    I have the Aquila since a month now, it's my second bike (after a Brixton BX125) and I love it, very confortable and with good feelings

    I have a 2005 shadow since 2012. Amazingly reliable, very fun in mountain roads, beautifully designed and very well finished. 60K and going :D

    Quite like the look of the hysung , only downside for me is the exhaust note think it would benefit from aftermarket cans

    The Yamaha XVS 125 was V-Twin bike but they stopped making them in 2004, looks a good option if you could find one second hand

    Those are my 2 options exactly for the V twin. I am a big boy and it would just look like a tiny bike if the motor dissapears behind my shoes.

      @Ben Smith If your speed is calculated from a sensor on the output shaft changing the gearing will give you a false speedo reading .If your speed is calculated mechanically from by cable from wheel hub ,with standard dia wheel including standard size tyres ,your speedo will not need recalibration when final gearing is altered .Most standard speedometers are usually at least 4- 7 mph overoptimistic at 70mph anyway .

    Only two bikes I owned, first bike Honda Shadow, 2nd bike Hyosung Aquila 2012 model. Now getting a renegade commando...all in black. Best thing about working is the 15mins to commute into the city 😀

    Hi guys I'm thinking of getting back to biking after a bike accident many years ago I'm 6ft 3inchs tall I'm thinking of getting the new UM COMDORO CLASSIC or the Yamaha dragstar 125 can you help please

    • @MotorcyclePartsWarehouse
      @MotorcyclePartsWarehouse  Před 4 lety

      We would personally take a Dragstar over a UM any day. They're lighter and have a more authentic look. The V-Twin helps too. But they are harder to get a hold of and may need some work, such as a full cleaning of the carbs.

      Check out the UM Vegas, Water cooled, smooth gearbox. I have one and love the look and rides beautifully. Best 125 Cruiser available new IMO

    Hi guys, I'm 5.8 and a really heavy guy with 130kg :'( So would you recommend those two for me? And which one would be better overall between those 2?

    • @MotorcyclePartsWarehouse
      @MotorcyclePartsWarehouse  Před 3 lety

      Hi Eidan, height wise you would suit either bike, it's just a question of which riding position you prefer. The Hyosung is more upright and aggressive, where as the Shadow is more relaxed and further back with your feet out in front of you. Both bikes are similar in power and weight so you'd be fine with either weighing 130kg.

  • @petethompson1282
    @petethompson1282 Před 3 lety

    hyosung do a more relaxed version now with handlebars like the honda and a longer tank

  • @maskedavenger2578
    @maskedavenger2578 Před 2 lety

    The Honda Valadero 125 is the boss as first choice when choosing a 125 V twin .When it comes to cruisers top speed is not what they are about, as they are meant to chug about at 30 - 50 mph .Even more so with 125’s with the rare odd burst of speed up to around 65 -70 mph now & then for very short periods to blow out the cobwebs .

    • @Kkkk-ll3ed
      @Kkkk-ll3ed Před 3 lety +1

      hyosung its better cuz its more powerfull and faster while the keeway , its too much slow , even for a custom cruiser

    I doubt the hyosung will last as long as the shadow I got 50k miles out of mine before I sold it and is still going

    • @hiyadroogs
      @hiyadroogs Před 4 lety

      The Hyosung will be more durable, since it is water cooled. The mechanical tolerances will be much tighter, the modern materials better, & the engine cooling allows higher engine revs while keeping the valves & pistons running at a lower temperature. Your Shadow lasted, as most high mileage machines do, because of good maintenance & regular oil changes.

    • @lordracula2461
      @lordracula2461 Před 4 lety +1

      @@hiyadroogs This is much the same as comparing any new vs old bike. Hyosung is a south korean manufacturer so not quite third world like keeway or lexmoto or sinnis. Hyosung are just as good as any japanese brand if not better now, and to be honest they always were great quality.

    Get real
    Honda are without question the world leader in small engine manufacturers.
    You do not need a comparison.
    They win every time.
    Style is personal.
