Hi! Performance is great, screen is good without chin but not super bright like "true" flagships, battery is decent too. To be honest, not many options with 8+ Gen 1 in this price range.

1 - You can't make a price/value mistake choosing the Xiaomi T series. I've been using Mi 10T Pro and I was quite happy with it.
2- So, I can say at least 2 years you'll be happy with it.
3 - Can't say for global market but it's $600 in the UAE.

Just use a good phone cooler to mitigate the throttling, every phone even the best flagships have trouble with genshin impact and it makes every phone hot.

Hi! Pixel 6/7 aren't that good in terms of raw performance but for this price you'll get a good package - flagship UI speed, flagship main and ultra wide cameras, IP68 and wireless charging. Not many options in the price range of $500-600.
