Things RS players are better off not thinking about: with all the hours weve played this game a lot of us could have a PHD or 3 if those hours were put into schooling,some of us could know 3+ languages,with a decent job those hours could buy a house and lastly... With the hours spent playing RS some of us could be the exact levels and progress into RS we are now!

I started this series two days ago. I heard about it on j1mmys podcast, and I got to say when you reach the end o a series knowing you have to wait for the next episode after watching how far settled has gone is excruciating. But! One thing I’ve learned from this glorious man, is that patients goes a long way. I will wait however long it take to see the end of this. Because not to do so would be an injustice to the hours he put and the hours I don’t think I would ever be able to put in. Keep putting in the good work man. You’re awesome!

pretty sure this is the first time ive seen an episode be uploaded since I started watching. This series really hit me with osrs nostalgia, leading me to sink hundreds of hours into osrs for old times sake. Good show, swamp man.

It's not technically the first impling, because the first impling was on a 2000 total word, which settled used his main to catch. It is the first impling on swampletics (read: the first one that matters) tho

I don't think some people truly realize how fucking long 537 hours is, especially for a grind. This dude just put in as much time into being able to make a single item as some people put into an entire game.

Nice video! A few streamers have successfully completed ToB using guthans as the main dps gear. Some have even soloed ToB with just guthans, a poison weapon for verzik, and throwing knives (although they used ancients for Nylocas room). Have you considered farming barrows for full guthans instead of grinding for ruby bolts? You could also use sacks of potatoes to tick eat Sotetseg, or purple sweets if you saved any from clue hunting.
Also, the pillory guard random that you dismissed can give gems up to diamond
I am .3 gigs away from using all my data and I'm going to use it all up watching this before I get home and get WiFi and it's totally worth it.
The longest grind is waiting for the next episode.

Watching Swampletics grind is the equivalent of the experience you would get being a F2P player in a Chinese MMORPG.
I'm a bit sad that the upload schedule for this account eventually slowed down, but it's totally understandable. The early vids really helped me out on the tedious grinds for my f2p hcim (power amulet mostly, still working on the 99 ranged grind currently then comes smithing)
