo excesso de umidade é grande.

Fiquei sabendo que pra se ter elas azuis é preciso plantar em uma terra ácida e alcalina ,um bom exemplo é dissolver o bom bril quando já está enferrujado e não presta mais, em porções de água e jogar só na terra onde esteja plantada ..ou usar o bom bril bem seco e enferrujado e espalhar e misturar na terra onde esteja plantado ..vocês terão lindos buquês Azuis ..experimentem e se surpreendam ..🌼🌹🌻🌸
To have blue flowers we should use alkaline soil only. Acidic soil is for pink flowers
