The 1st version stopped functioning after 5 months. The replacement is fiddly and inconsistent. Not impressed for something at that price point. Maybe this 2nd version would be better but I certainly wouldn’t recommend it. I keep reverting to my trusty Dualit which has had daily use for 9 years.
I think it always happens with subiminimal products. Their first gen nano foamer was a great idea but poorly executed, the second gen lithium one was absolutely fantastic. I had it for almost 1.5 year, it's really good. Maybe the nanofoamer pro 2nd gen would be better than the 1st one. I know it left a lot of sour taste in many backers mouth.
Same. I got mine from KS and it works wonderful. Just 2 weeks ago, it stopped getting hot. I'm happy it started working fine again the next day, but still not hot enough. My mom complaints that she does not like when I make her a coffee or matcha since what I server her is not enough.
Likely whole milk / 3.25% - you need a certain amount of fat to hold air in the milk and keep your foam so with a lot of the barista alt milks, they’re adding in additional fat to make them possible to foam!

They used allow us to return the gen 1, it was a flop
