    One of my obstacle in public speech was kind of nervouse feeling that what listners think about my speech.
    I've been trying to consider them as my close friend who are there to support me. That mind set makes me calm and convey my opinion freely.

  • @leonardodavi6583
    @leonardodavi6583 Před rokem +8

    I personally would say that the most challenging and stressful aspec of public speaking is certainly the way through you're going to approach your audience's point of view and feedback about your performance and all the topic that you've discussed about throughout a certain presentation because, coming down to the intensity of your expectations and the type of person who you're going to listen to, this is going to unfortunately going to discourage you from becoming a better communicator by upgrading your communication skills and achieving a high level of success in any area of our lives, primarily in our careers. For example, figure an exprience where I'm going to have to warm up a persentation in an effort to indtoruce a new product of my company's customers. And then after preseting it, I'm going to decide to ask one of my colleagues' opinion about my performance as a public speaker, and eventually he ends up critizing me hrashly by saying: "Leo, your presentation has definitely been a terrible one due to the lack of a satisfactory communication, so you've never been able to engage the audience and actually encourage new clients to consume and purchase our company's services, I'm really sorry". However, when I'm going to ask my boss' feedback, he passes criticism on me constructively by telling me: "Leo, giving a sincere blief about your performance at the sales pitch, you've ultimately proven your capacity to describe our product as more briefly as possible by focusing on how it would solve our clients' problems in a creative manner, which is definitely one of the most positive characterisc of your presentation, but I also need to point out here that you'll need to endeavor on improving your communication because the way you speak is quite boring and don't express any emotion, and eventually most people can't feel interested in listening to the message that you're going to convey to them. That's you couldn't persuade new costumers to buy one of our services. Consequently, I would suggest you to level up your communication at all by reading books about human behavior and professional communication or even take some courses. Good luck, buddy". As you guys could realize, while the first person has given a harsh judment on your performance at the presentation that prevents you from keep working hard to enhance your effectiveness at public speaking, the second one critized you constructively by poiting your weaknesses and also gave you some tips that are going to allow you to strenghen those points in the long run with the aim of getting a skilled communicator. So the main advice here would be to avoid giving attetion to harsh critcs, in addition to hearing constructive feedbacks and implement all the sugggestions that they're going to provide you with in order to level up your skills in that particular area. Anyway, hopefully I helped you guys who spent your time by reading my comment, and thank you very much Cassé, Thiago and all the team behind Real Life English for making this useful content that enables us to improve our competencies in English and get a confident and natural English speaker. Aweeeeeeeeeea!

    Any advice for someone whos been living in the US for the las 13 years!
    When i first move to the US I did go to school but due to my environment English wasn't really that necessary, although I still had people who pushed me and got me to a inter-medium level.
    Im able to read and listen and get about 90% of what people are saying and whenever i don't understand something I simply ask the meaning of the world and I learn it that way.
    Now even though my whole environment is English! I only read English, I watch videos and series on english I still find myself not being able to communicate fluently, if anyone here was in my place can you please help me out and if you did something special in order to become fluent, would you mind sharing it?

    i think the most thing that make me afraid of speaking in front of the alot of people is 90% of people are judging you even tho you're doing everything in point. The only way to overcome this problem dont listen to people's opinion about you cause they gonna drawn you down just keep practicing and believe in you're self that you're gonna make it and the last thing surround your self by only positive people.

    Thank you so much for the video I appreciate it indeed.
    Today most of us got much advice to use our voices to feel the emotions.
    I liked the part of speech now, it is Stiff Jops, he is speaking about his project so Inthuceasmatically that a person watching it feels the real importance of it.
    I have a question, What is the difference between a hobby and a habbit?

    • @RealLifeEnglish1
      @RealLifeEnglish1  Před 3 měsíci +1

      Hi there Artem,
      Great to see you writing again. We really appreciate it!
      Aww yeah, Steve Jobs was a master on that!
      About your questions:
      In summary, while hobbies and habits can overlap in certain aspects, they serve different purposes in a person's life. Hobbies are chosen for enjoyment and personal fulfillment, whereas habits are often developed with a specific goal or outcome in mind, and they become ingrained into daily routines through repetition.
      Thanks again for learning with us. ❤️
