Imagine losing your job because you got upset at someone for nearly killing you after warning them multiple times
Sad world we live in
Lol
And they tell you they know better
Cry about it
Facebook justice rules our lives. How fkd is that???
I can’t believe people are siding with the idiotic customers that almost got the man killed.
Fr
I feel like it was because he yelled at a child.
Even if it wasn't directly, seeing how they're treated in society nowadays.
I can, because there's a lot of other idiots.
What about the kid??
Stupid will follow stupid.
personally when I heard he almost got thrown into the motor I was immediately on the captains side. totally understandable response to a near death accident.
Ok
kO
Fr
Yeah, anyone who defends the family are just idiots
Yeah, no matter if accident or not, that is basically how anyone would react
A completely understandable reaction after almost losing your life to someone’s stupidity
Not really if you at a job you need to be professional, if there is a safety concern your job should be addressing that, be it having a lock system on the throttle or something or not leave keys in or how ever it works when away from it.

I'm with the captain on this one. You can tell the dad never apologized to the man or say it was an accident. Probably touched it on purpose.
he said sorry but idk if it was an accident or not
The captain did say he had to tell him more than once so I don't think there was any "accident"
@@lifeasrini Well thaw captain told him to stay out of the helm area multiple times but he only touched the throttle once so it’s possible the throttle part was an accident.
@@Personwtcats .... yeah ok that's fair. But he shouldn't have been near it, so I'm still with the captain lol.
He gave the guy a $200 tip after they continued the trip and then decided to pay the victim.
I'm with the captain on this one. Screw the father for almost getting him killed and screw the company who backpedalled and fired the poor guy.
Mym
@@MindlessTubeThat almost got him killed. It almost threw him into the motor.

My bad bro
I feel extremely bad for Chris. He could've had a serious injury.
He could have been killed dude
Or worse
A serious injury is an interesting way to describe death.
Or worse, death
That could have been a painful death
I'm fully on the captains side. Because a professional telling a customer not to do something and the customer then thinking "nah, i know how this works" and then doing it, happens a lot.
Where’s @mindlesstube telling you that he should have remained professional after going through a near death experience 😂?

The father is 100% at fault. Even his kids knew their father was full of it. You don't see people pulling these shenanigans in the cockpit of a plane. Why should a vessel be any different. Shame on the company for not standing its ground.
Aeroflot Flight 593
@@rheinnon Yes, excellent example!!
How can anyone blame the captain. Imagine you keep telling someone not to play with your gun, and cause they were so childish, they almost shot you. That man deserves a better company and less stupid customers
Perfect analogy!
Why you keep your gun locked up or unloaded or find ways to prevent it from happening besides just telling them not too.
@@MindlessTubejust cause something is locked away, doesn't mean some stupid mf isn't going to try.
@@MindlessTubeYou're looking way too much into the gun analogy lol. Plus what did you expect the captain to do other than warn them? Most reasonable people listen to the warning of a professional and that's often enough to ensure that the risk is avoided, that father was not being reasonable and almost got somebody BRUTALLY KILLED.
@@MindlessTube he's an adult not a child my guy
Captain Chris needs to hire a lawyer for wrongful termination. Nuff said
It's Florida. The state allows people to be fired for anything.
Wrongful termination only applies if there's a provable reason that an employee was fired for. Honestly, this could go either way, but it's definitely not a guarantee for him to win.
Why would you even bother for this sort of company
he wouldn't win lol. as long as it wasn't for a discriminatory reason, you can get fired for literally any reason or no reason in most states
@@HeterosexuaI there are other reasons for wrongful termination than just illegal discrimination.
Imagine u verbally defend urself for someone almost taking ur life then ur still mature enough to let them finish their trip & u still get fired cuz people are ignorant greedy heartless turds that can't take responsibility for their own actions.
Yea
now a person like that going on a long holiday to siberia for some re-evaluation of what they've done, is that really such a bad idea?
The audacity the dad had to go on social media and say that like he didn’t almost “accidently” end someone’s life
Yup that dad is a real pos !!! 💩
Just ask the kid he seems cool and straightforward
There's no way he slipped and "accidentally" touched the throttle, the way the captain reacted lets you know that was the final straw he even said they customer kept hanging around near helm when told not to and the dad was very arrogant
Plus in pretty sure boats like that usually have non slip tape on the floor to prevent accident so im guessing the dad is 100% at fault.
Dad being a child, wanted control of toys, then pleading accident to evade responsibility when he almost killed someone.
If the gear is in neutral there usually is a button you have to press to get out of neutral. Su I doubt you could “slip” into gear.
@@cosmicsans3997 Very hard to slip on the floor of a boat.
I've been on a few chartered boats, and the captains are VERY serious about safety. They usually spend the first 5-10 minutes giving a safety brief. There is NO way I'd consider touching their helm.
a level of respect for literally ANY motorized vehicle. Stay away from the driver's seat unless you have direct permission.
Guy had a near death experience and got alittle rattled... Understandable. Was his reaction perfect? No, but i wouldn't hold it against him.
It's a completely understandable reaction minus the swearing
It was a 100% perfect and normal reaction
The dude got his head nearly chopped off because someone wouldn't listen of course it was reasonable.
@arctic4695 even the swearing is normal,
"a little" is an understatement - nevertheless, it's justifiable

Its crazy how people who sided with the customers probably are entitled and are probably sovereign citizens
I wasn't trying to drive the boat I was trying to travel with it and that's not a crime.
@EVnationWrestler uh what does this have to do with anything
@@izzatchakhachiro3286it's a reference to the idiotic statement "I am no driving; I am traveling."
@@izzatchakhachiro3286its a play on a classic "sovereign citizen" quote about why they don't have to abide by the law.
See "never in my life have i had a trip like this" means even if the dad did this incident accidentally, there were many smaller incidents that were starting to get to the captain.
No, it means he got a really stupid costumer who can’t listen. I worked in customer service, people don’t listen and act like they own the company.
@@germanshepherd6638 that's what I said...? I said the dad must have done a bunch of other things to get under the captains skin in the first place and it sounds like the dad was a nightmare to deal with

If the captains telling the truth, I’d rather the kids see their dad get told he’s an idiot than watch him get no consequences for his actions
I am on the captain’s side for this one. That fishing trip could’ve cost him his life and then after all this drama, he get fired because the company caved?
You can’t blame someone who you almost killed for cursing at you. This customer family runs on Karen energy.
Near death situations can make anyone mad. They personally owe Capt. Chris for their involvement in screwing up his life.
I mean, who wouldn’t be really pissed if someone that was not supposed to touch something almost got you injured or even killed?
Yet another entitled parent getting someone fired because how dare he be told what to do in front of HIS kids.🙄
I want to say the captain is overreacting but honestly it's pretty valid for a near death experience. Don't touch stuff you know nothing about.
There’s no way he would’ve freaked out like that, plus the cap says it himself, if they did that only once.
Ya the family did that once and caption saw the gate of heaven
"I just told you listen to me" he clearly warned them and the dad clearly didn't slip
"I slipped and accidentally pushed it". Sounds exactly like a lie a child would come up with. I'm inclined to side with the captain.
He almost got thrown overboard from his own ship and because of his passenger playing with the control. You can understand his frustration. He is literally the Captain of the ship, not some manservant
@ammarbaagu it wasn't just off the ship either, it was almost into the motor, which would have killed the captain, which makes it so much worse. It's completely understandable why he got so upset after almost dying, poor guy
Justice for captain chris
i feel bad for captian chris
Tourist entitlement.
Don’t use the company ! Apparently they care more about customer negligence than the safety and well being of the captain.
I'd like to see the people who griped about the captain be calm after a completely avoidable near death experience caused by someone else
I don't know if I would have reacted so calmly if I was almost turned inside out like that...
This proves that you can’t please everybody.
Every time you make a decision, someone’s gonna disapprove and start whining
am on Cap Chris side
Im giving the guy that literally does it for a living the benefit of the doubt here. Captain's ship, Captain's rules.
That was the most perfect I DON'T GIVE A F***! i've ever heard. 😂😂😂
This is the equivalent to:

Person: i accidentally sneaked in passed the lasers and security and accidently guessed the code to the vault
....how dumb can you be
Who’s actually getting mad at the captain for being mad that he almost got killed? Ffs man. The public are stupid
“Karens” who actually do this to other people and WILL held themselves accountable of their actions
The kid even said, "Just leave it" to his dad.
I would also be that mad if someone almost killed me because of their ignorance
"They should call it fishgate" 💀💀💀
I really don't blame the captain.
I get that his reaction might be a bit overboard but I’m still siding with the captain because the dad practically caused the whole situation.
“Okay yeah you made yourself clear”

I know when i buy a plane ticket that im not allowed in the cockpit, where all the controls are. It makes sense that all those rules would apply with chartering a boat.
When the captain isn't at the helm, the engine should be shut off and he should have the key on him at all times. Even a kid could just go in there and push the throttle. That should be protocol. Also, the captain and everyone else including the kid isn't wearing a life jacket. I'm pretty sure it's required in case someone falls overboard. That's a liability from hell for the charter company if someone falls out of the boat and drowns.
Never tought of that
@@user-ym3cw3dx6k Does everything have to have a side?
The family still stupido
You don't turn off a ship just because a captain isnt in the helm and a crew knows to follow orders when given to them.
Don't be ridiculous. Those people are the confusion of evil, and you express the very fear that made them so
#JusticeforCaptainChris
That's a newer boat, you can't slip and push the throttle.. it has a safety button that has to pressed in to move it.. and why was the motor running when the capt isn't in the cabin? Whole thing sounds sketchy
The captain shouldn’t have been fired
This was entirely the customers fault as they were told not to go near the helm and yet they were near it, even if it was an accident or not they could of killed or sereously injured the captain
Poor guy got fired because people can’t listen. I’m so glad I don’t work in customer service. Don’t touch means don’t touch!
I believe the captain, he said he told him several time and he kept telling the captain no just listen to him instead.
Poor chris sometimes life just hits you to hard and you cave in because of it. Hope him the going foward ❤
That dad is basically Dexter's sister from Dexter's Laboratory. Presses the button that says do not touch and then plays the innocent angel.
